One of the most interactive bridges available from Brio. Dexterity challenges / coordination required if you aren't using a battery powered train. The train will drop down the ramp while you work to crank the bridge or lift the barriers. Something for the kids to work out. It's fun and gives children a challenge. Quality Brio standard, this thing will last longer then me. My 3 year old loves it, I am not sure you want to be any younger to get it.I will note that one of two barriers were missing on arrival. So check your parts before your child gets too attached to it.Hope this helps?

I read the reviews of similar bridges by other brands and was concerned at the quality, so we splashed out our 3 year old's birthday money on this one. We as well as him have been very pleased with it - him because he likes bridges and it is a lovely addition to his railway set and he likes winding it up and down, and we because the quality is good (the rising track is supported at the top so it can safely be leant upon by little hands). I have only marked it down a star based on price, but ultimately the phrase "you get what you pay for" is probably true.

My little boy loves this bridge. He saw a lifting bridge on TV and was fascinated so I ordered this to go with his Brio. He enjoys lifting the bridge so his Brio cargo barge can pass underneath. It is good quality, as you would expect from Brio, and as a result is a bit pricey. It will definately stand the test of time though and will be able to be passed on to grandchildren in the distant future.

Excellent addition to our Brio train set for grandson who is 2. Original set was bought for his dad 30 years ago and is still in excellent condition. The bridge is great to play with and lots of stories are developed when doing so about bouts going under and cars etc. Great fun. It is extremely well made and sturdy, will definitely last.

Amazing as always with Brio! My little man got this for his third birthday, and he absolutely loves it!! The detail and the fact it makes them interact by actually having to do things, rather than they press a button and it's all electronic is just fab!! He talks away for ages making his trains do all sorts, love it!

Great price compared to what they are in the local toyshops. Really nice quality build and compatible with the cheaper supermarket bought non brio wooden train set we already have.Based on this product will buy more brio accessories for my son's birthday present.

You really can't go wrong with Brio, it is so well made and just lasts and lasts even with rough play. My son loves this bridge and finds the way it works fascinating. He is 6 years old and is still very fond of Brio! Makes a fun addition to any track.

My 3 year old boy loves to play with this bridge. He screws the little wheel to pull the bridge up and down- over and over again. In contrast to some other cheaper toys - this bridge stays in upright position, until you choose to lower it again.

This was part of our 2 year old Grandson's Christmas Presents. He already has the track and station and just knew this would be a great addition. He loves that he can lift the bridge himself and is happy playing with his train set.

We have one similar from when our son was small, he is now 33! Our grandson of 4 has always admired it, he has a set of Brio at our house, we bought him this for his birthday, needless to say it was a great buy!

My 3yr old Grandson LOVED this. Very well made as reflected in cost. Family all picked one set each to give him for birthday which was a great idea. He loves putting it all together with hours of fun.

This is a great product and my four year old grandson has had hours of fun with this since he was three years old. He's still playing with it, he likes watching his trains falls off the end.

Bought as a Christmas present for my five year old nephew who is a train enthusiast. Item appears sturdy and well designed. Great accessory and most importantly my nephew loved it!

Excellent addition to our track. We have quite a bit of track but this bridge is one of my sons favourites as it lifts and has barriers. We have had this for a few years now.

Sturdy bridge with the side rails, lifting wheel and barriers. Turning wheel is a little stiff but I am sure this will loosen in time and wouldn't deduct a star for that.
