My sister and I had this clown when we were little and when my baby niece was born both our mother and I decided that most of the toys she would recieve from us would be Brio. It is made from sturdy wood and easily survives everything things a toddler can throw at it. The only reason I bought a new one instead of passing on our oridinal clown is that is still in ciclulation amongst new family members. Still going strong almost 30 years after it was purchased. I know this new clown will last as long. My only disappointment with this new clown is that the collar is slightly less detailed than I remember, but apart from that it is perfect.

Beautifully made, attractive to play with, a toy that doesn't give huge immediate reward but is a definite slow grower and will be played with in different ways as my toddler develops. Pulling the rings off entertains him for now, and trying to put one or two back on in any order. Eventually the challenge of putting all 8 pieces on in the correct order to make the clown should help develop logical thinking, concentration and determination.

Beautifully made stacking clown by Brio. My son was given one for his 1at birthday so bought one for my friend's son last week. It's a lovely toy. Challenging on many levels and there are so many things you can teach your child with it. Shapes, colours, facial features, hats, sizes. It's great and really really durable!! My 20-month old has now taken to throwing the pieces over his shoulder as far as he can and there's not a mark on them!

Out of all the presents our 12 month old son received this christmas (and there was a lot!), he found this one to be the most interesting by far. It is beautifully made with lovely bright colours and will withstand a huge amount of punishment from teeth, floors or even walls. Overall we are delighted with the purchase.

My daughter got this for her first birthday and immediately started stacking the clown. Lovely chunky pieces and easy to put on for her. I'm surprised to read it's for 36 months plus - maybe to stack it in the right order, which my little girl can't do yet ( and looking at the picture, I've done it wrong, too!)

The brio stacking clown was greatly appreciated , my grandson loved it, we bought it because it reminded us of the type of toy we would have had as children. It arrived exactly when they said it would and it was an instant hit. It still remains one of his favourites .

After reading several reviews (i was stuck on ideas to give a as gift to a year old child), this toy was perfect.Its simplicity allows the child to experiment with the shapes and develop their learning in such area!would definitely buy this again!

It must be good, we’ve had these in the family for 40 years, the latest being identical to the very first. My son loved it and now his son plays with one all the time. Solid, colourful and safe

My boy loves it, so it's a winner. Great quality pieces, dishwasher safe! Only had it in a couple of times but it's come out quite well. I haven't had a bad Brio toy yet,

Of the Brio toddler toys I bought recently this has been the biggest hit with chunky bright large wood pieces and a solid stand to put the pieces on in any order.

purchased as a present for grand daughter,over joyed with quality bright,eye catching and educational for hand to eye co-ordination.

This product is quite simple but still creates hours of fun for children whilst stacking the different blocks on and off the pole.

This was a birthday present for my little cousin, he loves it! It is brilliant. Lovely bright colours. Would recommend.
