Great hammer. Really satisfied. I've obviously heard reviews of Estwings and their indestructibility, but I find the hammer comfortable to use, well balanced and effective. I also really appreciate the tooth on the back for turning and torquing 2x4s into place. Great quality, would recommend. I do like the blue finish as well. I imagine I'll have this hammer until the day I die.

Bought this heavy *** hammer to beat on **** with that I don't feel like breaking my Martinez M1 hammer on this hammer is cheaper than one of the replacement heads and over twice the actual total weight good for beating on crap but I wouldn't recommend using this as a daily all day hammer elbow will get you eventually for it whether or not it's 15 or 20 yrs down the road..

I bought this hammer because I had one just like it a few years ago and loved it, cracked the first one off at the stud tooth and I believe a hairline crack in the shaft was the problem this one seems to be good so far time will tell but great framing hammer 16 inch long and great for holding studs just where they should be. Don’t expect the paint to last if you use it.

Bought this for my husband. Had seen one in Home Depot, but couldn't get it at the time. Then they didn't have any and had no plans to order any. So thank you Amazon! He loves this hammer. It is a couple ounces lighter than what he normally uses though. But that hasn't been a problem. His boss and coworkers are always asking for his hammer now.

I am finishing my basement and some of the studs are, shall we say, a wee bit curved. This hammer is awesome for straightening out the stud before you put your final nail in.

If you buy 2 X lumber you need this hammer.Nice weight and the hammertooth makes easy work of straightening out twists in studs while fastening to headers/footers.

I had to go beat on some old boards to ding this up a bit after getting it. It looks like a collector's item when brand new! Great hammer for the homeowner
