Just got the chair in today, and wow is it an upgrade from my last chair. Set up wise, took all of 10 min by myself, incredibly easy set up, and it seems like the vendors listened to their customers and made the instruction sheet ALOT more understandable. All the tools and even some kind gripping gloves were included, making set up that much easier. In terms of the chair itself, im 6'1 225 lbs, and the chair fits me like a glove. The head rest fits perfectly into my cervical spine (neck area), giving support perfectly when i put my head back. And when I want a more "relaxed" feel, just ever so slightly push the pillow up to the bottom of my head, where its just like a comfortable pillow, and the same goes for the lumber support pillow. The 4D arm rests are great, though I do understand the frustration of some commenters regarding the swivel capability of the armrests. Since they do NOT lock into place (swivel only) it does move from time to time, but unlike other commentors I actually appreciate it, as it allows my elbow to stay in place, and if I have a long mouse movement, it can shift itself to a more comfortable position, which is why I beleive the designers probably do not implement a locking system for the swivel.Lastly the wings is the base cushion does slightly hug the outside of my thighs, again personally for me I enjoy it, makes my legs/butt feel they are "in place" in the chair, though I havent say in it long enough yet to see long term comfort yet, will update if my opinions change, so if nothing is edited, assume it is still comfortable.Overall, price was a little high, but I looked into comparable chairs for some time now, and between the metal framework, comfortable cushions, highly adjustable everything, and lay flat capability, great warranty I am so happy I went with this chair, I just hope it last as long as they say it will.

I've had this chair for nearly a year now. I always wait a while to write product reviews, because it never fails that once you've submitted a raving review on a product you've instantly fallen in love with, it falls apart.Assembly:Took me less than an hour to assemble the chair, while also taking care of an 18-month-old by myself. She managed not to eat any of the parts.Comfort:Easily the most comfortable chair I've ever owned. I was actually really worried that the recliner portion would end up tipping me on my head because I'm a bit overweight, but it feels incredibly well-balanced when laid all the way back, even at nearly 300 lbs. I've actually fallen asleep accidentally in this thing quite a few times.Only complaint on comfort is that I have to keep moving the lumbar support up, it kind of slides down because I slump in my chair a lot.Sturdiness:Holds up incredibly well. I have historically gone through the $100 Walmart office chairs about every six months. After nearly a year, this chair still looks like I just pulled it out of the box yesterday. Not a single screw has come loose, no parts have any signs of cracking. I actually expected the covering to wear out by now, but even that looks like it hasn't ever been sat on.Popularity:This is "the chair" in my house. All of my guests sit in this chair if I just tell them to go in the room and have a seat. I mean, it's clearly the chair I would sit in, in front of my computer, but children and adults alike choose this chair, ignoring the actual recliner and the two couches. I have to threaten to sit on people to get them out of my chair.

I'm 6'3" and 225 lbs. I chose this chair because I wanted a tall (high-up) chair with a deep seating surface for lots of thigh support and a relaxed knee angle. This chair has one of the deepest seats on the market.Pros:-Good quality materials. Like all chairs in this price range, this is imitation leather, but it feels nice.-Looks good-Lots of adjustability, recline, and rocking settings to make just about anyone comfortable.-Lumbar support pillow and neck pillow are very useful. I like that the lumbar pillow adjusts up and down and stays in place fairly well.-The casters are nice and the chair rolls quite smoothly-Packaging was nice and assembly fairly easy except finding the bolt holes byfeel when assembling the seat to the seatback.Cons:-The side bolsters on the seat surface are needlessly narrow and aggressive and force my legs to point forward, even though I'm not a particularly wide guy. Maybe over time they will wear in.-I don't particularly like the armrests. I wish they were 3D instead of 4D. The extra function to rotate in the horizontal plane is too easy to change just by leaning against the armrests or using them to brace. It is also fairly useless because the possible positions of the armrests has very large steps (pointed straight ahead, then angled in and out at ~30 degrees). I don't think anyone needs their armrests to be angled that much. They also become floppier than they need to due to the extra degree of freedom, though they are still pretty steady. I do like the soft material they are made of.

Okay husbands loves the chair, but had to make mods to it!The wings on the seat are to close together and ride your leg bones. He’s 5’8 270lbsBut he said it was a easy fix but takes 15 min out of your day to fix if you have the right tools .In total it took him 30min to fix and 15 min to find the tools...He used a 1x3 to go diagonal across the top of the wing and a 1/4x6x12 piece of wood to go under the 1x3 so the 1x3 wouldn’t Pierce the seatThen he used a 12” C clamp and clamped from the bottom of the chairs arm which is almost 1/4 thick steel . To the wood 1x3 going diagonal and he cracked down hard as it would go then took wooden rubber Mallet and sledged on it until it opened to the properdistance. The chair was fully assembled when making mods.To be honest if your not shaped like a stick you will want to do this mod!The chair is well built and my husband was full force swings no baby taps lol.The chair can take it no problem. On other notes the chair is not as soft as he thought it would be . But he said it felt right and the fake leather is really soft to the touch. This is his first expensive chair. We have always got the $175 and thought it’s time for a upgrade. On a side noteThe chair is so well built it’s heavy and if you have to take it up to your second floor because your office in your house is up there ,well let’s just say damn.We purchased theAk racing chair master series PremiumHappy shopping

I have been playing games and developing software professionally for a long, long, long time. As a result, I have sat in a number of different chairs. I was skeptical about what a chair in this price range would feel/look like but I have been extremely impressed with this model. The key for me is in the level of adjustment that is possible with the arm rests and Lumbar support. I can have a completely different position for my right arm than my left which relieves pressure on my mouse hand/arm in a different place - right where I need it. The lumbar pillow slides up and down for adjustment, and once set, stays where it needs to with the elastic straps. The chair base is rock solid and when I sit in the seat I feel like I am about to launch for a long journey to Mars (Or get some serious work done on those pesky microservices I need to build). I bought the solid black version for my office and it fits like a glove. Highly recommended / great value for this price range.

Great chair until you sit on it. The upturned wings on the seat bottom dig into your hips bad. Very uncomfortable. I bought this chair because it was supposed to be for bigger people. I’m 6’ 250 and I’m disappointed. Without the upturn on the seat this would be the perfect chair. ###Update### I was able to use a rubber mallet and with a couple of good strikes I got the wings to widen a bit. Now the chair is very comfortable and doesn't hurt anymore. Now I took the chair completely apart to isolate the seat on the ground before I used the mallet. However, I bet it could have been done without taking it apart. I would definitely recommend this chair to others.

Unfortunately, I am unable to assemble the chair due to a manufacturer defect. There is a tear in the side of the chair; the screwholes do not align with the thing that attaches the seat to the back of the chair, making assembly impossible.Update: I managed to assemble the chair and am updating my review. The assembly manual ought to make it clear that the chair must be in a fully upright position to align with the screwholes. Secondly, I’d love to see memory foam fleece neck/back pillow, like Maingear gaming chairs. Other than that, this chair is a significant upgrade from my office chair.

This chair feels damn good to sit in. I was skeptical buying a 400 dollar gaming chair but did some research and pulled the trigger. Best 400 dollar purchase I have made. The quality is great and it can basically do everything its advertised. I wish it could actually adjust the chair height and head pillow even lower. I'm a 5'6 but the issues are very minor and I am not too bothered if at all. Some kinks in the leather but does not take away from function and comfort, just the aesthetics. Overall great gaming chair upgrade.

I first purchased a Ficmax chair, when it arrived it was missing the wheels and hyrolic center post, so I returned it and purchased this. When I opened the package for the AKRacing, it was missing one screw and the Allen wrench that tightened that screw. Since it was just for a cosmetic piece, I went ahead and assembled the chair. The AKRacing is sturdy, comfortable and responsive, not to leave out that it adds a little pizazz to my game room.

The first chair that was sent to me was damaged out of the box and I had to return it. This one I did have a tiny scratch on a piece of plastic but I decided since it was black nobody’s going to notice. The instructions for assembly are terrible. My cat was more helpful than the so-called instructions that came with this chair. It did go together pretty easily. It looks good will see what kind of quality I get for this absurd price point.

Overall, this is a fantastic chair with a great build quality. The cushion is firm but not uncomfortable. The only problem is the wings. Unless you are skinny, this will not work for you. For reference, I am 5’ 6” and around 230 lb. The chair worked ok height wise, but the seat area is way too narrow. The wings literally dig into the hips and become painful over time.

Nice Chair but if you got wide legs you might want to buy the MAX version. Neck pillow could be slightly larger and Lumbar pillow could be smaller. A bit worried about the seams on front. I will have to watch them because they seem to be coming loose on sewing. overall nice and soft fits like a racing chair should.

I love How comfy this chair is, along with the option to recline. However, assembling this chair took a little over a hour. The directions were not helpful and ended up looking up a video on YouTube to put it together bc it was so frustrating.

19.5.2019

Very comfortable, sturdy and high quality materials.Very easy to assemble. My wife and I did it in 15 minutes.I can play on it for 12-14 hours a day on weekends without any back pain.Real deal. Buy this chair if you are a super duty user.

Generally i like the chair.2 issues (from the view of 6'5", 200LBS body):1) i wish the chair could be lifted up for an extra inch2) head cushion not super useful (with my height its around the bottom of my neck)
