My 6 year old granddaughter was delighted with this and very quickly worked out how to sew the pieces together. The needles are plastic, not easy to thread with the thick thread and a bit 'bendy' - but apart from that it's a good introduction to sewing.

Really pleased with this. I brought it for my 9 year old daughter. Only problem was parcel was left by front door so anyone could of taken it and no note posted through letterbox meaning if it had been stolen I would not of known it had been delivered.

Although my daughter (age 8) hasn't really used it much yet. The kit seems to be a good educational item which will teach a young person the early stages of how to sew.The case is well made and looks good.The kit is priced reasonably.

I bought this for my daughter who has never really sewn before and she loved it. She found everything in it easy to use and has make some cute stuffed toys with the content very well.

I have not seen the item as it went direct to my grandson but when I spoke to him he was thrilled with it. Delivery was excellent ordered it on a Sunday delivered Monday.

A lovely first sewing kit for my 8 year old granddaughter. She wanted to get started staright away! She loved all the little extras such as the pins and pincushion.

I bought this for my seven year old grand daughter and she loves it. Its full of bits and bobs for sewing. It's helped her to get very interested in needle work.

This was bought as a birthday gift for my 8 yr old niece and she absolutely loved it. Lots of items in the kit to keep her happily sewing for a while yet

Purchased for Christmas for my granddaughter aged 4.5 years. She loved it and made one of the animals on Boxing Day - though it was a joint effort!

i recommend it, my daughter was very happy! Very educational, but attention: needles are real! Kid schouldnt play with it alone!

What a great little kit! Bought for my 9 year old daughter, it's not babyish at all. Proper pins etc, lots to keep us occupied.
