Of the 3 'Man Cave' mens toiletry products I ordered this Cedarwood Shower Gel is easily my favourite.It has what I can only describe as a masculine scent, which is slightly lingering. A masculine fragrance in a shower gel that's as good as in an aftershave is rare in my experience and so I approve of the effort the makers of this product have gone to to distinguish it from other brands in this way.What I also liked was the fact that it foamed up well in the shower. This is something I find is usually sacrificed in mens shower gels in favour of a scent and/or a tingling sensation, but this foams up more than adequately.In my opinion this shower gel compares favourably to my usual brands ('Botanics for Men'

The packaging is practical with the list of ingredients easy to read, the cap is strong and won`t pop open in your gym bag.It is also reassuring to know this is not tested on animals, as shown by the Leaping Bunny logo.On first opening the top fragrance we noticed was that of honey with spices, very warm and comforting in a mellow way. There is enough lather from a small amount, about the size of a ten pence coin, to clean the whole body without having the shower plug blocked up by chemically enhanced additives. It leaves the skin feeling comfortably soft and very fresh, the fragrance only lasts while in use but that`s fine. My son has sensitive skin and he had no issues with this,

I ordered this shower gel. For some reason, i haven't come across them yet. I used it only twice so it is an early review.Pros- It is vegan-friendly, so no harm on animals- I love the smell myself and gf happy as well- Manly scent? well, it is. Manly enough to take the axe and do some outdoor works but manly enough to put on the suit and go to the theatre. A sophisticated manly perhaps.- I already see it will last long. Probably because of the oil-based nature of this product you only need a small quantity.- Washes away nice and quick- Doesn't dry my sensitive skin.Cons (which aren't really cons, just different from the usual)- The product doesn't foam so well.

This stuff does a great job of keeping your skin moisturised. The scent is subtitle, almost too subtle but, whether you like the scent will almost certainly be down to your own preference and anything I say if purely subjective. To me, it smells a little bit like a cross between Vosene and Coca Cola essence. I like it, and in many ways it’s a bonus that it is subtle.It doesn’t lather like other shower gels but, it does the job, and for me, it does it well. I wouldn’t buy it on the basis that it’s reasonably priced or that it’s the best smelling shower gel I’ve ever used. It isn’t. However, I would buy it again on the basis that it really works, leaves my skin hydrated and and doesn’t overpower with scent.

I purchased this for myself and it arrived with efficiency from Amazon as to be expected.As far as mens shower gels go, this product is really great. I often find "for men" ranges of certain shower gel brands to be a little bitter in scent, and linger a little too long and create an unpleasant aroma when mixed with a conflicting cologne.This ManCave Cedarwood offering however has a much more low-key longevity; the scent it produces manly yet subtle, not too bitter while not smelling like a pudding. This scent is more something for you to enjoy in the shower rather than throughout the day, but it leaves you feeling super clean, with healthy skin,

This is a light tan colour and smells "manly" without being artificial, overpowering and generally too much...like a 1970s brut!It doesn't lather up particularly so don't expect loads of bubbly foam, but it does wash well, getting rid of dirty, oily muck from my bike repairs without issue.I did think it was a little drying so it lost a star for that, but apart from that it is a good shower gel with a pleasant scent and it even washed my ( admittedly pretty short) hair effectively, leaving it smelling fresh and free from gel.It is a good size tube that should last well as you get a lot of washing from a small blob, it has a 12 month shelf life after it has been opened,

A plastic bottle of shower gel. It says it's produced by Man Cave, but there's nothing to stop anyone else using it.It contains 500ml of gel. So it's a good sized bottle, double the contents of what you usually get.There is some plastic wrapping around the top which has to be removed to open. Once that is done you get it out via opening the top and giving the bottle a gentle squeeze. The top does re-seal.The gel doesn't give the greatest lather, but it does once rinsed off give a really good clean. It has a nice little scent as well. And it does leave you feeling fresh.It's also billed as being vegan friendly. And the bottle can be recycled.A good amount of a very good product.

I really like this shower gel. I like the packaging which, combined with the bear, makes it look a very manly product….grrrrIt has impressive credentials being vegan friendly however I shan’t be eating it for the purposes of this review.It’s thick enough and dispensed easily and lathers well enough. It has a distinct smell which is different to the usual bland lynx style rubbish on the shelves everywhere. But don’t be deceived, it’s not the kind of smell the shouts ‘I’m off to chop would, see you in a few hours’. It’s a modern almost citrusy smell to me and I really liked it. As did my wife which I guess is a bonus.A really good shower gel and one I would use again.

A large sized bottle of a really good smell teenage son thought. He likes the aroma when showering with it but did say the size of bottle not an easy one to just grab off shower ledge first thing in a morning with it being fully rounded. Me cleaning out shower cubicle and I see what he means having OA in my hands makes it a bit trickier for myself with it being big and round. He likes this range and thinks it as a more expensive showergel. Yes it is more expensive than his usual and I would buy it if in a set or for a stocking filler. One it’s own though as just routine shower gel shop one and not on offer would probably go with usual less costing one.

I have used ManCave products for a long time and was pleased to see it is now available in a larger 500ml bottle. This is supplied loose in Amazon packaging and has a sealed flip open top that requires a sharp knife to remove. The bottle is transparent so that you can easily see how much is left.Mancave shower gel is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. I really like the Cedarwood fragrance which is not too sweet and has a nice masculine aroma. It is well concentrated so that you do not require much and this large bottle will last a long time. It lathers up well and feels nice and cleans well and while not the cheapest is competitively priced.

ManCave Cedarwood Shower Gel is a new brand for me and I have sampled a tested the productover a ten day period.Firstly, it comes in a 500ml easy to dispense tubular plastic container. A quick glance at the sideof the tube tells you that the gel is vegan friendly and cruelty free -so you can be assured that itwas not produced with animal testing.The scent is attractive but not to overt. It lasted well into the day. In operation it foamed upwell and I calculated looking at the size of the bottle and the cost that it was value for money.Overall, this is a worthwhile, ethically produced shower gel and I would purchase it in the future.

I've been on the lookout for ethical products with natural ingredients and keep finding that they fall so far short of the mass produced products you can get from any supermarket. With this Man Cave shower gel this simply is not the case. It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. Sure the price seems steep as an initial outlay but week 2 (and I have a shower every day) I have probably used a tenth of the shower gel - if that. I smell fresh and clean and, crucially, with someone like myself with sensitive skin there is no irritation. Highly recommend this product and will certainly be buying more Man Cave products in the future.

Mancave have repackaged their shower gels into bigger bottles. This makes them better value and also means less plastic is used, so is good for the environment. The shower gel is the same great product as it was before - the cederwood fragrance smells great and it lathers up nicely in the shower. I also like the new clear packaging, which gives the products a nice fresh look and makes a nice change from the usual brown packaging. It also helps you to see how much of the product you have left! I'm a big fan of the Mancave range, especially the natural and vegan ingredients and this is another top quality product.

Must admit, the 'man cave' moniker caused some hilarity with the ladies in the house BUT the gel itself is quite good. As many have said, I wouldn't really describe the scent as aimed at men and they who must be obeyed said they would be happy to use it. Gives just enough foam and is not too runny.The dark brown colouring of the bottle isn't the branding I would have expected to make this decent little shower gel stand out either on the cyber sales shelf or sitting amongst other products in the shower caddy. However, it works well, doesn't require you to use a huge amount each time and I'm happy to use it.

I really like this range of products. Not really used many other brands to compare, admittedly. But, I have most of the Man Cave range and I like using them.Trick seems to be monitoring the prices on amazon as certain things can range in price by quite the margin. When something, shower gel for instance, goes back to £2 a bottle, I buy half a dozen.My only real gripe is that I don’t understand why each product has a different smell? Face wash, shower gel, moisturiser and beard creme applied, each smelling different than the last. It seems to work but, also seems like a lot more work than is necessary.
