I like Weleda products, they have been a reputable range, untested on animals, and with mainly botanical ingredients, available in health shops for many decades, long before it became a commercial selling point to state companies abjured animal testing and long before companies using a string of synthetics would advertise the 'natural ingredients' in big, bold, because it is now a selling point, - and keep the unnatural in small print on the box for the dedicated to pursue with magnifying glasses. This, as stated is a creamy wash, not a bubbles and foam one, which may be kinder to our drains, and is certainly soft and non-drying on the skin. Those who equate foamy with feeling clean may initially feel disappointed. The botanicals listed are (including the pomegranate) the pressed, seed oils, so the wash does not have a pomegranate aroma. I am though surprised that the aromatics listed in the product description are not detailed on the contents, only the chemistry of compounds which IFRA, the fragrance industry, has determined may be skin sensitisers. These can be synthetic isolates, or as here, naturally occurring within botanicals. Those compounds are indicated, on the listing, as 'from natural essential oils'. This sounds like a pedantic quibble, from me, but I'm a bit confused/nonplussed to NOT find the essential oils themselves listedThis contains no animal product either - eg something like honey, so is suitable for vegans

I love Weleda products and I trust them to use on myself and my children. This citrus creamy body wash has a lovely fresh citrus scent and it is so creamy it's like using a body lotion. I have very sensitive skin so the fact that all of the ingredients are natural is a real plus. I also have dry skin due to a medical condition so it's important the body wash I use does not contain harmful chemicals that further dry my skin out that many mainstream body washes contain. Once you start researching these chemicals you will find that many of them are irritants and dry out your skin. These include parabens, synthetic colors, fragrance, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) /sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), Formaldehyde and toluene; none of which are used in any of Weleda's products. As a result it doesn't have a great lather but that's because it doesn't contain SLS (which they also put in most toothpastes! Yuck!). This doesn't bother me and I still feel clean and refreshed.I have been using this body wash for over a month and there is still loads left in the bottle so it seems to last well. It is more expensive being double the cost of a lot of other products but I generally find you have to pay more for natural and/or organic products that do not have the aforementioned chemicals in them. For me it is worth the money.

I am a big Weleda fan I have used their products for at least 30 years and that is because of their policies of being kind to the environment long before it was a mainstream concern.Their products are not tested on animals nor do they contain any kind of nasty chemicals or toxins. The body wash lathers up well but not over the top. Users who have only recently converted may think it is mean on the lather but all you need to get clean is in there. Just no excessive lather which were made with chemicals you do not want on your skin. The cosmetic and toiletries industry giants have been getting away with too many dodgy ingredients for too long. It is good to see more and more interest taken by consumers.Weleda having been in business for ages are one of the companies to be trusted. We all have different favourite smells. I wanted to find out what pomegranate would smell like as a body wash and for me it’s a no.Even though I did not like the smell I had no bad reaction to the product. My skin and body are super sensitive and I have to avoid all chemical made perfumes. Everything in this product is natural I just prefer the other fragrances in the body wash range. This is a good product so four stars even though technically I don’t like it, that is just my personal taste. I can’t think of anything to compare it too either.

Weleda produce a range of lovely body washes and I was very pleased to be offered their Lavender creamy body wash to try out. I hadn't seen it before - although I know they have a lavender bath milk (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Weleda-Lavender-Relaxing-Bath-200ml/dp/B000ORV15C) which I buy occasionally and enjoy very much. The Lavender creamy body wash was much as I expected it to be, a runny white liquid which foams gently on application and leaves my clean and not too dry. The lavender scent is a gently herbaceous lavender smell - really very like lavender bushes and it was very pleasant but not my favourite of the body washes.I would buy the Weleda Sea Buckthorn creamy body wash (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Weleda-Buckthorn-Creamy-Body-200ml/dp/B000ORSY3Y/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1485082193&sr=1-1&keywords=weleda+sea+buckthorn+body+wash) and float in the scent of oranges. This is all a matter of taste and if you haven't used this product before and would like to try it and want to find your favourite scent I can recommend this mini travel pack (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MRJU3GZ/ref=sr_1_cc_1_a_it?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1485082313&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=weleda+body+wash+gift+pack).

This is the second Weleda Creamy Body Wash that I have tried. As their standard body wash packaging, it comes in a flip-and-click top tube which which is convenient to use in the shower. The wash has a single cream-like consistency like single cream but a bit more elasticity and it is not drippy. When smoothed over wet skin it changes to a milk-like quality that is satiny and not sticky. It does not produce a thick lather. It is easy to rinse away. The smell doesn't hit me as pomegranate. It has a citrusy scent with an underlying light, sweet honey. The tube describes it as having "fragrances of orange, davana and vanilla". It's not unpleasant but I prefer the Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash by Weleda. The aroma of this Pomegranate body wash is a bit too indeterminate for me.I have had no irritation problems after using the wash. My skin has not felt dry after using it. It's pleasant to use and feels refreshing. On the front of the tube it says that the fluid contains organic pomegranate seed oil; on the back of the tube it mentions also sesame oil. I like the fresh, smooth feel of the two Weleda creamy body washes I've tried but I am not taken by the smell of this pomegranate version.

I love this Wild Rose Creamy Body Wash, it feels so luxurious and smells absolutely divine. Weleda use a whole heap of nourishing ingredients in this body wash including …• Sesame seed oil• Rosa moschata seed oil• Rosa damascene extract• Various essential oils• And moreThe body wash comes in a large 200ml deep pink plastic tube with a white flip up top which works cleanly and releases just the right amount through a small hole. This body wash is a thick clear and very fragrant gel, it cleans well and leaves your skin beautifully moisturised and delicately fragranced. It is recommended that you rub the body wash gently into damp skin and rinse off with warm water. The nice thing about this product is that although it is fairly expensive a little goes a long way and it really did seem to do my 'ageing' skin some good.I have been using this twice weekly (it is a little too expensive to use as a daily product) on a Friday and Sunday evening when I spend a little time pampering myself in the bathroom … you know the type of thing … face pack, hair mask, pedicure and manicure and now a luxurious body wash.Other products in this range include:

This is a nice body wash that doesn't go for the big lather effect but instead is creamy and kinda silky. A little goes a long way, I find, so it's quite cost effective. I have no idea what pomegranates smell like, but to me this smells a bit like watermelon - fresh without being too lemony or orangey. It's a matter of personal taste, of course, but I like the scent. It's quite noticeable just after use, but fades quickly enough that it won't clash with any other products or scents you might want to use. Fellow reviewer Lady Fancifull is happy about the naturalness of the ingredients and she knows her stuff, so that's good enough for me.The main thing for me with any body wash is whether it dries out my skin. This is actually quite moisturising, and the moisturising effect lasts well. Just to test it, I washed one arm with this, and the other arm with a nice glycerin soap, and several hours later, the pomegranated arm still felt considerably softer and smoother to the touch, with no tightness. A noticeable difference - nice! And it comes just as it is - no pointless excess packaging. I'd happily buy this again.

A gorgeous creamy body wash that smells strongly of real, natural lavender. After being disappointed by a couple of other lavender-scented products from other brands that didn't smell like the real things, this was a refreshing change. I like the level of lather; it's definitely foamy enough for me to wash and shave my legs etc. If you don't find it foamy enough, I would recommend using this body wash with a sponge, which makes it lather up much more.I am just really happy to be using natural products from a company that cares about nature. The fragrance (usually listed as 'parfum') is also specified as being from natural essential oils. The ingredients listed are as follows: Water (Aqua),Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Coco-Glucoside, Alcohol, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Glycerin, Carrageenan, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Geraniol*. *from natural essential oilsBe careful, the lid doesn't always close properly unless you are quite firm with it, and it can leak if it hasn't clicked shut fully.

I wasn't sure how what this would be like when I first got it. I'm not familiar with the smell of sea buckthorn and the only 'creamy' body wash I've really used is the Dove shower creme. So I was pretty surprised with how nice this was to use.It was a little weird at first - the cream is a little bit like sun lotion in terms of colour and consistency. It's coloured a kind of light orangey-beige and smells refreshing and herby. It lathers up nicely despite being thicker on application than, say, shower gels and as a result I don't find myself using too much of it. The tube will last about two months' worth of (mostly) daily showers at my rate of usage. It leaves the skin nicely scented and soft and supple but it can take a longer while to wash off than body soap or gels.Overall I'd happily recommend this and would continue to use it.Pros:* Smells nice* Lathers well* Feels great* Leaves skin feeling soft* Lasts longer than gels in my usageCons:* Takes longer to wash off* Feels a little odd rubbing something that looks like sun cream on your skin* Slightly off-putting colour

I don’t really know what type of plant a Sea Buckthorn is but I do know that when using this Body Wash I can smell the oranges, mandarins and grapefruit and it makes a luxurious scent that is relaxing and not overly invigorating. So perfect for bedtime showers. It is describes as revitalising, which I hadn’t read when I first used it and it still feels to me as more of a feel good and nourishing oil. These Creamy Body washes are just that. Very creamy and you don’t need to use as much as you think you will. I wasted too much of my Lavender body wash before the penny dropped that this product goes a long way and so works out as more affordable than I first estimated. It would be a lovely gift for anyone who is aware and caring about what products they put on their skin.Welled are now well known for their quality product range that does not include the use of chemicals at all. It is safe for humans and planet friendly too. Also makes me feel happy when I use it even more than the lavender my previous favourite.

The Weleda creamy body wash comes in a flip-and-click top tube which makes it easy to use the wash in the shower. It has a fresh, clean rose scent which is noticeable in the shower but not overbearing and is very delicate once out of the shower and dried. It is more hedgerow roses than a garden floribunda rose. I think this is a scent that can be used by men and women because it is ‘countryside’ rather than ‘flower-garden’.The fluid has a consistency of single cream but the small hole of the tube makes it easy to control when using. It doesn’t squirt out all over the place. The wash does not create a huge lather with the hard water where I live but it does make a fine, milky coating over the skin and feels very nice. It is pleasant to use and I found my dry skin feels more supple than it usually does after a shower. It has not caused me any irritation or blotchiness at all. I am very pleased with the product. It smells quite luxurious and feels better on my skin than I was expecting. It’s a pleasure to use.

This is billed as a real natural product, made with mineral cleansers. It came in a large - 200ml - tube which gave the appearance of being fairly plain but with a pretty sea buckthorn spray on the packaging. In the shower it foamed up well and the resultant foam was soft and creamy on the skin. It gave a very good wash with a small application of the body wash. It left the skin feeling luxuriant and very well nourished for a shower wash with no tightness or irritation. This feeling lasted several hours. The information stated the perfume was light citrus - mandarin and grapefruit but I could not determine those scents myself. I got a fairly sweet but not very fresh scent which was okay but not entirely to my taste. My daughter tried it and said she got a faint whiff of orange but very faint.A nice body wash but not exceptional. The scent really didn't do it for me and at £7.94 list price or £5.05 currently for 200 ml not expensive but not a bargain either.

Weleda Lavender Creamy Body Wash is beautiful to use body wash which provides a lovely lavender scented body wash. I love the natural scent of lavender compared to other body washes which have been labelled natural lavender yet not smelling anything like it.I love how it provides a really luxury wash as it leaves my skin looking and feeling silky soft.Weleda has been producing natural holistic products from 1921 which not only leaves you looking good but their holistic approach concentrates on the well-being of their customers.I love this range as it makes me feel good when using it as the fragrance really enters my separate senses with the added bonus of the luxury of the product which not only washes my skin,it has the added advantage of leaving my skin looking and feeling at its best.Happy to recommend the Weleda Lavender Creamy Body Wash as it really has the gorgeous creamy texture which progresses to a creamy foam, simply a pleasure to use.

Fantastic, creamy, orangey smell that is sure to wake you up of a morning, especially when nothing short of a foghorn will normally do the trick-oh wait-is that just me..? Ah well.Picture this; sleepily, groggily you make you way to the bathroom. It's cold outside, and you dread Monday mornings. You climb into the shower, and reach for your yummy Weleda Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash and squirt some into your hands. As the sharp, but not overpowering, bursts of citrus explodes in your nostrils, you are suddenly ALERT and AWAKE-as though a fiesta of oranges has tumbled over your noggin'!Okay, okay-maybe I exaggerated a little, but this shower wash really is gorgeous, and it does wake you up.It cleanses you in all the right places-and most importantly of all-it has nothing bad in here- AT ALL. I trust these products, and I am a regular user of many of the items Weleda makes. so, if I put it on my body, lets just say, its great!

As I opened this initially I was impressed with the natural scented rose smell and I squeezed a bit onto my hands and washed my hands in this as I couldn't wait to try it out. It didn't lather up a lot but did feel nice and creamy and once rinsed my hands smelled rosy and didn't feel dried out at all but I did treat them to my Melvita Rose hand cream to layer my rose smelling goodies. When using it in the bath I save this for special relaxing night baths when I can smother myself in the cream and then lie back and let it soak off which makes the bath water smell slightly rosy too. I am not sure I would use this if I had been out gardening and wanted a really good clean. This gives a gentle sweet smelling creamy wash which leaves my whole body feeling clean and not at all dried out.It is not quite as moisturising as using Lush's Ro's Argan but more like their Turkish Delight bath cream but with a little more lathering quality.
