The shower gel comes in a soft plastic tube with the opening at the base. These type of closures work well when you want to get the last drop out of the tube but can drip and dribble when you open it, not too much of a problem in the shower as you can wash it straight off. The plastic is a masculine shade of grey/beige, but where the product is crimped the white plastic shows through, doesn't affect the performance but makes the product look cheap (not what you expect from a product manufactured in Monaco!) The design- David Beckham has a circle of text missing over the D and most of the AM. At first I thought this was printing error but silly me its a design logo,

All shower gels lather up well, clean and impart an aroma. I find this a very pleasant fragrance, typical of the scents created nowadays for the modern man. Thankfully it does not last long, I would be worried if it did. I would wonder how the fragrance could adhere to my skin having gone through the showering process finishing with a towel rub dry. Knowing that the fragrance will wear off gives me the freedom to apply the eau de toilette of my choice. Hence I give it 5 stars.The grey background of the soft plastic tube with the silver lettering in the logo looks very smart in any ‘modern’ bathroom with a black/grey/cream palette.The product description on the Amazon site tells me that Beckham’s life motto is ‘no matter how small you start,

This isnt going to impress your penhaglion man or similar who has expensive fragrances, but what it is makes it a winning choice for a budget collection over some other blends that are I shall just say it 'toilet duck'. or traditional Lynx overload.The scent is sweet and both herbal and fruity at first, it says mojito accord suggesting sugar syrup mint lime and rum but it smacks to me of freshly torn pineapple mint (yes it's a mint plant I have it in my garden!) with a lingering dusting of icing sugar coated boiled sweets like pineapple or cola cubes. This gives way to musky woods with some herbal clinging on. It's all very pleasant.The shower gel itself is nice and slippy,

Five stars because I really love this smell so very fresh and masculine I really can't stop sniffing it , I'm getting addicted ,and for all its not heavily perfumed my brother smelled nice and fresh all day long especially his hair.It's great for carrying around to the gym or pool perhaps if you require and would make a lovely stocking filler for the gent in your life especially a David Beckham fan , l couldn't go wrong with this for my son.It very easily pours from the tube ( just a gentle squeeze ) so great for someone with rheumatic hands and you get plenty plenty lather.For all it doesn't state it's hair and body wash he as used it on his hair and it's perfectly gentle just rinse till soap

I'm not really one for celebrity branded products such as this because, in all honesty, I just don't see the point. But given the chance to try it out, I thought I might as well give it a go, and I was pleasantly surprised.The smell is actually quite pleasant in a somewhat generic mildly musky way, which is fairly common for most mens shower gels, shampoos etc. It has excellent lathering and froths very easily and is perfectly pleasant to shower with. In fact, as someone who has a tendency to react to quite a few different products, I was quite pleased to not react to this.I'm not sure this product is any better or worse than most other men's shower gels,

I know that the market for this sort of thing relies a lot upon branding. But what do you get beyond the David Beckham name with this shower gel?Well you get a perfectly functional shower gel. It's nice and think, lathers up well and his a lovely citrus style scent/smell. It's not one that particularly lingers but personally I prefer that. You get the nice sensation as you shower and then put your deodorant/whatever one afterwards.So it is a nice shower gel. But is it nice enough to pay double or treble what your "bog standard" off the supermarket shelf shower gel can cost? Probably not. And whilst I've had Beckham gift sets before, which have been nicely packaged,

A bit plain on the presentation front but the smell of the product inside is very nice. Lathers well and has a pleasant scent which although not very long lasting doesn't evaporate immediately. As a family we own and use a few celebrity endorsed bathroom products. Usually we find that a mild scent to individual products is common as it's expected that you'll wear/use other products in the range to build up the scent and this one (I assume) is no different. If the soap, deodorant and eau de toilette from the range were used alongside this then the fragrance would be more powerful, obviously, but used in isolation there's nothing very outstanding about each one.

Sportsmen have always been used to plug male toiletries (I remember old Henry Cooper and Brut!) and David Beckham has got to be "the" name to use to endorse your smellies. Fortunately, this product smells way better than Brut! It is woody and fresh, and subtle. Perhaps too subtle as it fades quickly, but I'd rather that than live with the overwhelming scent that some products have - Lynx, I'm looking at you!Mr Bee tested this in the shower, and confirms that it lathers well and rinses easily, and he likes the fragrance too. Actually, this might become one of those "unisex" bottles in the Bee household.In terms of pricing - at full price, it's a tad expensive and loses a star for that,

This would be great if it had the "Beckham effect", just like Lynx products have the "Lynx effect", so that I could use it and become David Beckham-esque. But I've tried it and I haven't turned into a multimillionaire who women fancy. Nor have I become excellent at football. But at least now after a hard game of football where I have sliced the ball over the goal from a yard out before being subbed off to jeers and abuse I can have a shower and become as clean and well-washed as David Beckham is. I can even enjoy the lovely scents in the communal dressing room "opening with a mojito accord" and later "featuring notes of cedar wood and leather." I can even use the matching

BEYOND=======Quite a nice, fluid shower with a very pleasant smell.It is a standard size of 200mls. The packaging is fine and there squirty bit doesn't leak.SMELL======It's a refreshing gel that will rev you up first thing in the morning. Clear and fluid, with a musky masculine smell.CLEAN======It left my body feeling refreshed and revitalised. A good morning shower gel.LOVELY======I like it. I see others have complained about the smell wearing off. I've never had a shower gel in which the smell has lingered. Shower gels smell nice but their purpose is to clean. Having a celebrity name to any personal care product always makes me suspicious it will be a cheap, poor product capitalising on the gullible.However, is with this product, I was incredibly surprised at how good it was. The gel was pretty standard; easy to dispense, good consistency and don't lather too much.The fragrance was very, very good. It is similar to the shower gels you get with aftershave gift sets, but at about half the price.I actually got comments asking me what it was because it smells so good, and I would actually consider buying this instead of my regular shower gel!

I may have been unlucky but the container I received had been leaking in the post. When I opened the packaging which looked undamaged it was an ill fitting cap that had been leaking in transit.The product itself is quite thick and clear in consistency and has very little scent which I did like. The product did lather well and I did not need to is too much. I think this will appeal to lads wanting to go with the Beckham lines and from my use it is as good as any other like shower gel.

This colourless shower gel lathers well, even in our hard water. I liked the scent more than my husband did, but it wore off within a short while – and I can’t honestly say that it performs any better than others for sale on supermarket shelves. However, those who like the celebrity association of designer products may feel that it’s worth paying a premium price for this - but my husband doesn’t.

This is another strong musky scent, not as strong as instinct in my opinion and more suitable for day to day wear. The cap isn't that strong and leaked it transit just like the other Beckham products I've tried. Shame about the leaky bottom and less than premium tube but apart from that it foams well, doesn't leave a residue and rinses off easily and the smell you are buying lingers well.

Want to smell like David Beckham ex footballer and celebrity house husband, and then this is the product for you. Not much to say other than it’s a shower Gel with a not unpleasant smell, and that’s where the difficulty in reviewing online takes place, this has to be smelt to understand what you will small like some will like it some won’t .If you do then buy with certainty
