Very pleased with this. I bought this and other toot toot drivers sets for my one year old son for his Christmas as he really liked cars and making the wheels go round. It is made of very sturdy plastic that can withstand rough play. The track is really easy to slot together and can be arranged in different formations. He loves the spinning fire hydrant and the fire bell. He is beginning to learn how to work the lift properly and using the launcher. It connects easily to his other sets and his other smart point vehicles interact with the smart points. At the moment he tends to drive the fire engine around on the floor and pulls the track apart but he will soon learn.He loves buttons and figured out straight away to press the button on the fire engine to activate the songs and sound effects. The fire engine comes with an on/off switch at the bottom for parents sanity when little ones are on bed as once it has been activated it will randomly play songs etc for around five minutes before going into sleep mode. Was happy to learn that the toot toot animals range also interact with the smart points since my son isn't too bothered about keeping them separate. The only assembly this needed was to put the lift on and set up the track the way you want it. The batteries that were supplied in the fire engine are still going strong after much use. This has three smart points in total: the lift, the launcher at the top and the piece of fixed track that passes through the cat flap like for of the fire station. So overall a very happy little boy who is kept occupied for a long time and a happy mummy.

I was a little skeptical about the whole 'toot toot' thing, so when my son received this as a present I was a curious.But I had no need to worry... Its very good quality, bright, flashy and cheery (the sounds it makes are upbeat and engaging). It stands up to a little rough treatment too with no issues.This is interchangeable with many other 'toot toot' sets, all of which have the same charm as this.He's not bored of it yet, and shows no sign of getting bored at any point soon! Good value too.I'm a toot toot convert.

I expected to find this toy annoying like most vtech toys but my two-year-old son loves it so much that I can't fault it. It can be joined to other toot toot tracks. We use it with the train tracks. The songs played by the fire engine are annoying but it's possible to turn them off.

Not yet played with as putting away for birthday or xmas - I am very pleased with the quality of it on checking it over & bigger than I expected which is great. Big fan of Vtech toys & I'm sure this will be loved for yrs to come along with other playsets purchased at the same time.

My nearly one year old loves this fire station! He has lots of fun watching the fire engines roll down the track and is just learning how to use the lift. He loves destroying the track but it easily slots together

Can't love the VTech Toot-toot selection enough, my nephew has nearly the full lot and is always finding new and creative ways to built his little town - Well worth the money and much cheaper then RRP.

The toot toot sets are fun and colourful. Perfect for all age ranges. I bought for my 18 month old boy and he will still enjoy these at the age of 4 because my daughter does x

Great toy for my 1 year old to grow with. He has the garage & loves the music but he pulls the track to pieces at the minute so I think we will leave the track for now.

Fantastic bought this for my son for Christmas, he still doesn't understand that you put the car around the track yet but he is learning with it.
