Our 8 yr old grandson was thrilled to open these on Christmas Day. The toy appeared to be well made. Unfortunately, after much examination by his grandfather, only one remote control worked, so spiders were unable to do battle! A good point is that a spare set of batteries are included, but not so good is that the ones already in the toy were almost flat. Disappointed to spend that amount of money for the toy not to work as it should. Can we get hold of another remote control?

My kids love it. Great fun for both of them ( my son 8 and daughter 5). These robot spiders are very well made, easy to control and great fun for the whole family. We have been very positively surprised that remotes allows multiple movement control at the same type.Robots could be however equipped with other types of batteries to support rechargeable types.

The instructions are really unclear at first. I had to read though online reviews to find out how to get the controls to work for each individual spider. My son loves it and is very happy!! He's really enjoying so farMake sure you don't turn both spiders on at the same time and that each control is set to a different channel. :-)

Bought these battling robotic creatures for my grandson's 6th birthday. He loves them. He has battles with his little brother and his friends with them. They are well-made, sturdy and can easily be manipulated by younger children. A tad on the expensive side but I'm hoping he'll get lots of play out of them for years to come.

These are well made and easy to use for my seven year olds. They are a lot of fun and can easily shoot 2m. But they are very slow to move and once you're both in each others sights, trying to "run" away will end up leaving you dead. Would be better playing with 4 as you would have less one on one stand offs.

The toys were well packaged and arrived in time for Christmas, despite my late order. Slight snag with batteries; the ones installed lasted only a few minutes, but new ones were supplied, so all OK in the end. I suppose I'd better let the kids have a go with it now!

This was a Christmas present for my 6 year old grandson. He liked it but shortly after use one of the. Two remote controls wouldn't work. He still seems to like it though using the one remote.

It’s an amazing toy. Bought as a present for 7 and 6 year old. They loved it just a little problem can’t play in one room as other can control second ones toy. But they are very thrilled.

These things are great, had no problems with the controller controlling both units as others have reported, just turn each one on separately on a different channel and it never happens.

it's fine. maybe a little fiddly for an 8 yr old. he didn't play much with it as he got so many other robotic things for Christmas. great that it came with spare batteries!

Hello my 8 and 5 year old boys have just opened there spider robots but only 1 remote works we have changed the battery and the remote still doesn't work ?
