I bought these to help improve a 7 year olds fine motor skills (intended as an alternative option to the pages of handwriting practise set by school). He struggled to do them with his fingers but I bought a generic version of the perler bead tweezers designed for use with mini beads and with these he managed absolutely fine. They have been a real hit and I am planning to buy some more different mini sets. His 4-5 year old sibling prefers the standard sized midi beads.

Somewhat fiddly, but reminded me strongly of how fiddly I found the normal size hama beads when I was a child.I completed the set project without any tweezers, but would recommend tweezers if you plan on doing more with this size of hama bead.I've done a lot with seed beads etc, and enjoyed doing something a little different.

Much smaller beads than expected - have ended up using them myself as they are far to fiddly for the 10 yr olds I know. Perhaps with the right kid these would be a dream present! 5* regardless...quality item and hours of fun!

Bought this for my 11 year old Daughter , bit more tricky to do than the normal size hama beads because size of beads as they are small , but overall good product would definitely recommend..

Great for nimble fingers, impossible for those with eye sight problems or arthritis! Only for the young. My child spent hours putting these together.

Daughter age 10 really enjoys doing these, bit more of a challenge as mini, look really good once done
