Please note that this review is for the 38 and not the 25. I can't seem to select the 38 as the review subject. You often feel that you are taking a punt when buying an item like this, so I de-risked slightly by asking for it for Christmas. I have a couple of backpacks but they don't quite do the job. The "38" version of this bag can hold my mefoto globetrotter snugly in the tripod compartment, while also holding my d850, a spare lens and some other accessories. The bag itself is well made and feels rugged. If anything, in terms of negatives, the removable separators don't feel as sturdy as those for my backpacks, but I've no doubt they will do the job. Having said that, what I will point out is that the lining is less fluffy than other bags I own. With them you can find it difficult to position dividers because the Velcro attaches so easily. In this case I'd say it is too far the other way and they don't stick strongly enough, which is definitely slightly disappointing.I'm very happy with this bag and I can see that it will get used frequently. When the tripod isn't needed the lower compartment can hold a telephoto or otherwise that compartment can actually be removed to make more room in the camera compartment of the bag.

Purchased this to hold my kit for overnighters or a long day out. It doesn't scream camera bag like my billingham and is a quarter of the cost. The bottom tripod section holds my 235 or my 265 veo tripod. The top holds my Fuji x100v or xpro1+35mm, small filters, flash, blower, a couple of power banks and a few other bits like my wrist strap. The front pocket holds my batteries and usb charger for the power banks. There's still room for other things but filling it will add weight. This keeps things nice and light. Top access is easy with the zip being on the top. This would easily take a dslr and a couple of lenses. Theres a rear zipper pocket too (cleaning cloths etc.)and an ipad sleeved section in the main compartment. There's also a side pocket for a water bottle , I use a small camelbak chute flask. The straps/buckles on the outside hold my jacket/hiking sticks or will hold a tripod if you want to put a lens in the bottom section. All zips are good and strong, materials are good quality too. The strap is strong and has a good shoulder pad too. Waterproof cover looks good quality.Highly recommended.

I found the bag really quite useful. The divisions are not fixed so you can adjust as necessary. The area for the tripod is a reasonable size. I took my gorillapod and had room left over to stuff a lense into that area as well. I took it on holiday with me, and it held a Nikon DSLR, a wide-angle lense, an 18-400mm lense, gorillapod, a tablet, travel guide, wallet and mobile phone, plus odds and ends like lenses for the mobile phone, plasters, aspirins and timetables. At one point I bought a bottle of wine, and was able to put that into the tripod area because the tripod can in fact be fixed at the front of the bag. And as it was a very rainy period,I was very happy with the rain cover provided.

Overall not a bad backpack but difficult to figure out the sling part. Not a great deal of room for camera equipment, I got DSLR with 18mmx105mm lens attached. Only room for my 50mm and 55mmx300mm lens and a small space for maybe a flash. Top of backpack will take a few items, mainly spare clothes. There is room for a small tablet and mobile phone.

Fantastic quality and cleverly designed bag, very compact and ideal for taking on planes. Design is quite stealth so its ideal for going to countries where you don't want to be flashing off the fact you are carrying expensive camera gear.

Was a great bag but I returned it as it wasn’t quite big enough for my gear as just before it arrived mu wife surprised me with a new lens which was a large one.

Lots of storage space for a day out shooting photographs. Enough room for a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens and a camera with lens fitted.

I was looking for a bag that would take my 5D & 70-200 lens and this does the job perfect.
