The words 'nice', 'effective' and 'sturdy' are all words you will see in other reviews to described this protective case. They are all correct it is 'nice, sturdy and effective' case for your iPad Air.I like it. The colour grows on you after all the usual blacks that abound and the case it does the job its intended to protect your expensive ipadair.Well it will protect it from all the usual bumps and knocks that occur in normal life when you use the device. It isn't bomb proof but then again most users don't need that level of protection- they look after their kit and 'bullet proof, armour plating' type protection would add a heck of a lot of weight to the device. We have such a protective cover for my wife's I pad mini. She complained of the bulk and weight but it proved its worth on a field trip to the lava plains of Iceland. This then is the happy medium it protects without adding too much weight and bulk, |it has reasonable good looks that you don't have to pay the earth for with Apples overprice apparel. It will protect your kit. What I liked was the tactile quality of the thing on various surfaces it has a really satisfying nap. You really need to touch it to get the full impact.Other surfaces at the edges plasticy but they need to be because they will get the hard knocks, bumps and scratches. It both looks smart and feels it too.I like the secure fit, the cover puts the device to sleep which saves on battery life and the clip. All in all a well made, well designed protective case that has good looks but won't break the bank.Recommended.

This case has some great points. It is light, so will not add a great deal of weight to your iPad air- the iPad whose main selling point was the fact that it was lighter than any other iPad, so obviously this is important as you wouldn't want to undo that by adding a heavy cumbersome case.It is also a very good tight fit with all the buttons and cameras being readily available when it is on- so a thumbs up there. It also offers very good protection for your iPad covering the entire thing, front and back ( when closed ) so is great for shoving in your bag safe in the knowledge that it is safe from keys and pens and other scratchy things. The material used is high quality and looks and feels nice. The only let down is the clasp,it is hard to fasten ( it may well ease up with use and become easy to use but shiny new it takes a little more force than I like). When used as a stand you need to be doubly sure that it is in place to avoid a collapse, which will happen if you haven't managed to click it in place properly. However, it is a good price, fits well, does the job intended and looks good so four stars from me.......update........I have been using this for a couple of months now and the surround for the clasp...the female section has cracked, both top and bottom.... This case has been used daily but has not been abused, it has been used by an adult who takes care of their things not a child so I am disappointed and am docking a star. It is still usable and locks but I had hoped it would last longer than this.

This is a very nice ipad case. The colour is difficult to describe - cappuccino? rusty silver? - sounds pretty nasty put like that, but actually a clean, professional understated grey brown, which enhances rather than detracts from the ipad's appearance. The case grips the edges of the ipad leaving the whole front surface of the ipad visible and accessible. it holds it securely and is made of thick enough plastic that it should offer fair protection in case of accident. The ipad is "put to sleep" by closing the lid, and wakes on opening it, so no wasted batteriesThe only quibble is the catch, which is a slot in the case engaging with a long rubbery protuberance. Its a bit of a fiddle and takes me a couple of goes to make sure its shut properly. But its not a deal breaker, and i'm not going back to my old case. All in all a decent (even covetable) case at a sensible price

This Case Logic iPad Air case is a fairly nice protective cover. I wasn't totally sold on the colour before receiving it as a lot of times silver can often mean grey and if it's a dull grey then sometimes isn't very pleasing to my eye, but fortunately this is quite a nice colour when seen properly. It also has a very nice feel to it and while parts of it do seem plasticky (which also gives it a more solid feel), the front cover itself definitely doesn't, it has a nice almost velvetty feel to it. Being able to use the cover as a stand (has both standing and typing positions) is very handy and I've not had a problem with the snap fastener although it doesn't always seem to lock in perfectly unless you fiddle with it.I'm not sure if it'd come open, though, as it still seems like a solid enough sounding click everytime it closes. Nothing ground breaking, but a decent enough case.

A fairly basic but effective all-over case for the iPad Air that does not increase its size and weight significantly. The rear part of the case is a rather unattractive glossy grey plastic but it does provide firm protection and lines up with all the various orifices and rear camera lens well. The front cover looks a bit like aluminium rather than silver and mimics Apple's own cover for texture and folding style. It also has a part that loops over the edge of the iPad and secures via a slot and protruding ridge-like button on the cover's rear. I found no difficulty in securing this, though other reviewers have mentioned this as an issue.A perfectly effective cover at the price but lacking thestyle and quality feel of some other covers

A nice, sturdy, protective case for your iPad Air. The material has a kind of 'brushed metal' finish in a dashing silver, which looks attractive and feels premium. It's also extremely light, meaning it won't add too much bulk and weight to your tablet.Particularly useful is the fastening clasp on the front section, which secures your iPad tightly when not in use. The only thing that's missing (for me, at least) is a holder for a stylus - not essential as not everybody uses them, but I miss the one I had on my previous Logitech case.In any case, this one is an improvement on the rather basic (and overpriced!) Apple offerings - a great case, which will keep your iPad safe from bumps and knocks.
