Getting this tap for just over £52 is excellent value for money. Grohe have an RRP of £118 for this very tap. A word of caution if you are fitting this yourself. The attached tails have a 3/8" bsp female end. You need an adaptor to that connects to standard 15mm UK pipework. You can do this in one of two ways. Get the recommended compression fittings by Grohe which should work fine. If you have standard compression fitted isolating valves for 15mm pipework, I would recommend an adaptor such as this:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hansvit-K91210-European-Compression-Isolating/dp/B01EJY5P8Y/ref=sr_1_29?ie=UTF8&qid=1540679675&sr=8-29&keywords=15mm+compression+by+3%2F8%22+bsp+maleJust pop in new olives and fit these directly to the isolating valves. This is what I did and it was such a neat solution.A second thing of note is with regards to the tails. They are quite long, 350mm to be exact. They are quite stiff and do not like to be kinked. So be careful how to end up placing them.It is an awesome tap that has a very smooth action and seems to be very well made. A final side note, Grohe are a German company, but the taps may not be. Mine was manufactured in Portugal which isn't a problem and I am sure the quality control is just as good. But I am aware some buyers might want to know.

Bought to replace a more expensive but "cheaper" kitchen tap from a certain orange warehouse DIY store.Despite the tight gap I had to work with, installation was a doddle. I've used Grohe in my bathroom so was expecting the smaller tap tail size, which added maybe a couple of minutes to installation. Only slight gripe was that when installing in a granite worktop, even with the rubbers in place the grip wasn't amazing and with a heavy hand it would still pivot in place. However does not move at all in daily use and really looks the business with the tough starlight finish Grohe boasts.Flow is much quieter and more even. If I had to be really picky, movement is slightly stiffer than some others, but not so much that it is difficult to operate. Wouldn't even consider another brand now.

Just had this installed at the same time as our Grohe BauEdge bathroom mixer tap. We wanted them to match. This is a massive step up from our old kitchen tap. It’s a solid and well made tap. The mixer mechanism is so smooth, just like its bathroom equivalent. Also, when you turn the tap off, the water stops dead. Unlike our old tap, which would constantly drip the excess water out! It is also a stylish tap which looks great. Overall a stunning tap which we are very happy with. Quick note - remember to purchase 15mm x 3/8” compression adapters for this tap as they are required. The Grohe ones are highly recommended.

got this to go with a new sink, spent ages trying to choose one and decided to with this one. fitted by plumbers. However my one gripe with this is the pressure the hot water comes out at....pathetic! no issues with pressure throughout the house. Cold water comes out fine but it has the biggest hole with the hot water coming out through a lumen surrounding the cold water one hence reduce pressure. Wish I'd known this, but this can be an issue with some mixer taps...comes with experience I suppose, but I still like it, just makes me use less hot water..takes 5 mins to fill up a basin! ;-)

Tap seems like good quality. We'll see how it fares over time. But if you're a novice plumber like me, then you need to read the other reviews. You need the adapters for UK piping. I would also add that if, like me, you have a 15mm isolator valve before the connection to the tap tails, there is no simple screw on adapter. I had to remove the isolator valve to fit the adapters. Either that or connect another short pipe from the valve before fitting the adapters. I'm sure an old hand could do this quickly but it all took me numerous attempts and hours under the sink to figure it out.

It is very well made, feels solid. The tap is very smooth when use, it feels great.I bought this to replace the one came with the new build. That one looks cheap and blocks the water flow, it becomes very tight to switch on and off recently when running hot water. The new tap solved all my problems and I would blame myself for not replacing the old one sooner.I do realise that I need adaptors for this tap after it arrives.I also bought a pair of adjustable wrenches to fix the tap, which cost more than tha tap itself.

I’ve used Grohe fittings in multiple kitchens and bathrooms, and have never yet been disappointed. We wanted something that was simple in design (modern, but not achingly so), reasonably priced, yet practical for everyday use. Installation was easy, and the fitting was high quality (according to our fitter). It looks great now fitted, cleans easily, with a nice smooth action. You can spend a fortune on a kitchen tap, but this model shows that you can still have high quality at a reasonable price.

Always used Hans Grohe taps in the house I feel you can’t beat them, nice smooth tap action and good quality chrome standard type fit ie threaded bar nut under the sink if you want a rock steady set of taps I find it best to make up a metal strap from the threaded bar underneath to the wall as many stainless steel sinks can be quite flimsy, all in all a very good tap at a good price also the flow rate is aerated so helps with the foam making for washing up ?

I made the mistake of buying an unbranded cheapo tap for my kitchen. The result was that every time you shut off the tap it carried on dribbling for 10 seconds and leaked from the base. The Grohe has a smooth action, exudes quality and the water shuts off as soon as you turn off the tap. Make sure you buy the tap adapters along with the tap. I don't know what they do but the plumber seemed to need them to install the tap.

Great tap - super smooth, arm very easy to adjust without any screws visible at all.As it is ceramic interior it should last longer in such a hard water area like london.Bear in mind you need adapters for it :)Long term Update!!!It's the best tap I have ever owned. It's been 5 years tap works as new, no lime scale buildup at all, arm is super smooth as well as tap itself it's like new. Amazing product.

Brought for mother when she had a fault with hers.Easy for the plumber to fit but note the usual need for a few connectors when fitting to existing sink and fixings, don't believe it was a big deal for him though.Good adjustability with the swivel spout.Solid build and exactly what she needed for one hand operation of temperature and flow. Not too contemporary but not too old fashioned either.

I was looking for a striking but sleek tap for my new kitchen. This is robust but has a streamlined style.Easy to use with the 1 small lever. The tap is tall enough to get buckets ,dishes etc underneath but not so high it dominates & gets in the way.Chrome finish is great water doesn't collect on it.Love it.

This was a replacement for our existing (non Grohe) Kitchen tap which broke. We have a load of Grohe taps so I bought with confidence and I'm not disappointed. It does the job, feels high quality, looks great. It is what it is. Easy to fit (with the connectors if you need them). Recommended

As yet this tap as not been fitted but just love the look and design of it , I have had severel Grohe products as have just had a new bathroom fitted but know just buying these I am buying quality ,they are not the cheapest of taps but you get what you pay for so would choose no other .

A nice tap but not sure description is accurate. (Pop up waste, no tools required???). A word of caution, the flexible 'tail'pipes attached to tap will restrict water flow. If you have a gravity fed system then this tap probably not suitable
