With both dolls, i.e. Skipper & the toddler, included, the set comes in a colourful cardboard blister pack that measures around 21.5 cm x 32 cm x 6 cm (max). The reverse shows the key functionality (image below refers).Skipper stands around 26 cm high, the toddler around 10.5 cm & the highchair around 16 cm high. The box description states that colours can vary but the set I received is exactly as shown on the presentation box and in the current stock images above. The short video above shows some of the potential playability. The legs of both dolls are jointed at the hips so the dolls can sit, although long legged Skipper is very angular looking! On the latter, one or two hairs may need trimming off as they are longer than the rest and a few were deciduous on release from the packaging, in the set I received.ooOoo(Barbie) SKIPPER BABYSITTERREF: GHV87‘Made in Indonesia’ooOooThe first challenge is the inevitable removing from the packaging with ties galore that need cutting. Care needs to be taken around Skipper’s waist length mid-brown tresses, with a fashionable purple streak that matches her bootees! There are also 2 independent plastic topped ties in the back of her head that (I assume) need removing (image below refers). It is hard to do this without leaving a sharp end, in my experience. The 6 little accessories are very hard to extricate from the blister packaging at the top of the pack, also in my experience, the little pink mug in particular. The toddler, with soft head and moulded blonde hair, has the innovative new lever in the back, which is through a hole in the velcro-type opening on the back of her dress. Age depending, this may not appeal to all, also IMO. It is on the jerky side on the doll I received. The mug is designed to slide behind her moulded fingers, which is a bit fiddly. I find that the ice cream ‘clip’ is too pliable to stay on the finger/s (of either doll) and the spoon, with a more solid type ‘clip’, can be manipulated but sits at a funny angle, unless we are doing something wrong! The toddler’s heart embellished dress & flat red shoes can be removed. The fuchsia & purple coloured trike is functional, and the handlebar manually turns but sitting on it, the toddler looks like she needs the next size up!Skipper is also soft headed and has the permanently crooked, left arm which is handy for carrying the toddler but can make changing outfits a challenge, if you have other clothes. The shorts have a velcro-type close, but, unfortunately, the T-shirt doesn’t. It can be removed but takes some dexterity and infinite patience! The aforementioned flat bootees look they can be removed but we have failed to find the knack in that respect so far.The highchair has a neat heart shape cut out in the back so the lever action on the toddler doll can easily be manipulated. The base stabiliser detaches at both sides for folding and could be something that is easily lost (image below refers). The white tray is removable but fiddly to replace, although the toddler fits behind it in situ. The footrest is adjustable in height. The cereal, milk carton and bowl have circular extensions on the bottom that successfully slot into the inserts on the tray, of which there are two. There isn’t really the space to have more than the two items on the tray, e.g. the mug, as well. The box states that the ‘Dolls cannot stand alone’…it is actually possible with the right balance (& patience with Skipper), as seen in the photo shoot below![30 images attached]

Normally with these baby-centric sets, I'm just in it for the Barbie (or in this case, Skipper), but in this set the baby & baby accessories are really cool! The "baby" is toddler age, with cute little hair buns & an adorable outfit with little red hearts & blue stripes. The doll has a little button at her back that makes her lift her arm to her face for eating & drinking, but it's small & unobtrusive so she can wear any toddler outfit from any other set. The high chair is good, sits stable when assembled & folds for storage, though I'm concerned that the stability bar at the bottom will get lost pretty easily. My favorite is the bright pink tricycle with purple wheels, it's super cute!!For mealtime, you have cereal (obviously Cheerios) & milk, with a bowl & spoon, plus an ice cream cone for dessert and a cup that isn't spillproof so maybe that belongs to Skipper? All accessories except for the ice cream & the spoon have that tab at the bottom which fits perfectly into the divots in the high chair tray, which means a) they won't tip over, and b) maybe it'll take slightly more time before they get lost! These are all the same standard size tabs & divots as every other set, so you can mix & match your accessories, in case you want to store your dorm room or have the baby drink a pina colada instead, lolSkipper is pretty standard, in fact I already have at least one of the exact same Skipper doll with the brown hair & purple streak. Striped crop top & jeans shorts are nothing particularly special, but the purple high tops that match the streak in her hair are cute, plus they stay on her feet a lot easier than the sneakers that came with the travel Skipper set. Overall a very nice addition to the Babysitters Inc line of Skipper sets!

This is a nice playset and my daughter has got a lot of enjoyment from it. It's lovely to be able to get Skipper toys as she is a main character in the Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures tv show. The Skipper doll is dressed in fashionable clothes and wears flat purple boots, she has a flat foot shape so will suit flat shoes. The little toddler doll wears a yellow jumpsuit.Unfortunately though the quality of the high chair isn't great, and the bottom bar that hold the legs has snapped! Luckily I have managed to glue it back together again. The high chair itself is a bit spindly overall, I would have expected a slightly better quality from the Barbie range so this is why I gave the set four stars. The various accessories and tricycle are a nice addition to the set,and there is a little holder on the high chair table to stick the accessories into. The toddler doll has a little lever in her back that you press to move her hand up and down as she feeds herself, which is a nice addition but my daughter found it a bit off putting. She didn't seem to play with her outside of the high chair game and she can only wear clothes with a piece cut out for the lever in her back. But that may not be an issue for other kids.

The Barbie doll and her ‘family’ has withstood the test of time as a toy. She captures the imagination with her many fashions and jobs resulting in hours of playtime. It’s always refreshing to see Barbie’s little sister Skipper. This is one of the Babysitter’s sets. This set includes Skipper (Barbie is too busy being a Doctor, Astronaut, Computer Engineer, etc. to babysit) and a young doll. There is a high chair, scooter and tons of little items such as; Barbie cereal, an ice cream cone, milk, a bowl etc. There is a lot of attention to detail here - from the cow print on the milk carton to the purple streaks in Skipper’s hair - so cute! All these pieces add up to lots of fun for the little Barbie lover. The small child doll can enjoy her ice cream and a mug of milk in her high chair or take a ride in her scooter all under the watchful eye of Skipper. My granddaughter is not quite old enough for this yet with it’s small parts. But it will be there for when she’s ready. Personally I can’t wait to play with the set with her!

A nice set of dolls skipper and a toddler , skipper looks like a Barbie with long brown soft hair and a bit of purple on a side that looks fashionable and modern, wears a crop too and pair of shorts with Velcro at the bag and a pair of purple shoes , arms and legs moves but the plastic is a bit rigid. The little doll has a yellow hair with two buns but is all plastic , a pretty short dress and pink shoes , has a little lever at the back that if press down will move her arm up miming the eating action . The set has a few accessories like a high chair with detachable table , a pink motorbike and a bowl , a cup, a spoon , an ice cream cone ,milk and cereals all looking authentic and sturdy plastic .It supposed that the toddler eat by himself if put the spoon or the ice cram in her hand but to be honest u can't really do that , doesn't fit so drop one star for this , otherwise a good set for little girls to play .

Barbies are a big hit in this house, my girls have got ones they have bought and they have also got mine from when I was little. (Like 25 years old)We have been collecting the skipper babysitters dolls so this was another one to add to our collection. This is so realistic and well made (what you would expect from Mattel) this is from the feeding theme range - comes complete with 2 dolls (skipper and a toddler)You get a highchair, scooter, food like a cartoon of milk, box of cereal and a ice cream and much more.Come complete with a spoon, bowl and cup and my daughter loves the fact the toddler can actually feed her self as her arms move up and down with a pull from the lever.Only trouble thisrange the toddlers don’t actually have hair but it’s plastic like her body and I’m not sure why?

While my four-year-old daughter likes regular Barbie and Ken, she particularly loves the ones with the babies and little kids, I think there is something about them that feels a little more relatable to her, with the childlike proportions and activities that she understands, like having a bath, riding a tricycle, etc. The babies and toddlers are clearly the star of the show for her, while Barbie and Skipper are the little girls friends. This one is really fun, the tricycle is a very cute touch, and the feeding action in the high chair is a big hit. Who doesn't love feeding a baby? My daughter has been really enjoying all of the fun pretend activities to do with this and it has kept her busychatting to herself and doing fun playing for some time.

This is a wonderful Barbie set. My daughters really love Barbie. They can just play with her for hours. They love this because of all the accessories it comes with. It is nice because they can play with it for a long time. They have a nice collection now and play with them altogether. It’s nice that this comes with extra stuff because it gives them a direction with which to play.I am always happy with the quality of the Barbie dolls. They really last nicely. The accessories are okay. If they are careful they will last but they can’t be too rough.I think these make great gifts, too. I like that they are playing with dolls instead of staring at screens. These are durable and last a long time.I would recommend them.

Barbie Skipper babysitters is brilliant, first of skipper moves to like she is eating the ice cream or cereal and the imagination can help with other foods, the dolls are really well made with high quality painted faces and hair. The rest of the little pieces are made to a good quality also, it has been played nearly every day with since receiving it. You can used the set in a number of ways which has encouraged imagination. The pieces are an ideal size for little hands although as the age rating states the toy is for 3+ due to small parts. Any children would love to feeding the baby in the high chair & play on the bike, Definitely recommend this for any imagination & role play

This classic toy didn’t disappoint my niece. She hasn’t had a Barbie before, and her mother was surprised at how much enjoyment she got from it. The Barbie's hair has coped with multiple styling my niece and still feels silky smooth! She came with a toddler and accessories which facilitated lots of play. My niece gave it 10/10 ?. My only issue with these types of toys is keeping all the bits together once opened; which is more about having a designated place to keep them. My niece has always played with larger dolls whereas the barbie is a handy size to take to Granny’s or away on holiday to keep her occupied.

This is a lovely set of dolls priced at £22.00 for skipper and a toddler. Play out a babysitting role and encourage kids to be responsible by looking after the toddler. This is a feeding themed play-set - you get a high chair and some food to feed them. There is a switch on the back of high chair to make toddlers arm go up and down to feed themselves. Not overly realistic but still fun. When feeding time is over toddler can go play on their tricycle until next time. Both dolls are finished well and skipper has her unique purple streak look. This is sure to be a hit with fans of barbie.

I like that these sets come in boxes that you can actually see what you are getting. This is part of the Barbie range of dolls and accessories. The doll in this pack is Skipper who is baby sitting a girl toddler. Although the range of Barbie dolls have limited movement the toddler can go through the motion of feeding herself, with the aid of moving a small lever in her back. She also comes with the high chair, small accessories and a three wheeled cycle. There are plenty of interaction opportunities with the dolls and child. A timeless product.

Barbie's little sister isn't so little anymore and is now running her own babysitting service, apparently! Skipper is a pretty traditional Barbie-style doll (though with a purple streak in her hair...), and this set also includes a toddler in a high chair and 5 different food items for her to eat. The chair has a lever in the back to control her arms so you can make her eat. It's a cute gimmick that gives added playability to the set. It's a nice set overall but as always, I think it's just a tad overpriced for what it is....

This was a great choice for my 5 year old daughter's first Barbie. The set is lovely and well made - the little girl and the high chair + all accessories make it a dream for every little child that likes playing with dolls. It would have been even nicer to have at least one more piece of clothing for the big doll but that's not an issue - she can easily wear outfits from other similar sets. You definitely get quality when it comes to the Barbie brand - I'm sure we'll be buying more of these dolls in the near future.

This set can be purchased for about £19 but beware there are a lot of small bits in this set so definitely not suitable for children under 3 years old.Along with Barbie, you get Skipper, in her highchair. You also get; an ice cream cone, spoon, cup with handles the dolls can hold, carton of milk, box of cereal, bowl, and a push buggy.Barbie has a permanently bent elbow which can be a bit annoying at times when I play with her during my daughters games. She does have a funky punk purple streak in her hair.
