Yes, of course I love the quality of the prints this machine produces, they are excellent. As a designer, and an Apple MAC user, I need very accurate colour reproduction and great quality prints. Compatible inks never match Pantone colours. Epson it seems, go hand-in hand with Apple. However, like almost everyone else, I have been blown away by the cost of the inks in this model.Epson seem to have designed the 8 cartridge system to supposedly make replacing just 1 colour more economical for the user. But, let me tell you what an official Epson call-out engineer told me just 2 weeks after I bought my printer. Most of you probably know this already but, it's worth saying again.Every time you change just one cartridge,

The quality of the prints using these inks, the Epson R800 printer and semi glossy Epson paper are fantastic and beat prints from any from the high steet stores.True, the price for a mere 13cc of ink in each cartridge is too high. Previous posts just demonstrate that insufficient research was done to identify the true cost of operating this printerWe can only hope that the kind folk at Epson have a pricing policy re-think in the near future or extend the bulk pack deals available for the cheaper products to the high end ink sales.

This is an excellent printer, it replaces my Epson 3000 A3 printer, and is a big step forward. Excellent quality prints on photo paper, fast, quiet, and occupies three quarters of the space on my desk as the previous machine. I do a lot of photo printing, and am pleased that with this printer, I can put a stack of heavyweight photo paper in the feeder and let it carry on. The only caveat I have is that the ink cartridges look small, but there are 8 of them! So time will tell.

I have used Epson original ink for many years butas money has got shorter I decided to try a compatibleink from another manufacturer.Unfortunately the inkdid not work at all well in my Epson printer and it hadto be replaced as it repeatedly blocked the ink jets.Maybe I was unlucky but will not make this mistakeagain.

Although I still think cartridges are too expensive, these were the best value "original" ones available. Have had bad experiences with compatible cartridges, so will not buy them anymore.

Reluctantly and despite what may be an extortionate cost, I am concluding that the Printer Manufacturer may supply the most reliable cartridges for their machines!

Always use Epson ink, they are a little bit more expensive, but using cheap ones I have found to my cost is false economy and epson inks are always top quality

I always use this supplier when I require ink replacements,,,reason cost / delivery/ and product quality...Inks are always expensive but this is the best ..

Product was as advertised I was concerned that would be a cheap replacement but I should not have worried as it original spec, Delivery was on time.

Epson ink cartridges are the most expensive but they are the best. The way the price goes up they are a better investment than gold

I have only used Epson ink on this semi pro printer and continue to be very happy.Arrived on time and well packed

A good genuine product that does exactly what you would expect. But I have to say that it's on the pricy side.
