As another reviewer has said, the height of the box can be too low, such that inserted cards could cause the separator tabs to catch on the lid (if the cards are too thick or too many - hence minus one star in my review.)One way around this is to cut the tabs off the tops of the dividers. Rather drastic, but effective, and one would therefore have to also purchase stick-on tabs to label them.It depends on how many cards one would be inserting into each compartment that would raise the tabs into the lid. The compartment separators can be re-positioned to accommodate the different number of cards being placed into each of the nine compartments.There are eight separators with a tab each,

This item is fantastic ! I'm a seamstress and use a multitude of different machine needles. I put a sticky magnet on each panel to hold needles!! It's stylish and great quality, It even has little foam pads underneath.

It works, it's pretty, but i'm collecting more business cards so need to buy another.....
