This is a super universal battery charger for Canon cameras. I have for sometime used a charger with the adjustable contacts which has worked but is fiddly and potentially fragile. This unit is in a different class and is akin to using Canon's own chargers but with the benefit that it takes their whole range of batteries, has world wide plug adapters and no long leads but rather plugs directly into the supplying socket.

Has turned out to be very useful. Does what it's supposed to. Only criticism is that it really needs to be fixed to a horizontal socket as it is quite heavy with the battery attached and can lean away from the contacts (and not function) if fixed to a vertical wall socket.However, a versatile device that charges a range of camera batteries.

Having both a Digital SLR and a Compact Camera, this has been excellent for charging whilst on holidays. Much smaller than carrying all the individual chargers needed.
