My son (almost 3yrs old) was bought this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! We had never heard of the show but my nan got him it as he asked her for a dinosaur for Christmas. It was an instant hit and now two weeks later he still carries about everywhere, mainly dragging it behind him by the tail. It has a small button on the back that when pressed activates the different phrases and a larger button that creates a chomping motion and sound - which my son found highly funny when he shared his pork pie with Boris on Boxing Day! Language can be switched between English, Spanish and Effects Only by a button on the underside. The only downside is it hasn't got a permanent off switch,

The T-Rex is a meticulously modeled representation of this ferocious meat eater. The detail and texture is amazing. I wish this toy was around when I was a kid. The t-rex is well balanced having no problem standing on its 2 large feet when placed on flat surfaces. The t-rex is durably built easily taking the abuse from both my 2 1/2 year old and 1 year boys. Both my boys love playing with the t-rex and opening and closing the t-rex's mouth. I was a little worried that the movable jaw wouldn't hold up but it has. The t-rex is the perfect size. Even my 1 year old can easily pick up the dinosaur and walk around with it. The paint does come off though from wear and tear.

This dinosaur was lovely gift my little nephew was delighted , it came in a huge box , and as you know all children enjoy opening large presents.Being tough little boy it has stood the test of repeated crashing , throughing and bashing , the colour is lovely and very sturdy, the clever part is the roar when the mouth opens to show is sharp teeth, it a big thumbs up from my nephew and hence an even bigger thumbs up from me.For all you parents out there with dinosaur crazy children this is impressive and very interactive , they will be swept away in there own little Jurassic world for hours.

My niece was turning 3 and was desperate for a toy dinosaur. This was so much better than I ever could of hoped. It's amazing, well made and really educational. I would recommend getting one of the other compatable one because they are even better when they talk to each other and copy each other. But it's not vital to have another. Also it's so nice that the voices are clear and British English. Absolute bargain on here. I would of happily paid the rrp. Lastly it is on the bigger side but once out of the box it really isn't as big as some of the other reviews made it sound.

My son is dinosaur crazy, and loves these toys. The best feature is the interaction with other toys from the same range, and so you really need two or three to get the full benefit. Before Christmas I thought I'd test them, and before I knew it, they were all chatting away. The kids were in bed, and I was desperately trying to keep these dinosaurs quiet as they were challenging each other to a roaring competition! ! Great fun, and nicely made. They are also a really good size for young children of about three to six years old. In fact, Boris is huge. Great toys.

Santa brought Boris for our dinosaur mad son and he loves it. He also got another dinosaur from the Dinosaur Train series, so they can talk to each other. You can press the buttons for various dino facts and phrases - these sound a bit repetitive to us but out son seems to enjoy them. Pressing the tongue makes eating noises - ideal for when our son is making Boris eat his baby brother! It's also meant to make stomping noises when it walks but we can't seem to work out how to make this work. Overall, fun for a 4 year old, if a bit annoying for us to listen to ;-)

My four year old son is a dinosaur addict. He ended up with loads of different dinosaurs for Christmas but this is by far his favorite, already been well played with. This dinosaur is a good size, bright in colours and well worth the money. He is actually playing with it right now as I type! I am going to purchase the other dinosaurs to go with this next because apparently they all talk to one another. Overall I am one happy mummy with a grateful son.

I bought the good Dinosaur for an autistic child. The toy came wrapped in a plastic bag. its size is not very big, let's say it is as big as a 500ml bottle of water. it makes a sound and says some words. Once left without interaction it will snore which is very funny.The little girl i bought it for, adored it and didn't want to let go of it, which made me happy.I will recommend it highly as it is such a cute and interacting toy, for a good price.

Brought this for my dinosaur mad 3 year old, who probably has about 100 different dions already. No doubt he will love this one...it's big, it comes ina big box, it is noisy and brightly coloured. Not much more a dino mad 3 year old could ask for! He hasn't had it yet as it is a present, but I'm pretty sure he'll be pleased!No doubt it will begin to annoy me by boxing day, as I have tried the demo and it has a rather weird and loud voice.....

My 21 month old who is obsessed with dinosaurs loves this. It has a fabulous roar. Personally I'm not keen on the fact that it is anthropomorphised but I expect that is part of its appeal to toddlers. I haven't given it five as it doesn't stand up very well due to its proportions which means my toddler ends up pushing it along with its mouth on the floor. I will definitely be buying one of the other dinosaurs in the collection.

Bought this for a Xmas present for my 3yr old boy, he absolutely loves it, and got a few other they way they interact with each other is great, my name is Boris! lol. and when they haven't been moved in a while they start snoring..... hilariousgood noise effects and mouth opens and legs move too, my son has spent hours playing with this toy and his other dinosaurs.definatley recommend and worth every penny, money well spent

My nephew absolutely loves this toy, I've bought a few more toys from this series. Since there's no sense in only one toy, it should interact with the other dinosaurs. But the question with the gift for different holidays and birthday was solved for the whole year. I bought all these toys from one seller and everything was perfectly good.I'd recommend this toy for all children who love Dinosaur Train cartoon.

My 4 year old grandson loves this! I bought Tiny to go with him so they can chat to each other. It's educational as well as fun.Press their buttons once & they Roar, say hello & start chatting giving facts about each other, for example what they eat ( carnivore/herbivore ) , or height/size, environment & traits etc.If they're left alone for a while without play they go to sleep & start snoring. Lol.

Boris the dinosaur is large, heavy and interactive! He snores when led down on the floor and speaks to you randomly! He also roars on demand and a button opens his mouth. We have two and they speak to each other despite being the same dinosaur. I can not recommend this enough. My Four year old and my Three year old just love their Boris toys! (They sleep with them in bed!)It's pricey, but worth it.
