I've been looking for a reasonably cheap ND filter that isn't sold by a Chinese company. This filter ticks all my boxes.The filter does the job and I took some really great landscape pictures with it, as the long exposure smooths out water surfaces.I have attached a photo I took of River Adur at dusk, with a 13 seconds exposure.Another reviewer complained about brown overcast, and I didn't find it to be too much of a problem. I've been watching YouTube videos about ND filters, and the videographer simply adjusts their white balance after putting on a ND filter.One more thing to note is that a ND64 (6-stop) filter doesn't work very well on a sunny day if you want long exposures. That is to be expected,

Looking for a 1000 ND filter is difficult as there are so many brands and price difference. I was looking more on the budget side there was a few brands on my list. In the end after checking the Rollei Brand out and looking on there web site plus the Rollei name as well.Setting the camera in manual using live view I did not need to calculate the 10 time shutter speed I could see the exposer on live view camera Sony A77.The results were excellent and I am very pleased I could not see any colour cast in all a great buy

Since moving into the Peak District I have been driving home during many beautiful sunsets wishing I had my camera with me. I haven't picked up the camera in a long time so when I received this ND64 took the first opportunity to test it out. I was on the hunt for an ND filter that I could justify the price and get decent results. After much deliberation between a few budget ND filters I chose the Rolllei. As a hobbyist photographer I am really happy with the quality and results from this Rollei ND filter.

I have posted 2 photos, both are JPG straight out from camera. one is without the filter, one is with the filter. the colour is a bit shifted, i guess partially its related to the exposure time. sharpness is alright. overall, happy with this filter. wish the carrier box is more compact tho.
