Brilliant is probably the best word to describe it. It's a tough little fella and does indeed go down stairs without breaking unlike the other BB8's you can buy, the range on the controller is quite long too so you can operate it from a long way away. The sounds are clear and loud and the drive works well on carpets. It's very simple to set up, the battery in the controller is a 9v square battery and not 2xAA's as some descriptions have. The kids love it (and so do I ... hours of fun)Tips for setting up.Remember to inflate the thing after you have attached the drive unit and not to try it after , oh and one last thing, don't try and pair the unit to the controller when you are next to a wireless mouse or keyboard etc.

I love, love, love this! He is really easy to put together and just as cute as the real bb8 when in motion. I'm 30 and me and my parents and brother have all enjoyed playing with him!

My loved it for all of 5mins and now it lives in the cupboard. It was really good quality and the service was great. I would say it went better on hard wood floors than carpet.

Love my BB8. He fits in very well with the family!! The kids love that he can happily go downstairs on his own!! Everyone plays with him and chats to him.

Great, arrived really quickly amd my husband loves it! He'd recommend reading the instructions before inflating it though.

Brilliant fun! The remote was faulty on our first one, but we returned it and are very happy with the replacement.

Fab , kids think amazing. easy to put up. remotes work well, can use two at a time. for racing and fighting.
