Our organisation bought these and they are terrible! A complete failure in design and implementation of technology.1. The Thunderbolt cable is on the wrong side for some of the newer machines (7710 series) so plugging it is is a pain (this is just another symptom of Dell's stupid idea to put all the connection ports on the side of their workstations!)2. It will give you a warning message about not being able to power a machine with more than 130w... even if it says it is rated to 240w, so you have to ignore the warning message and then hope it is charging and not ruining your battery. (don't listen to the advice that you just have to upgrade your firmware, that does not resolve the message)3.
