My 2.5 has suffered eczema since she was 1 year old. I've used every product you can think of, from the E45 to Bonpoint, all with disappointment. and this turned up. I bought this randomly when we went for a trip, this was the only baby product available at the time, I absolutely hated the smell! However after using it for 2 days, for the first time I felt my daughter's back is smooth (she has dry eczema on her back), and after a week her back of the leg looked a lot better, though her fingers are still bad, it is a lot calm than before, I mean i am not hoping too much, I already feel over the moon with this result! (i had to mix it together with some treatment cream sometimes, overall it works well)I apply to her skin 2-3 times a day, usually finish the whole tube within a week, this is the amount of moisture an eczema needs. I know it does cost a bit, but nothing is more important than my daughter's peaceful sleep, I felt heartbroken when she used to get up in the middle of the night telling me she was itchy all over.I buy things all the time on Amazon, however this is the first time ever I've written a review, highly recommend this lotion! can you improve the smell though?other lotions that work ok for my daughter's heavy eczema condition areAvene XERACALM A.D CREAM, I use this in the evening for her, it is a very thick texture.LIttle Butterfly body lotion, the condition didn't get better while i was using this, but at least it didn't develop either.

I've recently been a little bit poorly *pauses for violins*Two weeks in the house with central heating on, antibiotics (dry out my skin something chronic) and steroids (skin thinning), my skin was in dire need of some lovin. It was raw! The skin connecting my foot to my leg literally cracked and bled, and the thinned skin on my shins cracked. The rest of my body was equally dry, raw and uncomfortable.I turned to my trusty cocoa butter - eeek no help! Brought out the big guns - body oil! Nope, it just couldn't seep through the dry skin.I bought this on a whim. My thinking, it's on offer, the beeswax may have more staying power than my other lotions and potions, and I'm already a fan of Mr Burt and his bees...So I slathered it on after my shower...The first thing I thought was how beautiful and thick thr lotion was. The second thing I thought was "wow this really snells offensive! Amazingly offensive". I'd describe it as a musky honey smell. It's not artificial or chemical, just horrible! But, damn it, it worked! My skin felt soothed and moisturised, and like it was finally repairing. So, I carried on, praying noone else commented on my musky pong, and masking with the heaviest perfume I own.To sum up, it's a fantastic product. If you like the smell, you're really on to a winner.... If you don't like the smell... Welcome to a dilemma!

My Daughter has had Eczema since she was 3 months old. I tried every cream you could imagine, I must have spent a small fortune. The doctors also kept prescribing her creams but they just seemed to make it worse. Burts Bee Baby Bee has been the only cream that actually works!!!!! Its been amazing for her skin and so easily absorbed (no stickiness) I do cream her twice a day, morning and bedtime after her bath. In addition I use the Burts Bees soap in her bath and nothing else, this has also made a huge difference (no more oily residue left in the bath tub from the aveeno bath oil) I bath her everyday in a luke warm bath around 35 degrees.I hope this information will help other babies out there as I know how distressing eczema can be for babies and mums.Tip: when you can't squeeze anymore out of the tube of cream cut the end off and scoop out the cream inside and place in another container with a lid on to stop it drying out - you will be amazed how much more you get out.

My dd5 developed a mystery rash and very dry skin on the backs of her hands. I used my usual Palmers cocoa butter but she complained of it being so cold that it felt burny on her skin. My dd hates any creams and we usually have meltdowns so I was not looking forward to experimenting my way through countless creams to find one that solved the dryness. Cue Burts Bees. Whilst it is a little more expensive than other creams it is definity worth the premium. My dd loves it. She literally dances around chanting ‘burts bees’. I applied it to her skin on the evening and by morning the dryness has disappeared. There was no tantrum on application. It rubbed in smoothly and quickly without leaving a greasy trail. It now goes allover the body every couple of days and is part of our routine.

I have used this since my baby started having eczema at 1 month old, this is the only product that doesn't irritate his skin, as his eczema is triggered by detergents. Along with cutting out normal detergent washing powder and replacing with ecoleaf and porridge baths the burts bees range of baby oil and lotion has almost cured his eczema. It smells delicious too! He's a year old now and only has a couple of small patches behind his knees but I manage this with the lotion and the burts bees nappy cream. Excellent product and brilliant value if you use the subscribe and save option with Amazon.

This lotion is a delight. I was searching for something for my constantly sore skin and I thought I'd give this a try. I am very glad I did. It is very thick for a lotion and wonderfully rich, but is not at all greasy. There is minimal fragrance, which would usually bother me as I love beautiful smells, but the immediate benefits to my skin made up for it. After a while I didn't mind that the lotion hardly smelt. It is almost instantly absorbed and amazingly soothing, healing and long lasting. I'm sure it's great for babies, but equally suitable for adults! Love it!

I actually use this lotion for myself. I get very sensitive skin and dry. I had been in hospital for a couple of weeks, the sheets are so starchy I got eczema on the back of my thighs, bum and elbows. This lotion has healed the eczema and smells so lovely at the same time. I would say that this is more of a cream than a lotion, but I really like that. Some people may not. I will say that it’s hard to get all the product out of tube near the end. I will be cutting the end off this tube while I wait for a new one. The packaging could be improved.

I love this product, I only use natural organic products and am really happy I've found this. It massages into my baby's skin beautifully leaving him soft and smelling gorgeous. I have tried so many different products and this is definitely one of my favourites.Make sure the silver foil is present and intact as some sellers I have purchased from have not checked this before delivering and I have sent them back as the product smells slightly rancid and is probably out of date.

This product is a lovely light, white coloured lotion which glides onto skin and is quickly absorbed. The smell is reminiscent of honey, as you might expect, but wasn't at all overpowering. The tube was bigger than expected and will last for ages as a little goes a long way. It was effective on patches of dry skin and didn't leave a greasy residue, it's good to know that it is made of lovely natural ingredients and it is safe for baby's skin. Really pleased with our purchase!

Our 2 year old grandaughter had problems with dried / cracked skin which several visits to the doctor (followed by prescriptions for several types of creams) failed to solve. As a last resort we tried this lotion (based on the previous use of Burts nappy cream, which is also excellent). Within a couple of days the difference was amazing. We now have a far happier grandaughter and would recommend this lotion to anyone with a similar problem.

I have to say I didn't quite believe the reviews but thought I'd give it a go. My nephew is 5 months and had terrible eczema on his face. His scratching had broken the skin and prescription creams just weren't touching it. We tried this lotion and within 4 days the eczema has nearly disappeared! Amazing and I cannot recommend enough. It smells great too, and you dont need to use a lot. Brilliant and worth every penny!

A lovely rich cream that has really helped to keep my little boy's skin in a lovely condition. I was using it on him everyday, his skin was so good I thought maybe I could start using it every 2 days, unfortunately this resulted in eczema! So back to using everyday. It's nice to know I'm putting natural products onto his skin and he smells divine! We use along side the shampoo & body wash.

I started using it when my daughter was constantly having dry skin on legs and hands. After a week now the skin is very soft. We both love this. My only concern was its little thick and not so runny. So when applying on my restless toddler it's difficult to massage all over. So I have started using weleda lotion which is runny. But I do feel Burt's bee was very much pampering.

I have been using this cream for my little ones skin since she was 2 months. It leaves a lovely honey smell on application but it is not too over baring as this is important for babies. It seems to provide enough moisture for my little ones skin unless the weather is very cold cause my little one to have dry patches in which case I will use a little aqueous cream.
