I had this game bought for me by my Mom for the weekend and boy it was not a disappointment! This is one of the BEST games I've EVER played! It's true to the actual story of Brave and has fabulous graphics and the controls are superb! I had my game set to medium, but on some parts like the 'bosses' I had to change it to easy, perhaps this was because I hadn't had many bow or sword upgrades (you find these in chests throughout the game) but by the time I'd got to the last two or three stones in the Stone Circle (these are sort of the levels) I was almost having a new sword and bow a minute! I also ADORE the little Mini Games in the game where you play as Merida's brothers who have been turnedinto bears and have to solve a puzzle for her (this is usually to open a door or drawbridge)..they require some thought but aren't TOO troublesome. The graphics and story scenes are beautiful and what I like is that the voices are the same as from the film (at least for the British version). I also like the games enemies, not your usual wolves, bears and boars, but elemental creatures and shadow wolves, mandrakes and even harpies, this is a nice change from your 'usual' enemies. Altogether this is one of the BEST games I've ever played and I recommend it to all Brave fans and people just looking for a good game alike!

The graphics really capture the look of the film and the voice acting in the game is spot on. The first level takes place in the woods which has these black wolves and tree type men for you to dispatch of with your bowing arrow or trusty sword. The levels are well constructed with fun combat, platforming and easy enough puzzles for the younger player to be able to work out. Princess Merida's mum has been turned into a bear a when she made a deal with a witch and now she must find a way of breaking this magicial curse. Even her three brothers have been turned into baby bears and you use them sometimes to solve puzzles. What is great fun is when you are given control of mother bear to take the enemies on with. The are many up grades you can buy to improve your weapons and there are different types of powers that you can find for your bow. The bow is a far more effective weapon then the sword in my humble opinion. Part from

I really like this game and had bought it for my daughter who isn't 12 yet. Unfortunately she lost interest soon which I guess is down to the age. So don't buy it just because you like Brave (which is what we did), make sure it's age appropriate and if the child is under 12 I wouldn't be bothered again. However if your child is over 12, this game is fun and as said, I enjoyed playing it.

I bought this game for my 7 year old daughter because I thought the movie was great: The first Disney movie with a real heroine and no parents offed in the beginning! It has very nice graphics and exciting challenges, though some are a little bit too difficult for the 7 y/o (jumping on walls etc).

I can't believe some people!!!!! The game is rated "12" so why are people surprised with the game, when they are allowing their children to play a game that's clearly not suitable. O yes the game,,,,,,,,,, it's pretty good but please accept its rated 12 for a reason.

Bought this for my soon to be 9 year old! Quite easy to play. Pretty straight forward so definitely recommend it if your child is into sword, bows etc etc.... I enjoyed the game myself too that's a lot for a 30+ old adult.

not too difficult a game completed quite quickly . Possibly a bit too short but nevertheless entertaining some levels more demanding than others.I bought this so my grandson could also play it after I'd finished with it.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter. She loves this game and enjoys the challenge of each level. I wasn't very keen on the second player being the 'wisp' but my 8 year old son likes it.

Arrived quickly and bought for christmas hence delay in reviewing item - my eldest daughter (13) loves it but some of the modes she has struggled with, which slightly puts her off.

This is a fun game for novice or occasional players of any age and you don't even need to have seen the film to enjoy (but not really for more heavyweight gamers)

Bought this for my 3 girls aged 11,8 and 7 (after going to the cinema to see the film) for their christmas and they love it. Would recommend seeing the film first

Great film with a story, really enjoyed it another great Disney production. Effects were very cleverly done, the things that can be done on computers these days.
