Was really surprised how nice & thin & light this brick hammer is. Nice wide tip.great feel in your hand.as only 16oz. My only gripe would be will go blunt. That’s why always had a flat replacement head ,, tip on my old brick hammer. But not a big problem as can file it.this hammer as a whole far out weighs that minor issue. Great product ??

It’s a nice hammer. I had to sharpen it once I got it, but that is expected. I’ve used it for the last month, cutting brick and Colorado buff sand stone. It has kept its edge pretty well! And it has a very comfortable/shock exorbitant handle

These are amazing rock hammers! I am a geologist and have had one in my belt for 18 years. I have never had a complaint with it. I just bought this one for my niece as her very first rock hammer! Hopefully she gets addicted!

Great handle to absorb the shock, and good for chipping away mortar from old bricks. Would recommend a 32 oz hammer for that type of work as more momentum is needed to separate bricks from the mortar.

It's great for chipping off concrete as well as splitting rock. Estwing is always the best. It is just the right weight and construction to be easy in the hand and maximize power to the head.

We got this lighter one for the kids and it worked out great. They are not cheap. They are high quality tools that you can depend on.

Great hammer, and definitely estwing quality. I use it for collecting minerals, and it’s really comfortable and well balanced.

Nicely forged rock hammer. Use it for splitting smaller stones for dry-stack wall building.

Bit lightweight could really done with a slightly heavy one but still gets the job done

Great masonry hammer when doing brick/stone and don’t need a gigantic hammer
