LOVE THIS PRODUCT BUT THERE IS A MISLEADING ERROR IN THE LISTING: 6 months - 3 years IS NOT RIGHT: it also says not suitable or children under 36 months!!Hama beads should be 5+, they are great fun but you do need patience and sufficiently developed fine motor skills to pick up tiny beads and place them accurately to create the picture you want - it would be too frustrating for most children younger than this. My kids have enjoyed them since age 5 and still play with them now they are 9.

We bought this for our 5-year-old son for Christmas. It's his first bead set and he really loves it. It encourages counting, good hand-eye coordination and colour matching. We do help him out to make sure he gets all the pictures right, making it a lovely family activity.

Purchased as a gift for a boy, having used Hama beads with my own children. These are small beads that you place on a peg board and then iron over to get them to stick together. I would suggest for the younger boy, maybe 4 to 9 years

Bought this for a Christmas present, however, having purchased Hamma Beads in the past, I am sure it will be of good quality.

Given as gift so can't say if 3D hama will work (can be a bit fragile). But good to find craft set with boy appeal.
