The manufacturer's website claims that this can be set up in ten minutes. TEN MINUTES? Maybe in a parallel dimension. This took hours to construct. The instructions are like some sort of logic test. You have to play great attention to tiny, tiny details to work out which items should be used and where. And it what order. It also doesn't help that the screws pictured are not always the ones which you should use. Which you only find out later in the when you realise that the one you previously used is actually the one you should be using now. Some of the bits are extremely fiddly and refuse to screw in. And the final attachment of the seat to the base is definitely a two-person job.This is all a shame because the seat is actually very good.

Christmas came early! Seat is easy to assemble, read the instructions guys. There was a minor problem with a couple of plastic inserts, Amazon offered to replace the whole thing, brilliant customer service, but I swopped the two parts over, Sorted!. I'm 6' 4" in old money, it's too low for my desk & legs. Visit local lumber yard and put it up 10cm,. Now I can slide the stick (Amazon supplied Warthog) right to the bottom of the slide. I have the throttle on the left only. You do really do almost feel like in a jet, Been in Harriier & Tornado,squeezed past the leg length/bang seat medical. So turn the lights down, put the head tracker and really enjoy. It's comfortable, solid, well manufactured,

The instructions for assembly are ok but could be a lot clearer but once assembled it is pretty solid. The seat comes with a number of cable ties and stick on Velcro pads which helps to keep my HOTAS Warthog in place.The seat is a bit low for normal use as a computer/office chair but it does make an excellent seat for playing Elite Dangerous with a VR Headset as the HOTAS Throttle and Stick seem to end up in comparable locations to the in game visualisation of the flight controls.It is probably a bit too expensive to justify for a casual gamer but if you are serious about VR compatible flight type games such as Elite Dangerous then it is probably worth the investment.

This seat is everything I needed it to be. For Hotas use it is superb. Supporting a broad range of adjust-ability. I have had to raise the side brackets using some wood but this was easily done. For driving games my steering wheel attaches to the centre bracket perfectly. My wheel is now permanently attached to the centre bracket which I just slide out when not in use. Finally the seat itself. Very comfortable, again the back can be adjusted. I am over 6 ft and the height for me is bang on. - on a side note, seat looks great as well..... Well constructed and comfortable.

The seat is great. My purchasing experience was FAR from good from Amazon. Never experienced anything like it in my life. It took weeks upon weeks to get sorted.But anyway, the seat is just really good. I do find that on the highest hotas position, they still feel a little low, but there are plenty of ways to lock things in position until you get comfortable.

Despite it being unsuitable for the A10 HOTAS from thrustmaster i would recommend thisthe seat takes a few days to get used to but this seat offers great support for your backi had to take all the mounting plates off seeing as they was just in the way.

Don't get me wrong, I like the seat. But I can't put my Saitek X56 Hotas on the central joystick support. I have to use the side one.I think that should be made clearer because I probably wouldn't have bought it.Minimum I'd have looked around more.

Works well on my pc rig, with flight sticks and occulus rift gives you in the cockpit feeling on elite dangerous.Works well as driving set with wheel attached to flight home mount as well.Great chair well worth it for geeky types like me!

An indulgence bought as part of an Amazon daily deal. Really heavy, so don't plan to move it around too much, but my X52 Pro hotas attaches nicely to the arms with industrial velcro. Great for playing Elite Dangerious esp. in VR !

The Midle mount could be improved to be more realistic with fighters center controls. Its to high veem in the lower position.Also some drilled parts were not crrectly driled making the first chair to be returned.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Assembly is pretty straight forward. One piece came broken what it only served an aesthetic person, no functionality was lost.

Really good seat, takes a bit of building, added a keyboard tray for my mouse and keyboard.
