This is a decent case for the iPad Air. The iPad fits in very easily, just clicks into place, and fits very snugly and tightly. The cover doesn't appear to have magnets in it, so the sleep feature doesn't work, and there's a tied provided to secure it to the body. I'm not keen on this aspect of the case. The other aspect I'm not too keen on is the large gaps around the buttons and the considerable area of space left exposed at the bottom around the lightning connector. As Apple products have decent resale value, it's worth keeping them in good condition, and these gaps do make small areas of the case vulnerable to knocks. The lid doubles as a stand, as well, but works differently to the official case: the lid is attached to the back of the main case by a large hinge, which does offer flexible and stable standing options. You can use it standing upright or lying at a slight angle for typing. This is good, but I did find the hinge got in the way and was quite often just flopping down when I was trying to hold it.This case itself is thin and doesn't bulk out the iPad Air much, but also looks and feel tough and will probably be good protection for it in case of drops or things being dropped on it.At considerably less than the price Apple ask for their official case, this is good value for money - the only real gripe is the lack of magnets and the tie to keep it closed.Good points:Tough case.Nice material for the cover.Good fit, and generally good quality manufacturing. Two modes for the stand.Doesn't bulk out the iPad Air much.Bad PointsThe elastic loop to hold the lid down is not a good solution (And a bit of a nuisance.)The large hinge connected to the cover was something a bit of hindrance. No magnets for the 'sleep' functionality.

This case has a lot going for it....but its description on this site is incorrect....but don't hold that against it....the manufacturer has written about this on amazon.com....So, anyway, what do I think about this case.....I like it... its stylish and fits well....PROS1. Fits the iPad Air exactly.....2. Looks good...3. Is well made...4. Protects the back as well as the front of the Air5. Has 3 positions to stand the Air upright for viewing or typing...6. Fits onto the origami keyboard case so I can still easily type from the keyboard and have the Air upright on that case in front of me....Incase Origami Workstation for iPad.7. At the moment there are not many Air cases around and I think that is is a good one.....8.All of the buttons etc are easily accessible with the case on....9. Has an elastic strip to hold the front and back together when closed...CONS1. Incorrectly described.....does not automatically put the iPad to sleep....2. Some people won't like the colour....I do...3. Some people won't like the elastic at the bottom.....I do...I think it looks/works fine....So overall.....good case that will protect your Air well...front and back....light and well fitted.....I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.....

This case offers full protection for the iPad Air similar to the Apple Leather Smart CASE FOR IPAD AIR(5) MF052ZM/A but at about half the price. While I think the Apple-made case is very expensive the leather version I think looks rather smarter than the Case Logic version with much black plastic at the rear with the rest made of a denim-like material. The photos of the case actually make it look a bit smarter than it is in reality. Crucially the case lacks the magnet that activates and deactivates the iPad when the case is closed. Without the magnet to make sure the case stays closed a less than elegant bit of elastic is used. Finally the packaging describes the case as suitable for an iPad 5.It would be better to say iPad Air rather than leaving the consumer to try and count back through the different iterations of the iPad!On the plus side the positioning of the case to display the screen at a range of angles using plastic slots is more robust that the folding-cover approach Apple use and, as noted above, it is cheaper.Overall I think it's just about worth four stars representing fair value and good protection for the tablet.

This case consists of a lightweight but sturdy plastic section for holding the iPad and a firm denim style nylon cover. As others have mentioned the description is incorrect as it is not magnetic - the cover is secured by an elasticated strap. Apart from this, the case is pretty good quality. The iPad fits well with no movement and all of the holes for cameras etc line up perfectly. The fact that you can adjust the stand to a number of different positions is great - and it remains quite sturdy. Other cases I've had for a similar cost just aren't as good. Whilst the denim effect may be an acquired taste,it does mean that the case is understated and doesn't draw attention to your iPad.The case does not add considerably to the weight and dimensions of the iPad so doesn't compromise the benefits of the slimmer lighter design. A great case!

What's that? You've just spent £400 on a tablet and now you need buy a protective case on top of that? Yep, I know how you feel. But don't' worry, this will do you fine. So, first up, this doesn't feature the magnetic strip that activates/deactivates the iPad when you open/close the case, but you know how to press the on/off button don't you? Good. Then this will be a perfectly good case for your use.The material is a little plasticy in texture and feel, but it's got grip to it. It's also a little darker than the photo (or at least mine is).The iPad slides into the sleeve well, it's snug without being tight. The screen is unobscured and the button easy to use. What more can you need?Unless you're absolutely desperate to own the Apple case, or one of many overpriced slabs of leather available, just buy this.

I recently purchased the new iPad Air and I wanted a case to protect it without making it too bulky as the iPad Air is slim and sleek. The iPad fits into the black case easily and it holds it in place well. The case is light and protects the screen when you are not using the iPad by covering the screen and there is an elasticated corner to hold the cover in place. The case transforms into a stand which is useful and the iPad stands firmly in place. The anthracite colour looks like denim which I like.It does not put the iPad in standby when the close the cover but that isn't a problem for me but that is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5.Overall the case is good value for money and doesthe job of protecting your iPad.

I wanted a case that wouldn't add too much bulk to my beautifully svelt iPad Air - and this one didn't disappoint. The back part is fairly thin, but very tough and it clips very securely to the iPad. The cover is also very durable with a stylish woven finish. The various stand/prop options all work well. The only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars is the lack of the magnetic sleep/wake function, though it's only a minor inconvenience as the lock button is easily accessible.

In fact, very good. My daughter, who unlike me actually owns an iPad, praises this cover very highly. it protects the surface very well, fits snugly to the device, and provides comfortable angles for working on the iPad itself. The anthracite colour is pleasantly anonymous which helps to divert the attention of prospective thieves. The denim style texture of the cover adds a certain class to the product. Recommended in both aesthetic and practical terms.

This case protects without adding bulk, and is stylish and discreet. The stand is easy to use too. A practical product with style - the slate grey fabric finish is really lovely. The looks win on this case. The con to mention is that there is no auto sleep/wake function with this case (ie the iPad must be turned on and off manually, rather than turning itself on and off when the case is opened and closed).

This is a fabulous case which has everything I want. Good materials and solid construction, wraps around the iPad air beautifully with all necessary cut outs. Has several viewing angles for typing or viewing content. Also looks really good with a denim-like finish. I really have nothing bad to say about this.

I was pretty impressed at the quality of this product. It is very plasticky but it is the good quality heavy duty plastic which inspires confidence rather than a worrying bend that some show.I don't like the fact that it isn't as easy to tilt this case as other but still on the whole very much acceptable.

27.12.2013

This is a well-built case, consisting of a hard plastic back, and a 'fabric' style front cover. It looks and feels smart. I particularly like the fabric-type finish. It also doesn't draw attention to itself, which is, for me, a good thing.
