I occasionally search online for products that may help my eczema prone skin and I came across this - although it does not advertise itself for eczema, it was mentioned on many websites to be highly effective for eczema and generally dry skin.I have been using this shower oil for around a month now and I have to say, I think my eczema has responded very well to it. I had tiny flare ups on my wrists which have vanished now and I also get flare ups on the backs of my knees, although it hasn't took the itch away like I would have hoped. It's taken away the redness and inflammation that you get with eczema. I wouldn't say it can be used solely on it's own to manage eczema as I still have to moisturise for my skin to feel one hundred percent,

This Atoderm Shower oil soothes and protects dry skin, it comes in a hygienic pump dispenser, which I like, making it easy to use. It contains skin restoring glycerine, and niacinamide (vitamin B3) along with some good emollient cleansing agents from coconut fatty acids. It also contains cell-communicating rhamnose, and antioxidant vitamin E, and C, and while these are good to see in the formula, they’re of little value in a rinse off product like this shower oil.Although described as an oil, this feels silky and does foam slightly on contact with water, leaving the skin feeling comfortable. It does contain added fragrance, which could be an issue if you have extra sensitive skin,

I have very sensible skin, even the water temperature can cause me irritation and normal shower soaps made my skin very dry and itchy - regardless of the brand. I have been using this product for the past year or so, it took a while for my skin to adjust to the product - I initially thought it was not working - but after the 3rd or 4th use I noticed that my skin did not get as irritated as it used to be. Now I rarely have any skin reaction after a shower.You may need a couple extra pumps of product than what you would think however, bare in mind that it will not create a large amount of foam. The smell is nice,

Where is fell short was it felt a little greasy, which I did not like. after drying myself It felt like there was a film layer on my skin...I'm sure this is to protect the skin, but it wasn't something I could tolerate.

When I originally reviewed this product a couple of months ago, I scored it 3* as I wasn't particularly impressed that it didn't have the desired effect on my body and my skin was still dry after showering.So I then began to use it as a hand wash instead and now I'm giving it 5*.You might think this is too expensive to use as a hand wash, but for me it's absolutely worth it. I'm no longer having to endure the irritating dry skin and painful cracks that quickly appear on my hands from just about every brand of liquid hand wash on the planet.

Nice big bottle. Smells quite good but not perfumed so good for sensitive skin. It's more like an oil wash than a gel, and it does lather a little but not enough to create bubbles.Didn't particularly help my Keratosis Polaris, using a moisturiser is more effective after showering than using this was.I won't be buying it again as it wasn't for me as I travel a lot and the bottle is more suited to sitting in a bathroom than a wash bag. That said, if it came in smaller bottles I still wouldn't bother.

I love this product. For me, the big advantage is the large, very practical bottle, which lasts for months and months and you don’t have to think you’re out of shower gel again. Its base is very stable and it never topples over and spills. Also, the dispenser is very practical and hygienic, you don't have some of the product running on the bottle. It’s a big plus the product is for sensitive skin as well.Update: it lasted 8 months with heavy use from two people. I’m ordering another one

Every year I get dry patches up my arms around the same time of year, I have been using this in shower oil for the last 2 months and I have no dry patches whatsoever.Before using, I would come out of the shower and throw on loads of moisturiser and now I do sometimes but if I skip the moisturiser I don't feel like my skin is thirsty anymore.It is an oil, but it doesn't leave skin oily in any way, there is absolutely no residue and is just so great for sensitive skin

I'm clearly not alone with the "broken cap" situation. I managed to transfer the soap to another container I had, but I wish the supplier would be more careful when packaging. Apart from that, the product is very good. My skin seems to like it, the texture is awesome and it's not too strongly scented for my taste. It doesn't lather too much, so if you're a bubble bath type of person I would get something else. Will probably buy again once I finish this giant bottle!

Bioderma seems to be on-point with their wash formulas. This one is no exception.I have frequent allergic reactions to food, toiletries and airborne particles, which bring me out in painful hives and rashes, and which worsen my asthma. This shower oil helps to sooth skin irritations and causes no allergic reactions. It cleanses in a very gentle way whilst being effective. It’s my go-to travel shower oil and facial cleanser, as hotel toiletries can be hit or miss.

A nice shower gel/oil. Doesn't dry out skin compared to any other drugstore shower gel. It has kind of oily consistency so it won't lather much, has a very gentle baby-oil like smell. Overall a good product, I have noticed my skin being in a slightly better condition, although still dry but that's due to hard water not the product. Received with the pump partially broken but the product itself is ok. Will lasts forever, I may consider rebuying in the future.

Really enjoyed this product - I felt like my skin was a total mess before I started using it. I don’t agree with other reviewers about strong perfume. It may be personal but I am also super-sensitive - especially having worked in wine industry which means we are not able to wear strong fragrances. I’d definitely consider buying it again - and happily recommend it. Having said this you may wish to consult your doctor about the ingredients for you personally.

I wash my baby a lot because she is still not potty trained as she dont want to do that at all... so this washing oil is amazing for us. It makes the skin really soft and it does not get dry even if i have to give a quick shower to my girl for 5 times a day. I am very happy about this product. I have been using bioderma production for a long time, but this shower oil i bought for the first time, and i absolutely love it.

Bought this because i already use their Atoderm body lotion and its excellent. I love the smell of this and its not overpowering. It doesnt give as much foam as you get from a normal shower gel but thats because its a different formula obviously designed to be kinder to skin. I really like it. Pump action great for shower and when combined with the body creme you really are good to go for a decent 25 hour period.

Was given this initially as a present and love it as not full of all the Nasty chemicals! The bottle is really quite big! Sits and looks good on the side of the bath and because it is rather heavy it is sturdy and doesn’t move around a lot! Bottle lasts for months and months and you only need a little to do the job! Smell is nice but not too over powering which I like! Will continue to keep buying it
