I have been using Burts Bees products for a long time now. What appeals to me is the high quality, the 100% natural ingredients and the products effectiveness. In addition to this I love Burts Bees as a company. Their standards, philosophies and their commitment to nature. These lip balms are no different. All 100% Naturally derived. I regularly use the original beeswax one with peppermint oil. It is my go to lipbalm. It is so effective. It nourishes my lips, moisturises and keeps them looking good. And it stands up to serious conditions. When you apply the beeswax and peppermint oil it gives just the slightest tingle. It lasts for a few seconds and feels pleasant. You forget it until you kiss someone and they notice the tingle. The pomegranate one is not tinted. So as a bloke who doesn't want lipstick on my lipstick this is still fine for me. Its likeness is to pomegranate is not amazingly similar. But it is pleasant enough. It is just a surprise as Burts Bees normally have extremely good likeness. For instance the honey one in this pack is lush. It is like actually smearing honey on your lips. What is extra wonderful about the packaging is that it is entirely recyclable. Even the tray the balms sit in can be recycled with waste paper. When I apply any of Burts Bees lip balms they last for ages. Youur lips feel nourished for hours, even after eating and drinking. I probably apply it twice a day, so they last for ages. I still have one balm from last winter (2018)The lip balms themselves can be recycled as part of the terra cycle scheme! Brilliantly

I am a big fan of Burt's Bees lip balms: they are just the right size to fit in a purse, bag or pocket, and always provide excellent moisture to the lips. I find I really need to ensure I have lip balm on hand all the way through colder months, so end up splitting these gift sets up across different bags and coats to ensure I am never left empty-handed.I was disappointed that the peppermint flavour has been replaced in this set: the previous set I had had the peppermint which is the single greatest 'flavour' of Burt's Bees lip balm ever created. Of the four lip balms in this set, the original is of course wonderful, without any flavouring or colour. I also liked the honey,it had a sweetness that was pleasant but not cloying. The pomegranate has a small stain to it, but it is not so strong that it looks like make up in any way, it's much subtler than a lip gloss. The coconut and pear is my least favourite: I find the taste of the coconut a little overpowering. On the plus side, because coconut oils are so moisturising, this salve does have the psychological advantage that you really feel like your lips are softer and plumper after use.Overall, a lovely set well presented: I see other reviewers have posted photos of the packaging so I won't repeat that but suffice to say it's a lovely simple presentation pack with a small amount of bright tissue paper - very effective!

I don’t use lip balm, so my only comment is that this looks like a very attractive gift set. I asked my wife to assess it, and she was very impressed.“Burts Bees lipbalms are my go to moisturiser for my lips, they are perfect. The flavours in this set are pomegranate and peppermint and a tinted one that's hibiscus. The taste of them is not overpowering in the slightest, just a good hint, and the tinted one gives you a slight reddish glow, which means you get an effect without applying lipstick. They go on well, stay on well and do the job admirably. I have not found another make that comes anywhere near this product. They are slightly on the expensive side, but as usual you get what you pay for.I prefer Burts Bees balms because they contain beeswax and are not greasy at all, just enough moisturiser to make your lips feel hydrated and with the peppermint one a slight tingle when you apply it. There is enough in the tube for ages, and the lid stays on in the depths of my handbag, which is a definite plus.I love the glass jar that they came in along with some straw to help protect them in transit. The jar is currently hanging on my small lilac tree with a tea light in and it looks lovely. The shape of it is good too, with little ridges on it, dispersing the light from the candle and making it glow beautifully.”

Burt's Bees Balm Jar Gift Set is a cute little gift set of three lip balms inside a glass jar.The jar is a small solid glass jar shaped a little like a beehive, it has a basic wire handle that's easily removed - I actually decided to paint my little jar and I'm currently using it to store makeup brushes, so a nice little extra rather than just getting the lip balms in a basic card box - inside is crate paper made to look like straw and there's a card label around the jar with product information. The jar contains three Burt's Bees lip balms: tinted lip balm which is a nice dark pink colour that does give lips a little tint, pomegranate, also an original lip balm with vitamin e and peppermint - Burt's Bees lip balms are good in general, natural and the right combination of firm enough to last a while but easy to apply, the tinted lip balm is my favourite as it's a little softer than the other two and the colour is perfect for me when I'm too lazy to apply lip stick for the day.Price-wise it's not bad, currently the price is £9.99 so around £3.33 per lip balm and that's fairly standard price per Burt's Bees lip balm, but as well as the lip balms you're also getting this little glass jar which is a nice little extra to keep so it's worth the price.

I'm a huge fan of Burts Bees and myself and my wife have tried several of their products before. So when I was offered this little set, I was keen to give it a go.It's a set of three lip balms in a little gift jar that looks like a honey pot. The three 'flavours' are:- Vitamin E and Peppermint- Pomegranate- Tinted lip balm, 'Hibiscus' varietyAs with all Burts Bees products, the focus is on natural ingredients, and also as usual, the quality of the three lip balms is very good. They go on well, stay well, and taste nice too.The peppermint one is a tiny bit 'zingy' but not uncomfortably so. Just a slight tingle.Pomegranate one is a sweet flavour, and very pleasant tooThe tinted one has a deep colour, which does give your lips just a little colour. My wife likes this one because it's a nice compromise if she can't be bothered putting lippy on.My only gripe is with the jar. The wire handle makes it feel just a little cheap, and not up to BBs usual quality. My wife thinks it's 'fine' though. Given that you're essentially getting the jar for free, however, compared to normal Burts Bees lip balm prices, I think I'd be harsh to knock a star off for it. The set still makes a nice little gift and the products are great quality.

Keeping our lips from cracking during the day can often be in the front of our minds throughout our busy days, however, I have been using these Burt’s Bees lip balm for the last week daily, and my lips no longer suffer from cracking and cuts which has boosted my self-esteem throughout the day. In case you’re wondering, these do have an incredibly subtle fruity beeswax smell, but you’d really need to sniff the lip balm in order to smell it.These came beautifully packaged and could certainly make for a nice gift! Although I do feel that the card box could’ve been halved in size and size protect and present these lip balms bee-autifully (okay I’m done with puns now :)).Just be aware that these are tinted and will subtly make your lips a little red/pink, so unless you want a lipstick/lip balm duo, I would possibly avoid (or go for one of their other products). I love that these are 100% natural and made from bee wax’s, so you can be rest assured that you won’t be putting harmful chemicals on your lips throughout the day.Overall, very satisfied and highly recommended :)Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful :)

My wife loves this range, and is always keen to try a new one.“Almost perfect for me, except that I can’t stand coconut, so the coconut and pear one is not for me; I didn’t bother trying it. The others are as good as ever. I am pleased to see that hibiscus remains in the set, as this seems to give my lips a slight tint of red when I use it; this is useful, as I don't need any lipstick. The honey one is glorious, it feels so good when you put it on and the slight taste of honey is lovely. The other one is just their usual beeswax one which is as good as ever. The set is well-packaged, and suitable to give as a gift without rewrapping. When you slide the box from the outer sleeve and open it,you can see the four lip balms lined up under some yellow tissue paper and a small amount of paper straw protecting them from moving about. There appears to be less straw than usual, but that doesn’t really matter. All of the balms have a hygiene plastic wrapper on the lid, which you need to remove before use.A lovely set which will suit anyone, whether they have dry lips or not. A good price for luxury at just under £2.50 a tube.”

.With this Burt's Bees Treat from the Bees Gift Set, you get a nice trio of Burt's products. This collection includes 100% natural moisturising Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E & Peppermint (4.25g). The gift also includes Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip balm. There is also Natural 100% natural Tinted Lip Balm. All contained in a nice, if not fragile, glass honey pot.The Natural Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E & Peppermint absorbs quickly and soothingly and it worked rather well. When we have used it, my partner and I felt it's beneficial effects. Especially good at keeping your lips chap free in cold weather. Likewise, the nourishing Natural 100% natural Tinted Lip Balm has been of benefit too. This our fourth try of a Burt's Bees lip balm products they are nice compact and generally work a treat, without that overly greasy feeling that some lip balms can be. It leaves your lips nice and supple, which lets you know it is working. Can at times seem somewhat thick when on, moreover you get a nice tingly feeling on your lips and it has very good texture, as it is always soft. All worthy of a good four stars..

This is a fantastic gift idea for anyone that likes natural beauty products. The lip balms arrived packaged in a lovely card presentation box in the Burt’s bees signature yellow. There is a great selection of different flavours including honey, pomegranate, peppermint/beeswax and coconut/pear.The fragrance of the balms is light and natural, so not overpowering at all.The pomegranate balm is tinted to give your lips a healthy glow, the others are all clear. The beeswax and peppermint feels slightly tingly on my lips, but in a soothing way. These are a good choice for wearing under lipstick to give extra hydration as they are not sticky or too thick.I keep one in my handbag at all times.I’ve been wearing the tinted one a lot under my mask instead of lipstick. It gives my lips a hint of colour and I don’t need to worry about it smearing all over my face! The balms are all 100% natural which is great, especially for a product that is applied to the lips.My lips feel soft, moisturised snd protected. I highly recommend these lip balms.

We LOVE Burt's Bee's products in our house as most of the ingredients are natural and good for the skin. These tinted lip balms are no exception, most of the ingredients are natural oils such as coconut, olive and sunflower with added moisturising bonus of beeswax. The tinted colours are lovely shades of red and pink, not too opaque or sheer, just a nice splash of colour which is great when you want to add a bit of colour without drying your lips. The lip balms do have a slight smell but nothing too strong. The packaging is cute too, a small yellow cardboard box/tray with detachable lid (great to reuse as lipstick storage in drawers), inside there was a handful of paper straw and 2 small sheets of yellow tissue paper. The outer sleeve was cardboard and easily comes off.Price-wise they were advertised at £7.99 at the time of this review, considering the retail price is usually £5.99 for 1 lip balm or £3.99 on offer, I think its an excellent price if you like both colours.

Burt's Bees Kissable Colour 100% Natural Moisturising Gift Set.We were really excited to be receiving a Burts Bees product as we have heard good things about the brand in the past. The presentation was superb, a lovely quality box and then the items were wrapped in yellow tissue and straw in keeping with the bee theme. We opened each lip balm, on one we accidentally ripped off the whole outer cover but did manage to seal it back around. My daughter wound one up a couple of millimetres to look at the colour and then we couldn’t get it to wind back down. I tried to apply this one and the product was very soft and squashed out of shape so I had to cut this bit off to tidy it up.All three colours were effective and nice and glossy but not particularly long lasting. What I found quite surprising is that the peppermint flavour is not just a subtle hint, it is quite overpowering which I feel an ongoing burning sensation for a few minutes after application.[4 images attached]

I’ve used other products in the Burts range. I like the fact that they’re relatively natural and although I don’t think there’s much honey or royal jelly, I’ve found their moisturiser and bath products very pleasant to use.The three sticks of lip salve are nicely presented in a yellow metal tin shaped like a chunk of honeycomb. It looks great and would make an excellent gift. I think at £9.99 it’s good value because a single tube of this brand costs nearly £3. As for the balm, they’re easy to apply and have a really nice taste. Slightly sweet but not overpowering and not too greasy. I’ve found that one application in the morning lasts pretty well all day. It’s certainly helping to keep my lips protected during this cold, wet and windy weather. I live near the sea, so there’s invariably salt in the air and it can play havoc with your skin. I haven’t used the tinted balm, but happy to recommend the other two as ideal for preventing chapped and split lips.

There are three different products available on this one Burt's Bees Amazon Product Page – a Balm Jar Gift Set, a Balms 100 Percent Natural Gift Set and a Balm Trio Gift Set – my review is for the jar – the first item. There are three 4.25g Beeswax Lip Balms included in the set and these are attractively presented in a glass honey jar packed in straw. One balm contains Vitamin E & Peppermint, another has Pomegranate and the third is Tinted - Hibiscus – all are natural products and none contain any phthalates, parabens, petrolatum or SLS. Burt's Bees has been around since 1991 and many of their products are available from Amazon – at around a tenner this gift set is good value and very nicely packaged so would make a lovely present for anyone who tends to suffer with chapped lips.My wife has tried all three balm varieties featured here and likes them all although she prefers the Peppermint flavour if she had to make a choice of her favourite one.

This is an excellent package of four high quality lip balms, thoughtfully and attractively packaged. The trademark yellow casing of Burt’s Bees looks great, and the case slides open to reveal the four lip balms, nestled among some straw to keep them separate and make them look appealing as a gift. Most importantly the lip balm is lovely- each flavour smells and tastes distinctive, and lasts well so you don’t have to keep re-applying it, even on very dry lips.I particularly liked the honey flavour, and the pomegranate deserves a special mention as a slightly unusual lip balm flavour which works well. I wasn’t mad about the coconut and pear flavour but these are very individual opinions, and it certainly contained hints of the stated flavours. The lip balms are produced to a high standard, notably with no animal testing, and full recyclability.Overall a high quality product in thoughtful package. A perfect gift for lip balm lovers!

Ive been using the original tin version of the beeswax lip balm and decided for convenience to try the stick version as I wouldn't need to touch my hands for hygeine reasons when traveling. Not sure if the stick beeswax balm version is the same as the tin (perhaps not as moisturising ??) as I always tend to gravitate towards the tin version (even though I did purchase the set solely for the reason of trying the tube version of it), but the others are great, gave the pomegranate away so can't comment on the comparison. The hibiscus tinted version gives a slight sheer pink tint and shine to my lips when I don't want to put lipstick on, looks very natural and smells like sweets yum! Also to note the tinted hibiscus stick I haven't used it alone I always tend to put the original lip balm on first so I wouldn't know if it dries out the lips or not but my lips are left very moisturised with the combination. Bought a second to stock up on.
