Makes bridges much easy to use - as reviewers have said - less squaks of frustration coming from the toddler trying to make their track.I do want to dispute another reviewer though - their review said that Mighty Red Action Locomotive (referred to in our house as 'Big Red') cannot pass under the stacking support if one is on top of another. I have tried with them stacked in cross formation, eg. top level goes north/south while bottom one goes east/west and Mighty Red Action Locomotive passes under just fine. The review stating the problem was written in 2018, so perhaps it was a problem before and Brio have since fixed it by making it taller?

After problems with bridges in Early Learning Centre and Tesco Carousel sets these are a revelation. Sturdy with no problems with clearance of trains passing underneath, and very flexible, great for improvised bridges and elevated sections, combined with curved track you can have a bridge that goes around a corner!Even the small wooden track piece is hollowed underneath to give more height clearance with track able to go between the legs.It is a shame there is only two in the pack, I'm sure I'll be buying another pack when son's birthday comes along!

These risers are amazing. The ones that came with our train set were a disaster. My son would be in tears by the end of play from having everything constantly plummet down, and we would be annoyed that he would keep coming to us for help every 10 seconds. We replaced ours with these ones recently ( as well the smaller - red topped ones - from BRIO ) and the set has yet to crumble. They are sturdy, good quality, durable and versatile. Very well thought through and makes the train set 100x more enjoyable.Highly recommend.

These are hands down the best Brio supports I have come across, because they are the most stable. For anyone with a rampaging crawling baby and a preschool train enthusiast, this is important for maintaining family peace. Your whole beautiful elevated track will not come crashing down at the touch of one fingernail if it is built on these.Alas, they are so expensive. We watch 'Izzy's Train Time' on youtube and see the amazing things we could build if only we had thirty of them. But it is not to be.

Any one who has set up a train track for their little one, only for them to immediately knock down the bridges balanced on the wooden supports will LOVE this product. The supports are really stable, and so they make hills stay up. Plus you can then have really long bridge sections, or, even stack them for a 3 level train track. I think I now as much fun building the track as my sons having playing with it!I think these supports are a must have, definitely worth every penny!

Like most people we looked to an alternative bridge support to the wooden blocks which you tend to get with a Brio set as our son would continually knock them over by mistake and get incredibly frustrated. These make such a difference as the track slots in to them and stay in position - they are hard to knock down unless you deliberately try. I'm sure we'll end up buying some more soon as our son loves bridges and the tunnels they create!

We have some very old Brio collected by my sons when we lived in Germany 30 years ago and it still looks as good as new. My grandson plays with it all the time when he visits. However, we find that the new battery trains will not go under the bridges that we have - they are slightly low. These supports are higher and allow the trains under. They are great. Will probably buy some more.

I bought a couple of packs of these for use with a fairly extensive Brio set and they have been really useful. It's great being able to build two-level tracks and my son has really enjoyed building new and daring things using them - there have been some interesting train-rollercoaster type creations. I would definitely recommend them for making your set more interesting.

My three year old son loves his wooden train set and these supports allow lots of different configurations of track to be created. Very versatile toy. I brought him four packs of two his birthday, so eight supports in total, sadly one of them has already broken from a ball being thrown at it. A bit disappointed it broke quite so easily within a couple of weeks.

Like all Brio products this is eye-wateringly expensive...however much better for younger children to build bridges with than the actual bridge sets. They can't be knocked over easily and provide maximum flexibility in terms of bridge layout. Very sturdy unlike the more recent Brio track pieces with plastic connectors...

We bought two just to give our boy's the options to build larger bridge and it's so easy for them to expand their trucks on the second level now. However, the sides are made out of plastic which will not last as long as the wooden counterparts. I guess Brio could have build the sides out of wood!

These supports are much better for younger children that others than can be easily tipped over. They are mostly made of tough plastic but with a wooden top. Quick expensive for what they are but you are paying for the Brio name and they are very well designed

Can't speak highly enough about these bridges. Originally bought 2 and when I realised how good they were bought 8 more. The stackable element is brilliant and as they're small bridge pieces are much more flexible than usual bridges you get. A must have.

These are a great addition to your wooden railway kit as they are versatile and you can build tracks of different heights. I just feel like they are rather expensive for what they are and you really need a few sets to get the full effect of using them.

Adds a fun element to building a track by allowing elevated sections. They're solid and hold the track well. They're even stackable, so you can create multi-level track systems — although you'd need more than two for the craziest systems!
