We bought this combination of salt and pepper grinder, after seeing and using it a restaurant. We have had it only for a short time - but it has performed quite well with no fuss or issues whatsoever. The pepper comes out nicely ground, and the salt is dispensed well. It is easy to refill the salt –just unscrew the metal top. As for replacing the pepper just remove the salt top section and fill and screw back on. When refilling the salt, best to ensure it is quite fine as the holes can get clogged up. We believe this due to moisture in the air.It makes for a nice conversation piece, when friends and family are over. A nicely designed item that does its intended job well –recommended.

Very good. It looks really nice, I had some transparent plastic cheap ones previously which look a bit similar, and I worried that these wouldn't look much different, but they do. They are bigger and they just look cleaner and better made, perfectly smoothed edges everywhere and highly polished stainless steel screw on top. And the main reason I got them is because you get a nice smooth grinding action from them unlike cheaper ones which can be a bit patchy.Worth spending a bit more and getting these I'd say. Only slight downside is that I bought the salt grinder at the same time and that hasn't shown up yet. It was due last Wednesday but didn't come, hoping it will arrive Monday.

My wife and I live close to the main site of Lakeland and visit frequently. We had lunch in the restaurant there recently and were impressed by the dual purpose salt/pepper server. We went back after we'd eaten to look for the product in the shop, but they don't sell it. More fool them, 'cos it's a brilliant accessory. We came home and went straight onto the Amazon site and bought it. We are absolutely delighted with it. Highly recommended - very stylish and functional at the same time.

I've always wanted one of these and ordered one to try and I'm very happy to say that I'm glad I bought it as I've always enjoyed going to restaurants and they always have a salt & pepper mill. It tastes so much better then ordinary ground white or black pepper. Its also good value as it normally cost quite a lot if you get it off the high street. So another thumbs up!!

Bought this as need a quality pepper mill as have been using supermarket ready filled mills for a while, which are useless. The pepper mill is sturdy, strong and can be adjusted. Salt shaker on top is very useful when cooking. Space saver on table top and even looks elegant at the dinner table. Thumbs up to this product. Also delivery outside of UK very quick.

How do you get excited about a peppermill? well after using run of the mill (excuse the pun) supermarket offerings and always being disappointed, it was a pleasure to discover this mill in a restaurent near me. I was so impressed with it's mechanism and delivery of pepper/salt I just had to buy one, a must have gadget.

It is great to have a salt shaker with this rather than those grinders for salt that never work properly. The only thing I would mention is that when filling the salt pot, you need to put something in to stop the middle part filling up - I found a pen lid works.

A really tidy product, instead of having two dispensers for salt and pepper, just have one. You need to put the finest salt into the shaker as the holes are very small, but one that was sorted it works very well. ..Would thoroughly recommend.

We saw these in a hotel we visted recently and decided to buy some. They are very stylish to look at and work well. The only slight criticism is that they 'leak' a bit, so we have have ours standing in a small decorative tray.

Great value for money when I bought it. There was salt in the pepper part of one of them (it shouldn't be there as it causes corrosion) I got a replacement in no time at all. Great customer serviceLovely stylish look

Excellent replacement for an older model. All great but when dispensing pepper remember to shake when finished to get rid of the last residues before passing on. Otherwise it messes the table up with the residues.

They had similar pepper mills with salt shakers at the hotel I stayed at in Paris, and my mum wanted one really badly, so when we got back home to Denmark I had to order one for her birthday, and it was perfect.

This is an excellent pepper grinder, very easy to use and to fill as well. I am so pleased that I found one at last that acutely does what itsays 'on the tin'. A very happy customer. Many thanks.

A good little device. With previous grinders the salt used to get damp so this little duo piece of kit lets you shake the salt and grind the pepper. I have so far no complaint with this item.

These are stylish, easy to fill and grind well. However, they do not bounce when dropped on a tile floor! The fact that I wanted to replace it and not find a different one says it all really.
