Nope, even 25 years on I have no idea what that means. Possibly the worst advertising slogan ever in gaming but advertising one of the greatest games ever made. Xevious is the original shmup. If you're a fan of classic lone-ranger style largely pointless one man spaceship-related suicide missions, then Xevious is right up your street.Except, this isn't based in space. It was the first shmup to embrace the colours of green, brown and blue! For some reason, Xevious takes place, rumor has it, in Peru: not space, where the llamas have been replaced by all manner of bullet sprouting military machines. The catch in Xevious' gameplay lies in having to deal with both ground-based targets along with some beautifully animated (for its time)

Thanks!i used up all my lunch money on this in the arcade as a 12 year old in the arcade.Very nostalgic.Great game-still remember the patterns and music-just like 30 years ago..
