-This is the shorter [539mm], chrome version. [as opposed to the 'Supersteel']-RRP: £628 incl VAT- so, quite a lot off from Amazon-The 140° arc of rotation means the tap can reach almost the rear side of the sink/ both sinks if mounted between double sinks.- As a merchant warned me, the weight & height of the tap provides quite a lot of leverage & has a tendency to 'tilt'/ lean, slightly, if the tap is 'pulled' to the side- due to flexure in the stainless steel if mounted to the sink. This can only be prevented if tap is mounted through the worktop.-Some manufacturers supply mounts which fit under the sink to help to reduce the flexure.

I love this Kitchen tap. So glad I bought the tall one and not the shorter version. When the tap was installed it looked huge, and I thought I had made a mistake till I started using the tap. The height is what makes it easier when washing tall items with ease. Best investment in a good quality tap that oozes such great quality. It is a considered purchase and very expensive. But you get what you pay for. Buy cheap you buy more than once plus Plumber costs. Buy Expensive and you only pay once. Plus you get to use a great product and will more than get your moneys worth. When you buy on this site you save a lot of money. so I say don't think twice. Go for it. Read all about it here on this site,

I bought this on Black Friday sales week at 75% off list and have held back on reviewing in case I jinx it and it goes wrong! But I had it fitted a week ago and am so pleased with it. It is very large, so check the dimensions if you have a small kitchen as it may look silly, but everything was in the box and it works beautifully, as Grohe taps usually do.Slight negatives - because it's so tall and heavy it can feel a very tiny bit unstable, and I'll have to take the nozzle off to remove the spring for cleaning. Also I see that Nigella Lawson has the same tap and I'd hate to be thought of as copying her :)

I have looked at this type of tap for a long time and there are many on the market starting at below £100, but they were cheap, light and with rubber hoses which I could not see lasting for very long. This is a heavy piece of kit and when I opened the box I thought it was huge, but when it was fitted it looked great. Measure carefully if you are installing it under a cupboard. This is the medium model and there is an even taller version. Excellent Grohe quality. My plumber fitted special filter valves to protect the cartridge which I think is a good idea. Expensive, but if you want it to last you have to pay a bit more.

I can't pretend to be one who gets excited about taps, although at this price it did nearly give me a cardiac. But, if the reaction of wifey is anything to go by, then this is the kitchen tap of all taps. Looks and feels quality with the added bonus of being fully functional as well. As I said, I'm not one to bang one out over a kitchen tap, but the wife is delighted and every visitor gets a bespoke demo and a personal invite to spray the water around the sink. If everything associated with being married was as easy as choosing one of these then I recommend getting one every week. Hope that helps.

I made a mistake when having a kitchen fited by not ordering a tap.I quickly found the tap I wanted and then tried to find a supplier. Amazon had stock and was the cheapest by far. All local trade outlets had a lead time of six weeks and were 30% more expensive.The tap is great quality and very sturdy. It has two water modes, regular and show. The head clips out and has an extensible hose. More compact and lower than many others which was important for us - highly recommended

I am now obsessive about GROHE! This tap is brilliant - it looks fantastic, it is of the highest quality and it does exactly what it says. It is a tall tap, so be very careful about height if you have a cupboard above the sink. Even the packaging is excellent. The moving parts glide and the water flow through the tap outlet can be controlled across a broad spectrum, from drip to fast flow. It is a mixer and the temperature mix is also easy to control. Very happy!

This tap was purchased to replace a much less expensive similar tap and I only wish I had started with this one. It is absolutely worth the money to invest in a good kitchen tap as it is used every day in the highest traffic area of my home. There are places to save money when renovating and the kitchen tap is not one. Will look to use Grohe products in other parts of my home as necessary and will check Amazon first as this was the best price available online.

Very Nice quality item, but you do need the adapters as posted by previous reviewer from toolstation[...]. Worth noting also that the tap tails on this item are pre installed . I spent about 30 mins between trying to tighten them or in an attempt to remove them, it appears that as they are pre fitted that they are not interchangeable, unless I am mistaken. Worth noting for people installing the item.All in all excellent quality and worth the extra money.

Bought this for all the positive reviews.Excellent quality and reassuringly weighty.One gripe, not mentioned if you 'choose' to have the tap in shower spray mode the tap automatically reverts back to a normal spray when you turn the tap off which is annoying if you prefer to use the spray - why can't you simply choose what you want and change it back when you want!In conclusion, I love it and would buy it again...and again.

I searched high and low for a new tap and everytime came back to this grohe tap. Bought it.(medium) And absolutely no regret. If I had two kitchens I would buy again. Expensive but worth it. Functions brilliant - the power shower makes rinsing and cleaning sinks after use super easy. Keep sink hygienic as can get to corners. Once you close the tap the tap resets to normal setting ( soft flow ). Highly recommend.

This is a stunning tap. The chrome finish is bright & shiny, the lever control feels solid & the spray head returns with a satisfying click. The aeration is smooth & makes the water feel like silk. Is is very heavy though & likely unsuitable for installing directly on to a sink surface. My builder said it was a pig to install, but agrees it was worth the effort.

Excellent quality but if your sink is in front of your window and your window level is raised it Chechen how much room you have between the edge of your bowl and the raised window ledge as the leaver tilts back further than the tap ! To allow me to use mine I had to rotate my tap 30% to allow me enough room to push the leaver back for hot water .

We installed this in our new extension open plan kitchen and was glad we went for this tap. Absolutely stunning quality. Also when you use the spray setting and switch off the tap, it resets back to normal mode, which is a great feature I don't recall being mentioned. Visitors are drawn to the tap and compliment it. Kids love it too

This is the business. I bought it to replace a recently fitted tap of lesser quality (seems to be a surprisingly frequent occurrence), and I expect this one to last. The plumber was really pleased with it, and it radiates quality and solidity. He also found it much easier to fit than the last one.
