Bought this to give to my brother in law who is useless at DIY and currently has a hammer that is also a pair of pliers and a screwdriver multi tool.This hammer is pretty small, and would be better suited for tapping in rawlplugs or smaller nails or pins into softwood rather than anything heavy duty. It is only eight ounces. Half the size of a normal claw hammer.Attached is a comparative picture of this hammer next to a twenty ounce Estwing and a new Stanley 20oz'er

There's not much you can say about a hammer, however this hammer is light weight feels comfortable to hold not too heavy, feels value for money for the odd job around the house nothing major otherwise the performance could be less.

Really nicely balanced weighted hammer in the meantime I found the one I thought was last forever but found this new one lighter to use and the handle easier to grip so worth a 5 star rating and the price is excellent too.

Purchased this hammer to replace an old one. This is a quality hammer for home/DIY small jobs. It is well made, very good quality and feels good in the hands. Well worth the pennies.

Light, easy to use and with a decent grip. Certainly not designed for hammering six inch masonry nails into the wall, but great for more general use.

It’s a hammer and it does as advertised. Children pyrographed on the handle for Father’s Day. Have to admit I’m no hammer expert.
