The game was first released on the PS/2 and Square Enix have insisted the PC version is no 'better' than that so PC players don't have advantages. This means that the UI is klunky by the standards of WOW and GW.On the other had, you don't get to max character level in 17 days played as you can in WOW.It's far harder to play than its' more glitzy competitors and requires far more team play in order to progress: no soloing to max level here, except for one job and even then it's not 100% soloable.On the other hand there's a deep, very well written story with some amazing cutscenes telling it, with a lore that Square Enix evolve in a way that Blizzard fail to do: FF lore never needs history re-writing,

Im not sure what the other reviewers were doing but after I purchased the game it was a relitively quick install, though I do admit the first patching took a while to complete but no more then 30min.There are a lot of controls and commands in the game so be sure to read the sheet provided and keep it at hand if your unsure. There is a lot of menu based actions for battle, information, logging out etc which are worth exploring to get familiar with.If your looking for quests keep in mind the point of an mmorpg is to explore and find the quests for yourself, however a basic search on google will give you all the information you need about in game quests.While you can use the mouse in game to
