Canon as is well known make their money from selling ink rather than printers which use it. My 81xx machine is a Scanner and Photocopier too and uses six different inks. I think that the Canon cartridges have a special cleansing detergent in the mix which keeps the nozzles clear. It maybe that that is another myth aimed to persuade us to buy Canon rather than compatibles. Depending upon upon how busy my machine is I alternate compatibles with Canons. If it is very busy then I think 2 compatibles to one Canon, otherwise every other one. I always look for the best price but there is very little variation.

Exceptional quality and only not 5 stars only because of cost and premature 'running out of ink' warnings. Compatible cartridges have never worked for me in the long run so I always buy original ink. Perhaps if printer manufacturers standardized cartridges a bit more and didn't change them every 5 minutes customers might get a better deal. This criticizism is not aimed at the supplier, just Canon. Supplier offering cartridges at a fair price for original inks. I've been using these cartridges for the last 3 years and they've never let me down. They come in strong packaging to protect cartridges.

Good quality cartridges for your Canon printer, easy to install and remove the packaging from the cartridges.As the saying goes, with these newer printers you end up paying more for the inks than the printer themselves and that’s definitely the case with these. They’re quite expensive! Also you get a "low ink warning" long before they actually run out!Also one other little niggle with these is the amount of plastic used to wrap these up, it’s really overkill!

Canon inks produce superior quality prints and don't wreck your print heads. Amazon offer value on these ink tanks and this is first port of call rather than auction sites whose prices are usually inflated anyway or littered with compatible brands.......... Buy inferior products and it will cost you money in the long run.

Genuine Cannon, what more needs to be said. Just remember, when the printer tells you that the cartridge "might have run out" there is catually about 15% left in it. Better to waste one sheet of paper (even top quality photo paper) than 15% of your ink. LET IT RUN OUT!

I use a lot of Magenta ink printing publicity leaflets for my wedding dvd business. While they are not cheap they are cheaper than I can get them locally! I have two printers and in the Canon one I only use Canon original inks as it is used for customer items.

Never buy any others for my Canon Pixma printer. Never dry up, good colour. Just wish they were cheaper and lasted longer but still acceptable. Can use them for a fairly long time after the printer indicates low ink levels. Delivery time excellent.

Whilst this product ticks all the boxes and delivery was on course it is still very pricey, had I realised at the time I may not have bought the printer. The refills are very small and do not last long and I do not do a lot of printing.

Canon inks. the only thing to use with a Canon Pixma Printer. It gives the best results with canon papers or top quality (Ilford etc..) photo papers. Cheaper inks do not give the print quality.

It came on time and did the job. It's the right cartridge set for the printer. I have destroyed a printer before by using compatible cartridges so always but the correct ones now.

Excellent service ordered on the 20th Sept and delivered on the 24th Sept you can not expect a better service for a small packetcan not fault this kind of service

Very high quality inks but very expensive. Probably worth it to ensure that printer heads do not get blocked as I have had in the past with compatible inks.

This is an excellent product. Having used substitutes I have found that it is best to use genuine ink cartridges for prolonging the life of your printer.

My printer is very thirsty and I seem to get through rather too many of these. While it is a fine product I just wish I didn't need so much of it!

What's to be said? Canon replacement cartridges are without question the best. This is the best price you'll find on the Internet or in town.
