I've used a few Beckham fragrances in the past, they're okay for everyday wear as they don't seem to last very long. Not tried this one before so thought I'd give it a go as I'm low on fragrances at the moment.With this set you get a 40ml fragrance and a 200ml shower gel for around £12 which I suppose is about it's money. The fragrance is of the darker variety, so slightly musky and this one is a tad woody. Having applied it first thing in a morning I find it doesn't really last, but then I've come to expect that from cheaper fragrances. I've just gotten into the habit of putting something on each morning after shaving so the cheaper ones work well for this.

This is a perfect gift set for any man, young or old, we were surprised at the great value for money - for just over £11 you're getting a quality Beckham scent and a shower gel.My partner recently tried all of David Beckhams' scents in Boots and the winner for him was Homme, closely followed by Respect and Instinct was his third favourite just basing it on his personal tastes. I really like the smell of Respect on him too and seems to last quite a while and is subtle and not too overpowering. I would also have chosen Respect as this is my favourite scent out of the whole range.The set itself contains a 30ml fragrance and a 200 ml shower gel in a smart box.

This is a rather nice gift set to give to a male friend, boyfriend or relative for Christmas or for a birthday. Attractively packaged in an elegant gift box, it consists of a 40ml spray bottle of David Beckham Respect Eau De Toilette and 200ml of shower gel.The spray bottle is handsomely designed in glass with a silver lid and would look good sitting either on a shelf or dressing table. My husband really likes the scent of this Eau De Toilette, it has a citrus top note (there is also definitely a hint of herbs somewhere in there) which fades to a light woody scent and has good staying power. My husband sprays it on after his morning shower and it lasts most of the day.The shower gel has the same scent although lighter and more subtle.

A cardboard box containing two male toiletry items from the David Beckham range of these. The box can be opened and re-sealed easily. The two items are in a plastic tray inside.First we have a 40ml bottle of natural spray. The bottle is glass. There's a steel top which has to be unscrewed, and then you spray the contents by pressing the bottle top. It does produce a natural spray that feels sharp and cleansing, and has a sharp but clear and decent smell.The shower gel is in a 200ml plastic tube, opened at the bottom, and it seals up again nicely. It does give a very good lather very quickly when used, and it does a good job of cleaning the skin as well.There's a lot of products out there like this,

Even though Senor Beckham has long since retired from slicing balls all over the place, his business juggernaut continues. This latest fragrance pays homage to the latest trend in football - "respect". I've often wondered what respect smells like - is is the aftermath tinge of shame after playing a hurtful prank on a friend, or is it some innate odour you only earn when dealing with your elders and betters? Whatever it is, David has captured its essence and squeezed it into a jar for you to purchase. Now wherever you go, heads will turn, nay, heads will bow, as you pass through - leaving a sense of awe in your wake. Not only does this set provide an aftershave, but a before shave (shower gel)

The eau de toilette description offers a gin and tonic with a hint of lime scent etc. Not sure why anyone would want to smell of Gin and Tonic but in the event the Eau de toilette which comes in a smart bottle, ideal for traveling, has a lovelyfragrance with a little hint of Gin but also some lovely added spices to give a really fresh aroma. Long lasting, which for me is key and at a rock bottom price, this can be highly recommended. The shower gel is also excellent.

I quite liked the smell of this EDT. Sadly it lacked staying power and faded pretty quickly. The shower gel is a generous size and although subtle the smell does linger.This gift set contains a 40ml EDT and a 200ml shower gel and is let down by a cheap looking and flimsy box.That said it doesn't cost much so as with most 'Celebrity' type gift sets you get what you pay for and the name will sell it.

The usual bland gift set packaging - a flimsy card box with plastic front. I do with manufacturers would put a little more effort into the design of gift sets - this one arrived crushed.The set contains David Beckham Respect cologne and shower gel and the fragrance is perfectly nice, although not really very long lasting.A good stocking filler for Christmas, but please improve the packaging

My son is a huge Beckham fan and loved the cologne, so this seemed a natural purchase for him. It comes with a small bottle of EDT and shower gel, both of which are in elegant and understated packaging and have a familiar, masculine scent that my son really likes. It is a good looking box set and makes a very simple Xmas gift which is very reasonalby priced for such a popular brand name.

The pack contains DB Respect 40ml EDT and 200ml shower gel.EDT - Nice, clean, fresh pleasant smell but it doesn't last very long. Good for an everyday fragrance, but prefer a heavier, longer lasting fragrance for going out. Nice bottle (mist spray) and actually a cheap price considering that the bottle alone (40ml) retails for £15-20. (depending on current offers).

Well packaged is my first impression here. The Beckham brand is always popular among many young men and this shower gel:ENT pack will make a great Christmas present for which it’s cleanly aimed at. The frangrance is good very “manly”. Doesn’t last that long. But that’s alright. For me the shower gel is excellent. Cleans well and afterwards I did feel very refreshed.

There are several scents in the DB range and I think this is perhaps my favourite. They are a lot nicer and last better than the price tag might suggest though they lack the complexity of some of the more upmarket brands. The shower gel is really effective and doesn’t dry my skin too much. Combined at the current price this is a great little gift set.

The scent is very masculine. I really like itI think it is good value – you get 40 ml of eau de toilette and a 200ml shower gel. The scent in the gel is strong – you do not need to use much of it.Price at time of review: £11.99.I give it five stars as I like the scent, and the price is very good. 40ml is not much but a little goes a long way.

I bought this product as a little gift for my boyfriends for Valentine’s Day, it’s got such s beautiful smell and last for ages, product came quickly and I m plenty of time.

A good stocking filler or gift for the older teenager or young man. The scents of the gel and the aftershave are pleasant and masculine. My son is well pleased.
