Nicely weighted upholstery tack hammer. Bought to replace another one (not same brand) which had lost its magnetism. Good value for the price. Happy with quality and quick delivery. I would flag up that I have changed the shape of the handle and stripped it of its varnish but that it is out of habit and I prefer to personalise and adapt tools for my own hands.

Perfect for the job of hammering in racks while upholstering my dining chairs. Just the right amount of magnetism to hold a tack, which then let’s go of the tack once it’s tapped slightly into the material. Spinning the hammer round to the other head to hammer the tack all the way in is easy as it’s a very light hammer. Made doing 6 chairs a breeze.

A quality name that you can trust and rely upon. Solid investment and acquisition to any tool box.Especially the neat idea of having the slot in the hammer head for easy tack removal...superb and robust.Should last a lifetime!!

If you plan on doing any form of upholstery, and will need to use tacks rather than staples, then you will without doubt need this. Its Draper so you know it wont fall apart and the stock has a good feel and balance about it

Excellent item really well balanced. Comfortable handle and excellent quality. Got my upholstery job done with ease and made me wish I had bought it earlier. Would definitely recommend it

hi the reason for this rating i am disabled and it so handy to pick up taks and nails with magnetic head, makes life trying to do small jobs much easier.cheers bnc

Nice well made tool, an essential for a hobbying upholsterer. Draper make good tools and that's why I chose this one, which I find is nice to use.

Once you use this type of hammer , you will never go back. The magnetic tip is effectively a third hand - no more bashed fingers - yea!

perfect, just reupholstered an old an very full of tacks chair with these two little helpers. much cleaner and easier than without.

Really pleased with this item, as described and has mad my job so much easier. No snooker table fitter should be without one.

Great hammer for doing upholstery, nice smooth handle and good magnet to get hold off tacks would buy another one.

This hammer holds the tacks well is comfortable to use and was a great price, couldn’t ask for more than that.
