For owners of Canon printers. If you want good quality photographs and photographs that will remain good quality for many years to come, genuine Canon Ink Cartridges should be purchased. I have tried all the cheaper cartridges available over the years and have found there is no substitute for the genuine article. Cheap inks cartridges are ok for rough work but to use cheap cartridges for quality photographic prints is false economy. Don't be tempted by cheap cartridges if you want long lasting colour prints. P.S. I am a genuine customer and have no connection with Canon or any other manufacturer. This is purely my advice based on many years of printing photographs on Canon printers of various types.

I always use Canon inks in my printer, because the colours are consistent. For those who are about to purchase a printer, I would certainly recommend Canon. Prior to buying a Canon printer I had an Epson 950, R300 and another R300. They all blocked soon after 12months except the last R300, which blocked on the 10th month. I informed Epson of this persistent fault. Epson returned my email within fifteen minutes, accusing me of using compatible inks! I was so disgusted by their attitude that I purchased a Canon, that was 5 years ago. The Canon printer is working as well as it was when it was new. I must add that Canon inks are much cheaper than Epson inks.

Great colour reproduction from these genuine Canon original cartridges. I had been using cheap compatible generic cartridges which often leaked or blocked the print head. The price for a genuine cartridge is well worth paying as the production quality is so superior.Great to see a multi-pack available as I had always previously had to buy each colour individually. Not only does the multi-pack save you money but also the environment as you end up with less packaging to have to recycle or throw away.

Original inks or after-market alternatives? Yes, it's a debate as old as time itself (well almost). My opinion is don't risk it. We use alternative products at work (I can't influence the buyers who operate on cost alone) and we frequently have problems with print quality and jets blocking.I've always used Canon original inks at home, for high-quality Photographic printing, and my old Pixma iP4000 still kicks out superb, portfolio-quality prints. And guess what? I've never had a single problem.

Bought from UK Trade Surplus. Did not receive the twin pack as shown but two individual loose cartridges without the original packaging which has the authentication markings. They appear to be genuine when compared to my originals but can't tell until I use. Without the packaging, doubts exist as to their age as well.Other than this, Canon inks are top class and I have always used them. Dropped a star because of packaging but genuine cartridges are 5 star.

For many years I have been buying Canon inks, why? Simply because they are consistent with their colours. That is to say, from one colour to another the colours of my prints are always the same. Many years ago, I was buying compatable ink cartridges and from one cartridge to another the colour of my prints were never the same, consequently I was throwing away a lot of high quality printing paper. Now, I hardly ever have to bin an A4 sheet of paper.

I wont use cheap compatable ink catridges as I have had very bad results each time however I wish genuine brands like Canon could reduce their prices. These were the cheapest I have found and made me realise just how much some shops hike the price and must make a huge profit from my pocket! I never get a bad result when using genuine Canon inks and would recommend them for all Canon printer users, cheap compatables are just not worth it.

These cartridges are supplied loose in a padded envelope and have been removed from their original box, however, they are all in the original sellophane and are thus sealed. Buying them this way worked out far cheaper than from other retailers that I have seen therefore I have no problem with them at all. It worked out cheaper to buy these Canon catridges than "own brand" ones and Canon catridges give much better results.

I ordered original Canon printer inks as I have found in the past that compatable inks wrecked my previous printer head. The cost, a new Canon printer. I would always recommend purchasing original inks, purchasing compatable inks could end up being very costly. The original inks may cost a little more but a new printer well..... The retailer I order the inks from surpassed themselves, I had my order in a couple of days.

I always use genuine Canon Ink,and have never had a printing problem. My printer has more than one type of black ink. This black tank i replaced, ran out seven or eight months ago, so i fitted the new tank to avoid any problems. However, i was surprised the ink though exhausted, has not dried, which helps to explain why genuine ink do not cause blockages. The ink arrived within two days and was well packaged .

This cartridge fitted my Canon i965 perfectly and works fine. The cartridge case and clip looked new but it wasn't shipped in Canon's original packaging and was slightly over-filled with ink which I got all over my fingers during installation. Perhaps it was a second rejected from Canon's production line? Anyway it seems to work fine so far.

These cannon bci-6bk cartridges seem to be getting harder to find in normal shops. I use only black in cartridges in my printer these days so finding them for £2.98 was a shock. It used to cost a fortune to replace a set of inks in my printer. These are originals from cannon and last a decent amount of pages, if you use them regularly.

As has already been mentioned a few times previously, stick with Canon's own inks for Canon printers. I used to use compatibles on my MP750 and ended up gumming up the printhead which I then had to replace. Since then, I have only used Canon inks and have had no more problems, and definitely get excellent results.

Ordered these from the on-line-shop. They came as two individual Canon Black cartridges and not in twin pack as show here. However they look exactly as a the canon ones I already have - so who cares how it arrives as long as there are 2 and they are genuine Canon ink cartridges. Which they are.

Canon own brand, therefore same functionality & quality as you'd expect from a non 'alternative' product. Great price from this supplier, delivered within timeframe, no outer cardboard packaging & therefore better for the environment (less packaging). Highly recommended.
