I love this Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Body Wash, it feels creamy and is unscented and paraben free. Aveeno use colloidal oatmeal in this body wash as well as avenanthramides which are naturally found in oats. The body wash comes in a large 300ml oatmeal coloured plastic bottle with a light blue flip up top which works cleanly and releases just the right amount through a small hole. This body wash cleanses really well and leaves your skin beautifully moisturised and immediately dry itchy skin feels calmer and itch free. The nice thing about this product is that although it is fairly expensive a little goes a long way.My granddaughter who is three years of age, suffers badly with eczema on her arms, feet and behind her knees. We have tried many different products and have received the best results using 'Aveeno Dermexa Products' including this body wash. The other products in this range are:

I've used the shower oil and hated it. It left my skin horribly sticky. This is far superior. It's a fluid cream wash containing, glycerine, oat flour, oat kernel extract and ceramide 3.It does contain a sulphate. Sodium tridceth. All sulphates are not created equally but if you're trying to avoid all those products be aware.Traditionally oats have been used as an emollient and that's what the range is based on.It does leave my skin feeling soft and if you're in a rush you can get away without using a body lotion if your skin is healthy, however, if you do suffer from dry skin conditions or currently have an outbreak I think you will still need a lotion.I get eczema that affects just my hands and feet so I'm careful not to use anything too drying and as anyone with eczema knows it's often a case of trial and error to find what works for you.

I've suffered from various skin problems for over 30+ years. I stumbled across a news story where someone was raving about this product. I'd tried Aveena products before but with no success (the range in the green packaging) but out of desperation I thought I'd order one of these and it has been a revelation. The various creams that my GPs have ordered down the years are all total rubbish compared to this. The various steroid creams are also rubbish as they thin the skin.I had a really bad attack on my arms, legs and back but after one application this had calmed it all down.My family and I were amazed.I'd never really seen this Aveena range in the shops, either that or never really noticed it but if you have skin problems it has got to be worth the money and at least one try.A superb cream for me and my skin problems.

As someone who has suffered with eczema pretty much all his life I will always try something that will help my skin. A lot of products both natural and synthetic haven't worked for me (emu oil soap, anyone?), but I'm happy to report this emollient body was does make my skin feel softer and irritation free. It's based on oats andThe rather liquid cream is pretty much the same colour as the bottle and a little goes a long way. There is no discernible smell or scent of the emollient, which is good. After showering I find my skin feels soft and irritation free. I do use an unscented moisturiser afterwards as my skin has suffered with the cold outside and dry central heating inside over winter, but this is the best it's felt in a long time.

A very gentle emollient body wash that has virtually no odour and therefore avoids the unnecessary addition of perfumes that can irritate skin. The product lathers well and feels very pleasant to use. It is somewhat pricey but the quality is very good and a little goes a long way, especially if using a sponge or similar. The product is particularly good for either or both of dry skin and sensitive skin. It moisturises while it cleans. For normal skin its moisturising effect may mean that you wouldn't need a further body cream.A very nice product, but one best suited to sensitive and dry skins where the cost is justified by the improvements in skin comfort.

How softening and soothing is Aveeno? Aw I love it! I've used Aveeno products on and off for years, especially following two c-sections when both times I came out in a rash afterwards. A little goes a long way in the shower and your skin is left feeling incredibly moisturised but without the need for much product at all. I get dry patches on my knees and elbows (linked to something called Dermatitis Herpetiformis as part of my Coeliac Disease) and sometimes it gets too sore for other shower gels or creams and this has been doing the job perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone, not just someone with skin problems.

This is great. I have OCD and wash a lot in the shower. Even SIMPLE shower gel causes some dryness of the skin. This stuff is great because it doesn't dry the skin but it does foam up like a regular shower gel. In all honesty, I can't afford to use this product, but if I could, I'd definitely buy it and use it as my shower wash product. If you have some other condition affecting your skin and can moderate your use of this product in a cost-effective way, then I would definitely recommend you give it ago.

This was my last resort ordering this product. I had a really bad itchy pregnancy rash all over my body, I tried everything I could find for it and nothing worked even prescriptions from the doctor. After using this the first few times the itch was gone and slowly my rash healed and started to dissappear.Originally they thought it was a PUPPS rash but turned out just to be hormonal due to pregnancy.I highly recommend if nothing else has worked give it a go. It was a life saver for me.

I suffer bouts of eczema. I tried all different products and none works. So I googled for suggestions and this was first on the list. So I came here to order. It had such good reviews I couldn't believe what I was reading and didn't think my eczema would clear up quickly as the reviews had suggested. But I was so pleased when after only a week it was almost cleared up. I wish I had taken before and after photo's but to be honest I didn't think it would work.

This body wash has an almost neutral impact on the skin and is great for those with eczema and other skin conditions. We use this on our children and they do seem to react less to this then other products. My wife feels it leaves their skin much softer too so all in all this is a product that we'd recommend. It is a gentle body wash and well worth trying if you have a skin condition and need to be careful what you put on it.

I really like this - I got recommended the brand after having a tattoo. This body wash is super soft, lathers well and deals with sensitive skin perfectly. Has a neutral to no smell, as it's made from oats it mildly has that smell if you sniff hard, but mostly it's neutral. Aveeno can be pricey but i'm going to use it now from now on if I can - i'm really happy with it and it's completely non skin-reactive, that I need.

I'm a big fan of the entire Aveeno range, the moisturisers in particular are incredibly effective and this body wash has been great on my daughter's sometimes dry skin, however the only thing about it that is slightly frustrating is that the wash takes a lot of washing off, if you have a squirmy toddler in the bath this can sometimes be a challenge, but it comes down to whether the benefits outweigh the downsides.

I have sensitive skin - as do others in the house - so I automatically look out for things that are suitable for sensitive skin. I have had great success with Aveeno products before and thought I'd give this one a go - I'd never used an Aveeno emollient before. It works really well on my dry, excema prone skin and isn't harsh at all. It makes my skin feel hydrated and soft. Super for everyday use!

I have used aveeno products before and they haven’t made much difference except for the hand cream (green one) then I saw this. I have had really bad eczema recently on my neck and chest and my usual stuff was helping nor was hydrocortisone cream. Then I tried this and within one day my eczema has virtually all gone. Amazing. I have bought the shower gel as well. Would thoroughly recommend.

I have struggled for years to find a wash for my son . He has very very dry skin that is prone to flare ups and reacts with parabens .I cannot find anything other than the old aveeno oil that actually makes his skin feel soft . This has been a life saver especially as he has gone though a very bad patch lately . I just hope they don’t change the ingredients or discontinue it !
