Just a quick review to hopefully encourage parents of young girls to buy this, as I think it's a sweet game.I was looking for a first 'real' game for my 4 (almost 5) year old daughter to play. Like most of her age, she is obsessed by Disney princesses, so this looked perfect. I was bracing myself for disappointment (assuming that the gameplay would be too complex for her) but I was pleasantly surprised.I loved the fact that the tasks to perform (mostly to zap the naughty imps with a magic wand) are so simple, and the mini-puzzles (e.g. jigsaws, dancing and 'breakout') are perfectly suited to the young age.I also thought that the control system (using a nunchuck) was perfect for little ones.Even better, I liked the fact that I could help my daughter by each of us having one of these controllers (e.g. she has main remote to do spells, and I do the moving with the nunchuck). This gave us some 'co-operative play' together. It's a nice bonding experience between parent and child - perhaps too difficult for many younger girls to play purely on their own (no help from adult), but not too boring for adults to enjoy playing with their child.Another thing that is good is that the story is clearly spoken by a nice voice, rather than assuming that the game player can read. Obviously its target audience is so young that they cannot read complex words, but I though the narration was perfect.I also liked the fact that the game is split into 8 separate chapters. Each takes about 30 minutes, which is the perfect attention span for a 4-5 year old. If I was being mean, I could say that this means that the entire game can be completed in about 4 hours of solid gameplay, but that's harsh. It's a nice and sweet game for the young, and I thoroughly recommend it.Nowadays it's so cheap, I think it's a bargain!

Can I just first start in stating that I was 41 when I acquired this game and that I was attracted to its glitzy appeal. I must also add that I have the PC version so loading times are non existent and the graphics stunning even for an older game. I have played this quite a few times and although I am aware it is actually for young girls I do like it.It is a bit short, but the missions quite straight forward. It makes a change from the first person shooters which can be great but not if I am in a 'squeaky clean' mood.It is not only a lot of fun but not hard at all. The only distractions is the US english which is lazy and annoying and the pop ups are too numerous and cannot be disabled.I wouldrecommend this game to any age group but primarily for younger females.

We bought this for our 5 yr old daughter.Being a particularly girlie girl, she relishes the chance to dress up her character and visit princesses.It is easy to master and requires the Wii controller and nunchuk to play.I think the only down side is the fact my daughter completed it within a week of us buying it for her. And no, she does not spend hours gaming (like most little girls, she's just too busy!).She does love going back into each chapter and locating all the chests and opening them to find new items. We don't quite get where you 'buy new items' or what the people diamonds you go round collecting do... But over all, a good buy and our little girl loves it.Just wish there was a bit more to or a few more chapters per princess portal.

I ask my 6 year old to help out his little sister with this game as she finds it a bit difficult to work the controls. She's only just turned four and she mainly enjoys watching him navigate the different worlds for each princess. I think he secretly enjoys it though as he doesn't complain too much! It would be good if they had a few boy characters too but the game itself is excellent. The princesses have to explore different worlds and do missions. Great fun!

This was bought for my daughter for Christmas. She is only just 7 & has played this game every day since opening up. It does require the use of the Wii controller & num chuck so both hands required. I would not suggest this for any child under 5 as it requires concentration & coordination for a lot of the games. My husband & I have worryingly found ourselves wanting to get hold of the controllers & play it for her!!

Bought this for my 6 year old daughter - she LOVES it - it took just a few minutes for her to get used to the various controls and moves. The tasks are not too difficult - but not too easy either. She loves that even though the instructions are written on the screen - there is also a narrator telling you what to do so this makes it easier for her. We haven't tried with two players yet but so far so good!

I purchased this item as a surprise for my daughter, and also as her first game on Wii. She loves it so much, that I now have to play on it most of the time, so she learns the moves :) the game is nice, suitable for a 5-year old, with quests and rewards. I am not that happy about the graphics, but that's what most Wii games suffer from.

Bought this as Xmas gift for 4 year old daughter, she loves it!! She does need a little help sometimes from us, it's not too complicated, it's usually the wii controls that's hold her back a little. Perfect for any little disney princes fan. Glad I bought this and it's a reasonable price too.

It was a Christmas present for my five year old girl and she loves it, finds the controls slightly difficult as this is her first computer game so using both hands for different things is tricky but with a bit of help she gets it done. Overall she loves it and loves the characters and scenes.

Took this to my grand daughter's when we went to visit. She loved it and was straight into the game, the game looked challenging enough for a 5 yr old, but this was no problem for her and she really enjoyed it. Definately recommend as it gave her hours and hours of fun.

Oh how much my daughter loves this Wii game(s)! She is 4 years old and really enjoys playing it. It took her a short while to get used to the controls but after some perseverance she's got the hang of it and now asks to play every day! A good, cheap buy!

I bought for my daughter when she was 3; now she almost 5 and she loves it; from time to time she plays with it even though she already finished, but she plays the Little Mermaid story again and again.Easy to play with and the pad is great for children.

The graphics are amazing. I'm not a big fan of the narrator's voice, and the characters mostly wander around and use their wands or jump and hide from things to level up, but it keeps my 5-year-old daughter happy for a few minutes.

My daughter's 5 and everything is Disney Princess at the moment. She really enjoys this game, I have to help her sometimes as it's her first game really, but she's getting better and it's clear and easy to control.
