The pepper mill arrived scratched without a box. It kind of ruined the experience of buying something new that will last for many years. I opened the paper/plastic bag it came in and there it was. No box, no plastic bag. However, ever since I got it I have used it multiple times a week and it works really well. And it looks elegant!

Nice mill, but clogs up easily when grinding over a steaming pot. All mills hate that, but this one is particularly sensitive to it. Easily avoided, though: grind onto a saucer or something and then sprinkle into the pot.
