This has made my life so much easier!!!Initially, I was very confused as to how to get the paint out. But that was entirely my problem, as the instructions (which I finally discovered by glancing at the side of the pen) are very simple, and easy to follow. They consist of pictures and words, which I always prefer as you can actually see what you are supposed to do. Basically, on opening the packaging (nice and secure) that the paint pen arrives in, you shake it for a few minutes (a good work out ?) then open the lid and press the pen repeatedly against a hard surface. This allows the paint to move down the nib.After the paint is at the lowest point, you simply use this like any pen!

I bought this thinking that it was a pen to write on chalk with.My chalk is constantly being taken by my neighbour and I wanted him to feel guilty, so I was going to write my name on all my bits of chalk.So the day arrives and there is a pen shaped box (well it was actually a 6’x4’ box because Amazon packaging) sat on my doormat, and the pinprick feelings of rightful vengeance start to swell. I feel giddy with anticipation.Only to find that the pen writes white and added more chalk to my chalk. Whilst obviously delighted that I now had more chalk, I was a little disappointed that you couldn’t see my name.So instead I used the pen to write “PATRICK IS A CHALK THIEF” on a brick and threw it through his window.The pen worked excellently on the brick,

I am a professional artist. - I would hate my life if i didn't have Posca pens!These pens are 100% the best of their kind. The tip is soft but not so soft that it breaks away after a few hours of use, the depth of the black paint rivals ink - which anyone painting on canvas will know is as dark as you'll get. They're lightweight and super versatile and whats best is you can draw with the nip pointed upwards (like on the ceiling etc) and the pen's fluidity isn't effected.i've used these to paint:CanvasesBrick wallsWindowsCardboardPut basically, it's paint in a pen that will write on anything..

I had previously ordered one of these pens with a fine nib which didn't last very long and the nib just bent and split, I then ordered another brand which just sank into my paper so I thought I would get another Posca but went for this thicker nib one in the hope it would be sturdier and I am pleased to say it is. I have waited a couple of weeks to write my review to make sure it doesn't go funny like the last one did but it is great and the paint is coming out as it should be, not watery like with the fine nib. I will buy another when it runs out and would recommend it.

My daughter found out about these product on Internet and I was sceptical about the quality and money related... but they are amazing, great quality, huge colours pallet, easy to use and it is true they are so intense that one colour is going over other without mixing... if the white going over black it stays white... the colouring is a real pleasure, the effect is as you use paints but without a paint brush!!!- I love it- as for mummy less mess around the table or in a house... the price desired to be more affordable though..!!!!Generally very happy

I had been trying to black out a large area of bright orange & green stitching on a pair of black trainers, and after applying dye and a Sharpie, they were still a bit iridescent. My next thought was a paint based marker (oil or acrylic) and I found this to have good reviews. One coat of this and it's now fairly matte black and just looks textured next to the woven fabric uppers, rather than a different colour. Definitely provides a thick coat of paint and pretty easy to use once I got the paint flowing.

Very good marker, for marking dark coloured items. I bought it to put my name on some black items at my stables - it wrote on plastic feed bins, the rubber handle of a whip, on buckets, glazed wooden brushes etc. Very good opaque white marker. Even when I handle the items, it doesn't seem to rub off (yet). When you put your name on things, they generally will make their way back to you if they get misplaced, that's the reason for the purchase. Purpose fulfilled, happy customer.

Iv heard a lot of good things about posca paint pens, so I thought I'd treat myself to some during this lockdown period,I have tried them out and they are fabulous, very bright colours, dry very quick, the 5 mm nib is great for dot painting, iv also got 1mm nib but not tried them yet.....They are quite pricey but are really good and professional finish.I'm really happy..

I bought this for the specific purpose of drawing on Tru-Grain to expose a screen for a screen print.It did an excellent job and I am very happy with the result. As it’s a ‘paint’ marker it was slightly flakey once dry (hence 4 stars not 5) however that could be due to the medium I was using.It was more effective than most other markers that are not ‘true black’.

I bought this to colour a silver dash cam in. It stood out like I sore thumb so I wanted to camouflage it a bit, but without it being permenant ( in case of warranty issues). This goes on easy like a permenant marker and dries to a mat chalky finish which can be rubbed off easily if needed. This will be a pro or a con depending on what you want to use it for.

Great pens just what I was after the only thing I would say is that gold pen was very runny I wasn't pressing down on the tip at all every time I took the cap off it was like a river! I didn't feel that the pigment was very good the silver and gold both lacked a real sparkle that I was after which was a bit of a shame . But all in all they were ok!

We used this posca pen along with two other tip sizes to decorate our nursery. This size was really useful for the shading and filling in letters and other large areas of black in our design. As with the other posca pens it does need to be vigarously shook before use to get the ink flowing. Have already recommended this product to friends.

Ive bought dozens of these. Why I have to keep reviewing them is beyond me. Anyway they are top quality but if you shop around there is a Japanese seller who does a set of 12 for around 12 pounds which works out a quid each. They are great for purpose and they've saved me some serious time when needing fine lines on paintings. They rock!

I find this pen very helpful when adding finishing details to my artwork. Initially it splattered every now and again but nothing too damaging. Also I find that it can briefly not produce it’s ink but if you push now the tip or shake the pen it tends to go back on track. Overall this product is useful PLUS it can double up as tipex!

used it to doodle on the cover of my art book and on skateboard grip tape and it’s there to stay! awesome value for money, looks great with solid pigment. would 10/10 recommend. flows a lot better that thinner pens in my opinion, great for chunkier line work (s’cuse how messy my second board is it’s mainly just here for deco now)
