Ok so you could get something cheaper. The TDK brand is virtually as good and costs a bit less. But with Verbatim you get 100% reliable burns at maximum speed and the print surface is far better than others I've tried (TDK, Ritek).The proof comes from Neros DiscSpeed which measures the C1 & C2 errors - very low to zero on these discs even when burned at 48x.CD burning (especialy audio CDs) can be a real pain - how often have you found the disc won't play or skips? - so why take chances?

I like the Verbatim AZO CD-R disks. I have found them to be very reliable with CD audio recordings that will play on older CD players as well as more recent ones. I have only given a middle rating on printing because I use a pen to write on the disks, I haven't printed any of them.

Have used these CD-R Printable cd's for years and find they are consistently good, never any duds. A bit more pricey than some of the other Verbatim discs but well worth the extra ££. I still burn a lot of cd's (old fashioned no doubt) and highly recommend these.

I have always used Verbatim discs (both CD-R and DVD-R) because of their reliability when writing as compared with other brands. With this most recent batch I have had no failures and the image quality of the printed disc is excellent.

I have a lot of Verbatim CD/DVD discs, but had not purchased any printable discs, 'til now. I had a problem with a batch of cheap CDs and just ditched the lot. Went for Verbatim and problem over.

I think the packaging confused the Royal Mail as the address was squashed like a concertinaHopefuly future packing will improve, there was no damage to the CD-R's

I only ever use Verbatim discs as you almost never get a dud one. The printable surface is great. Makes home movie discs look real professional. Excellent discs.
