This Barbie (No.126 in the series of Fashionista Barbies) reflects the girl of today. Or at least what a lot of girls today dream about. She is long-legged, tanned and beautiful. She is one of a series of dolls who wear the clothes one sees on TV and in the magazines, or at home and in everyday life. She is the girl who goes to the Caribbean, the Maldives or some other exotic location for holidays and fun. Her skirt and top (in the bandeau type) are tropical with pink flowers amd green leaves on a lovely yellow background. She has long, shiny, blonde hair, tied back in a pink headband, which can be combed and brushed and plaited into styles. On her feet, she wears cream trainers.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. This is one of the "Fashionista" range of Barbie dolls, is more heavily tanned than the standard Barbie but retaining the blonde hair, and of a more "normal" body shape (not so skinny). It isn't multi-jointed like some of the figures and comes wearing a floral dress, a hairband and white tennis shoes. It is also more reasonably priced, at £10. I found it to be well made, some reviewers have reported problems with her hair coming out but I have not encountered such a problem thus far. Of course the real reviewer here is my granddaughter and she loved the doll and didn't comment at all on her body shape: the new doll fitted in with the other Barbie's and Disney figures from "Frozen" that make up her collection.

Arrived speedily and signed for with courier , in an amazon branded cardboard envelope .The first thing you will notice when you open this Barbie from the Fashionista collection is that she is a girl of colour , The fashionista series of Barbies is focusing ion Diversity , I have some mixed race grandchildren and it's rare they get to play with dolls that are " the same as them " .This Barbie came in a pretty floral dress , and as soon as my granddaughter saw it she fell in love , Barbies arms and legs move as does her head .Barbie is a huge name and every little girl wants one . I rejoice that they are celebrating cultures with this range of dolls . Worth every single penny of it's price .

This is a classic Barbie doll, with a pretty outfit. Her arms and legs are fixed – she does sit, but neither her knees, or elbows, bend. She has a simple sundress and flat shoes and her face is different from other Barbie dolls I have seen, as it has dimples. Her hair is long with a hair-band and can be styled. The Fashionistas range attempts to have dolls who reflect society – so some dolls have different ethnicities or larger body shapes, than the average Barbie doll. This is a very stylish, pretty doll and a nice addition to my daughter’s collection. My daughter feels that it is a good thing to have dolls with a more realistic body shape and I agree with her.

Barbie Fashionistas offers wide variety of skin tones, eye colours, hair colours and textures, body types and fashions and that's what I like the most. These Fashionistas dolls are designed to reflect the real world girls see today, hence giving them chance to express their style by dressing them and accessorise them.My wife is very happy with the new doll.

Doll #126 Multicolour Dress BarbieComes in a nice clear package showing off the Barbie Doll inside.The doll itself is good quality, it is painted accurately, the hair and joints are of a good standard and the dress is stitched nicely. Durability will not be an issue.The colourful dress and packaging look nice and it does give off a fashionable look that matches this dolls fashionista series name.My daughter loves her new doll and has played with it regularly since getting it as a gift.Overall a nice Barbie Doll that is perfect for its price.

Huge packaging for a basic doll. I’ve waited over 30 years for a realistic doll and this one delivers in a few ways. It has realistic sizing. For once it’s a doll that has wide hips and legs. It’s broad in places it should be instead of anorexic and big busted. The let down? ALL of the Fashionistas should have had moveable limbs/joints. This Barbie won’t even bend her legs to sit. Cmon Mattel! You want to own the market?! Make the Dolls moveable!!!Disappointed Barbie is rigid...

I loved Barbie's as a child and I hoped to use this one to my daughters interested in them.The style of the Barbie is good, the dress is pretty, her makeup is balanced etc. The quality of the doll is however not as good as I remember. Her hair is thin (bald patches) and the skin on her arms is not smooth (bumpy and patchy).Overall she is ok for the price but doesn't feel or look like the high quality dolls that I previously considered a Barbie to be.

Great cute doll, but hit and miss regarding quality. Made in Indonesia hence a pixelated face, not as bad for this one as I've seen on others. Hair a bit thin in the headband area but nice hair nevertheless. Cute face but you can get a doll with wonky or different sizes eyes. If one can have a look at more dolls before buying, you can really get a good enough one. If you don't mind the pixelated face that is.The sculpt is New dubbed "dimples" so far

This is one of the better quality Barbie dolls.Her hair is good quality, after playing you can brush it and reforms back into a good style.The clothes are good quality, nicely stitched.Her skin tone is consistent all over.The plastic molding join marks are minimal compared to other Barbie dolls I have reviewed. So this one seems much better quality.My daughter loves playing with her.

Nice looking doll, with realistic body shape (not to slim like a typical barbie doll) but the quality of the plastic is slightly different then the Barbie I know and my daughter plays with. The dress looks pretty and is sewn nicely too. End of the day is not bad for £10. Other barbie dolls which are better quality costs obviously more. My daughter loves it and played all day today.

This Barbie has really overdone the spray tan, sealants to audition for Love island so she can become a ' celebrity ' and then go on other vacuous reality programmes. Okay that's my imaginative play with this doll . But really with this range of fashionistas doll the world is your playground. She is a pretty doll with a bright happy dress and a over tanned complexion.

This is a nice barbie, I like her dress.However this Barbie is a little boring . For the same price you can get a barbie dressed up as an astronaut for example which I think is much more fun and Inspiring a toy that just a pretty girl in a lovely dress.It is good value for money at under £10 but its just a little simplistic.

My daughter calls this SUN TAN BARBIE, she certainly looks like shes been out on the beach a while. Very nice, colourful and fashionable doll/outfit as you’d expect from the Barbie range. The hairs lovely and she enjoys brushing it. Very good doll for the price, entry level..no accessories really.

I like the tan, slightly curvier figure and strawberry blonde hair. Her outfit is really pretty, the only negative is that the outfit looks poorly made. You can see excess stitching hanging off and she has clear plastic straps on the dress that are really thick and obvious.
