Easy to use, easy to clean. My old financier tray was a metal one - and a right nightmare to scrub because of all the little corners. This silicone (or rather, 'Elastomoule') one solves that problem. It's quite small - slightly smaller than a piece of A4 paper.'Financiers' are little rectangular cakes similar to Madaleines, but sweeter (taking recipe variance into account).If the special someone in your life has a baking fetish and a big enough kitchen to house all the gadgets etc., you might well find that this is the one thing that they haven't yet got!
