For a WWII game, this game is quite complete. It goes from 1939 to 1950, it includes ground, naval and aerial combat, the tech tree goes from the panzer I to the atomic bomb! You can battle on all over the earth globe. You can play with USA, The British Empire, France, Germany, Italy and Japan with their respective colonies. In the low historical accuracy, you mission is to conquer 80% avec the globe. In the turn by turn phase, it is like playing Risk! (but with many more options)In the real time stragy phases, the vehicles are very well detailed but the terrain is not as much detailed. Unfortunately the game suffers from unexplained crashed that happen after you play more than 3 hours in a row.

Ok I have read some of these reviews and simply do not agree with them.I have previously enjoyed strategy games such as Civilisation and Total War series. I enjoy the strategy side of these games more than the action RTS battles which are often repetitive. I have always wanted a strategy 2nd war game but have never found a playable user friendly one.Now I have........This game is a really good simple to use 2nd World War strategy game.You can play as any of the major nations and expand militarily.The whole world is covered with airpower, seapower and land based troops.Lots of cool units and buildings, with all nations having lots of unique special units. If you love ww2 games then this is a 'MUST BUY' be any of the war leaders.... be the Third Reich as tear through Europe and run amuck, or defend your lands as either Winston Churchill, De Galle, Stalin and others. 10/10

I bought this game after reading the bad reviews but there all a load of crap this game is amazing it runs fast the graphics are great there's nothing wrong with it buy this game for strategy 100%. Must buy !!!
