I am reviewing the David Beckham Beyond Forever Eau de Toilette for Him 60 ml. Here are my thoughts:^^ This fragrance is from the House of David Beckham and follows on from the success of Beyond the previous Eau de Toilette for men.^^ As a woman I do like this smell. Like all scents when first sprayed it is rather strong, but this soon settles leaving a lovely manly aroma.^^ I am not great at picking out subtle scents and saying fancy stuff about fragrances, I just know what I like and what I don't. This is nice. If I have to try and describe it I would say there is a hint of citrus within the usual manly aftershave type smell. Lame description I suppose, but the aroma is not a bad one at all.^^ It's aimed at the modern man,so that's most men really. Aha! The gimmick behind the bottle, I mean the idea, is that this is designed as David Beckham's signature scent dedicated to the fearless man in the face of new challenges; in sport, love and life. Cool idea if it works, especially if you are a Beckham fan. Which I suspect you will be if you are looking at this. Or the person you are getting this for is... After all, as far as celebrity scents go, you don't just buy the fragrance you are buying the name.^^ I quite like the bottle it comes in. It has a manly look, that is textured and in line with Beckham's other products. It is small, but yeah, this size bottle only has to hold 60ml.^^ Has an easy to use spray diffuser, for quick and easy application.Overall:This may be a bit pricey but to be honest, most celebrity perfumes and scents are these days. I think if you are a fan you will be happy with this purchase, I certainly like the smell myself. But then you are talking to someone who loved the original Poison perfume and that had a truly Marmite love or hate relationship with the whole of England at the time. Maybe even further afield. This, you'll be happy to know, is a much lighter, fresher fragrance for men and I for one like it. In fact, I am beginning to wonder if I am the only one?^^ My only gripe is that the scent seemed to disappear after a while, so it should be considered more of an evening, occasional use scent than a cheaper all dayer liberally sprayer.Disclosure:I was supplied a free or discounted sample for test and evaluation purposes in return for my honest and unbiased opinion. Beyond Forever is a successor to the original woody, spicy 'David Beckham' scent and is an attempt to create something a little fresher and more dynamic. Before I was sent this sample I hadn't actually smelled the range before, and I admit to feeling a little dismissive about celebrity name fragrances. But this is actually rather good. Scent is always a personal thing, and everyone has their own tastes and preferences; I find this very pleasant. It's most noticeably a mixture of spice, violet, wood and leather, and the message it sends is one of confident sophistication.Exploring the full scent profile I get top notes of bergamot, lime and nutmeg, with middle notes of violet and fern,balanced by base notes of leather and patchouli. The mix of more feminine middle notes and the masculine base notes makes this a scent for the man who is confident in himself - definitely masculine, yet in touch with emotion and sensuality. I couldn't see it with Vinnie Jone's name attached... The top notes overlay that with the hint of freshness and excitement but the base notes do tend to dominate slightly, and I usually wear something with a lighter profile. The overall scent reminds me a little of Imperial Leather soap, but it still smells good and for a budget fragrance it's better than most. It lasts the day without fading, too.This gift set comprises a 40ml eau de toilette spray and a 200ml tube of shower gel, infused with he same scent. I rate it as being good value, and it would make a great gift, whether or not the recipient is a footie fan.

I am not into celebrity endorsed/created fragrances at all as, obviously, the celebrity usually has little to no input into anything to do with the product, except for lending their name which bumps up the price. That is exactly what happened with this set but I forgive all of that because, for one reason or another, it is an exact copy of an aftershave my Dad used to wear in the eighties and it is one of my favourite smells in the world. As soon as I smelt it I was hit with such a wave of nostalgia. It was a fragrance called Burgundy by Marks and Spencer. I went looking for it a while ago and while I found something similar, it wasn't quite right. This fragrance is an exact match and I love it!I don't know if it's just a coincidence or they were able to buy the recipe and re-brand it.Anyway, I can't think of a way to describe this fragrance with words. All I can say is that it s a very pleasant one so if you're already considering buying this set, it's worth a try. The shower gel has the same scent as the aftershave making it a very nice set indeed. two thumbs up from me!

OH has already been using this Eau de toilette but in a smaller sized bottle so this coming now handy as nearly finished the one already had. He must like it for it to be nearly all gone is all I will say. Not usually a DB fan but this Eau de toilette he does like as not too heavy for everyday use at the office. The bottle looks modern, chunky and no waste with it being a spray.The smell to me reminds me more of old fashioned leather sofas and mixed herbs, not a great long staying fragrance but one that you can smell when applied and that sticks around for a couple of hours. Cheap enough for reapplying when needed and would make a good present for the modern male.Teenage son thinks it smells "cool" and that is something. At last a fragrance that husband likes and no moans about it smelling either of nothing or just chemicals gone off. Good that an older fragrance company is managing to attract a celebrity to endorse their products and one product that has gone down well with the males in our house. Price wise both think it about right.

Notwithstanding that you are paying a little bit for the name David has actually put his name on a decent product. The gel is by Coty, which is now an American company but founded by François Coty in 1904 and the consistency and the lather are every bit as good as you would expect from a high end beauty products manufacturer. The smell is a good, so called ‘manly’ smell. After using it I've run the after effect past the most sensitive female nose known to me and she describes it as 'delicious', but she wouldn't have it on toast. The artwork on the packaging is either uninspiring, or nicely understated, depending on your POV. I think they've done their research correctly.A glow hinting at sunrise and the promise of a new day invigorated by David's shower gel might have livened it up but they're playing safe. So in a nutshell it smells nice, it lathers well and it will make a nice stocking filler.

The gift set: This is currently great value (at just over £12) - funnily it's currently cheaper to buy the gift set with the shower gel than just to buy the eau de toilette 40ml bottle alone! If you know that you like the eau de toilette then you might find the largest bottle to be better value (currently a similar price to buy the largest bottle as it is to buy this gift set) This would make a lovely gift for a younger man. It's nicely packaged in silver and would make a good gift. The shower gel is a nice addition and matches the smell of the EDT well.The fragrance: Quite a fresh and light scent to start off with a bit of citrus and a touch of spice. It's not the longest lasting fragrance,but as it fades, the leathery base note comes through. Given the price it last longer than other fragrances at this price point, but you need to pay a bit more for something to last longer.

Another gift set of two male toiletries from the David Beckham range.As usual, they're in a cardboard box that opens at the side and can be closed again easily.The two items are on a plastic tray inside.There's a 40ml glass bottle of natural spray. You take off a steel cap and then spray the contents by pressing the top. They are a bit thin and slightly watery, but smell nice and do clean the skin well.The next item is a 200ml tube of shower gel, which opens via a black cap at the bottom which can be re-sealed easily. The gel inside is a slight shade of grey, but lathers really well and really does leave you clean.This does feel very ever so minutely sharper to the same stuff in the classic one of these,so maybe they are slightly the better choice if you really want to look and feel great. But ultimately like that, they are first and foremost a decent product.

As one would expect from the branding and scent of this product, it is clearly aimed at the male market (that is, if such products are allowed anymore).With this particular shower gel, the scent is very subtle and actually very pleasant - perhaps a bit more scent wouldn't have gone amiss but it is always better to err on the side of subtly with fragrances in my view.As is important with any shower gel, this product foams well and creates a good lather (if those are the correct technical terms). The packaging is also well designed, being strong enough to withstand being dropped and easy to open and close, without the contents leaking everywhere.For a shower gel, it is reasonably pricey,but I guess that is only to be expected when it is endorsed by a celebrity...after all, those extra few pounds don't earn themselves....

I wouldn’t usually buy this sort of product, particularly if it is sold on the basis of a big name but I was pleasantly surprised by this. I don’t like overpowering scents and I found the scent from this set to be quite subtle. The main scent to me appeared slightly minty and, particularly after using the shower gel, I got that minty taste in my mouth for a little while.The eau de toilette is not one of those that you can smell coming a mile off. Although it is quite a faint smell, it was still present a few hours after spraying.I had a problem in that the shower gel had slightly leaked, making the tube sticky, not ideal if you are giving this as a gift,but this may have just been a one off instance where the lid got a bit loose in transit. I also have the Classic Blue set and I did not have this problem with that one.

Arrives in a plain, textured, chunky transparent glass bottle with a gun metal grey lid, which is plainly adorned with a silver David Beckham logo, whose signature is to have a ball shaped bit missing.Coty had created a fragrance with David Beckham's endorsement, approval and hopefully much input; that suits most men and the people who are about them. I like it a lot and feel it will be well received. The fragrance is fresh, lightly, edgy, with a strong effect at first, which as others have noted, does wear off quite quickly. However the lingering scent is attractive, crisp, not overwhelming, mainly sporty and pleasant.The natural spray works efficiently, dispensing a good amount each time.Beyond Forever is popular with both sons in their late thirties forties and I like to enjoy it around too!

‘Beyond forever’ has a lovely masculine fragrance. It has a woody, pine and musky aroma which is extremely pleasant. Both the eau de toilette and shower gel share the same fragrance and the smell lingers on the skin for some time.The shower gel is a 200ml squeezy tube and my preference for such products is a pump-action bottle which would also avoid leakage through the plastic-hinged lid and is more practical when showering.The outer packaging for this gift set is silver and black and is quite modern and classy. The same, unfortunately, cannot be said for the cheaper, plastic tray, display interior. There is nothing that shouts premium product here.Nevertheless, at just under £20 (Amazon October 2018),this gift set makes an attractive Christmas gift for the football-mad man in your life!

Wow if this is what David Beckham smells like I am not at all surprised he is popular with the ladies and the guys. It is the smell of metrosexuality. No doubt Christian Grey had a bottle of it stashed somewhere behind the leather straps, bonds and tickling sticks !!This eau is subtler than the previous eau and manifests itself after even the first quick spray as the odour of a man in charge and at the risk of sounding like advertising copy "this is the spray cologne for a man who means business"We have come a long way, gents, since the ice cold tingle and soundtrack by Carl Orff of Old Spice and hopefully that smell of Brut (garlicked armpits) has been binned long ago.Step into the future with an eau that shows you belong Beyond Forever. Really nice smelling new fragrance from David Beckham. It is quite a musky scent but with sweet subtleties. I don't typically go for musky scents but I do like this one. I would describe it as a very distinctive scent without being overbearing. I have had lots of compliments about it at work. The description is very accurate as it is in essence a combination of a sport/going out scent. An ideal scent for work in my opinion.The only criticism I have is that with most of the David Beckham scents, they do not last very long. This new one isn't as bad as other Beckham fragrances but I would certainly say you wouldn't really smell it after 2 or 3 hours of applying it.

I really like the shower gel - never thought I'd be having so much pleasure taking David Beckham into my shower but there you go. It has an appealing, grown-up scent that lasts quite well after washing and is an effective full body cleaner which doesn't over-dry my skin. The scent is a significant step up from the budget / adolescent offerings but isn't something I'd reach for too often being a little lively for me. I prefer more muted tones I suppose. No particular complaint - just not my taste. Overall it's a great gift at the price though mine arrived with a squashed box which would have been justification to return it if I wasn't planning to use it for myself.

Very masculine, a perfect scent for me and well presented. Not much to compare to, possibly Armani Diamond Rocks if you are familiar with it but this scent pulls together some interesting aroma.Certainly the best scent yet from brand Beckham, this nice bottle gives up classic male scent mixes of leather with mix of lime and lavender tinged patchouli but sweetened with a vanilla aroma. Different enough from Blue, certainly a good value EDT and a nice designer/licensed offering.Simple, classic looking bottle with pump spray diffuser for ease of application, this is an aromatic and elegant, all occasion fragrance.
