I'm going to compare this Posca marker to their Uni Posca marker fine liner (with a bullet tip) to this product (the "pin type", as the barrel states), simply because I want a point of reference.First of all, both markers are 0.7mm tips. Both products also weigh the same; which makes it likely that both have the same amount of ink in them, although I cannot state that for sure - neither product state how many milliliter of ink there is in each pen. Now, at this point you might ask, quite justifiably, "why bother buying both, if one can suffice?". And you'd be partially right with your assumption; however, why bother selling two different products if they're so seemingly the same? The answer lies in the two key differences between the pens: the type of tip,and the form of their barrel. Now, despite the aforementioned similarity in millimeters regarding the tip, the type of tip does have an impact on line width, and by comparison the "pin tip" is much better at creating thin lines. Although the bullet tip is not bad for small work by any means, this product does make it noticeably easier to manage. However, bigger areas are a little harder to manage, or at least a little more frustrating, whereas the bullet tip makes it a bit less so. Manageability is really the key difference; if you have a smaller sketch book (like in an A5 or A6 size), or just simply like finer details in white, I would say go with this product. The other difference, the size of the barrel, is the one people might be more interested in.The bullet tip marker has a noticeably chunkier barrel; the size of a Letraset/Winsor&Newton promarker, maybe a little thinner, whereas this product has a longer, thinner barrel about the circumference of a pencil (maybe a little bigger). People who have limited space in their pencil case, or just prefer thinner barrels, will appreciate this marker a bit more than the bullet tip one.Overall, this pen is solid. It is good for fine work, it has a nice barrel, and it is a good value for money. Also, as a quick tip, the ink will most likely not immediately flow out when it arrives - you need to press the tip down on a surface a few times to pump the ink out. In case it appears to have dried out, try pumping a few times; if that still doesn't do the trick, try leaving it on it's head (the tip pointing towards the ground) overnight, so that you get more longevity out of it.Bye!

Watching my father, who is registered blind, struggle to line up certain components on his food processor, or see the various buttons on the TV remote control, I hit on the idea of marking them for him. It had to be something he can see – obviously – and something that won't rub off easily. This little pen is ideal. As he is also colour blind he cannot see red on black, sometimes even white on black can be difficult, but bright yellow is perfect.I've tested this on my basic little mobile phone – it dries quickly, is clear to see on the black plastic, and so far hasn't rubbed off. It's really easy to use - keeping the top on, shake it vigorously for a few seconds.Remove top and press the tip of the pen firmly on a hard surface - I used a piece of paper on a kitchen worktop just to get it flowing - then apply. The tip is quite fine making writing really clear, but it's also easy to apply twice to make a heavier, bolder mark.Excellent product with all sorts of uses; worth the very modest price.

Although this is regarded as a 'Paint Pen', I didn't expect it to be so effective looking, since many others just look like ink. After unpacking it from it tight sheath of plastic, shaking and popping off the cap, you press down the nib for the paint to make its way through the pen. Finally it reaches the nib which softens a little. The action is smooth and it feels nice to use. The paint is just the right consistency. It's not thin enough to need a second coat and it's not thick to the point where's there's too much. It dries almost immediately on paper, though the application potential is endless. I've seen many people use these pens on rocks, so it open up a whole load of hobby potential! So good, I may buy a set and use them for dedicated art projects. I bought the brown pen just to cover a peeled bit of leather on an expensive folder and it worked well. Recommened!

Nice pen that seems to apply a permanent, water proof paint. The paint is fairly concentrated so it actually covers the areas you try to colour, without being transparent.Actually I bought it for craft and modelling purposes in particular. My children are into model kit construction and rather than letting them dabble with paint, brushes and thinner, I supplied then with several markers to add paint detail. When you use it fo the first time you have to shake it and push the tip to get the paint out, all pretty straight forward. If I would point to one drawback , it's advertised as a fine tip. But I would have preferred a slightly finer one for precision painting. But it's already pointed a fairly fine. But generally quite pleased.Over time I will have many more purposes for this pen, its very versatile. And I might buy a complete set with more colour variation.

I'm absolutely delighted with this pen (and I bought the 3M size too) I have been using it to draw on stones, rocks and pieces of slate and wow I've produced some lovely art. I wasn't sure if it was waterproof so I have left some of my artwork outdoors for a few days in the rain and sun and they look great still. The ink goes on and on and on ... I bought some more because I didn't want them to run out but I'm still using the same pen, it hasn't run out yet. This brand of paint pen is definitelt the BEST I've used. It dries quite quickly and although I wish there was a finer version, I'm not complaining because I feel I have found what is close to the perfect painting pen.A real bargain considering how much paint is loaded into it.You do have to shake it and stamp it a lot before it starts flowing.Great seller too, dispatched very quickly.

This range of pens deliver acrylic paint onto almost any surface, meaning that colours are true and long-lasting. I use these pens constantly, writing notes onto my glass desk (no more piles of Post-its), marking spice-containers, covering the annoying alternate-format markings on my keyboards, re-lettering faded text on devices, etc., etc..The nibs are resilient, and the flow of 'ink' is even and without clogging. Note: If the pen has been unused for some time, re-wet the nibs by gently it down onto paper; the nib moves up into the body of the pen, and returns as pressure is reduced. The supplier: My order arrived quickly and well-packaged.

I ordered this as a replacement for my last one, which lasted me well over a year (probably over two years, I can't recall) with reasonably frequent use. (you can make them last longer by opening them up and adding a little water towards the end of their life) Finally decided to get a new one since the paint was getting too watery, and this pen is really worth its weight in gold (pun intended). I've used this on paper and leather, both to great effect. The paint is really very shiny so I tend to use it for highlights/accents. It arrived much sooner than expected (within a week), so that was a nice surprise!

I am a professional artist. - I would hate my life if i didn't have Posca pens! These pens are 100% the best of their kind. The tip is soft but not so soft that it breaks away after a few hours of use, the depth of the black paint rivals ink - which anyone painting on canvas will know is as dark as you'll get. They're lightweight and super versatile and whats best is you can draw with the nip pointed upwards (like on the ceiling etc) and the pen's fluidity isn't effected.i've used these to paint:CanvasesBrick wallsWindowsCardboardPut basically, it's paint in a pen that will write on anything..

Love this pen, it’s just what I needed to “customise” my trainers. The way you can press down on the nib several times to pump more ink out is very useful, especially for the purpose I was using it for. As I was covering dark orange with the white pen, I did have to do multiple “coats” of the ink for a solid white colour, but this was expected. Can’t predict how long the amount of ink will last, but I’m sure the pen isn’t capable of “drying out” because of the type of nib it has - if you haven’t used it in a while, keep pressing down on the nib until you notice the ink and you’re good to go.

When my mother died recently, I inherited her recipe book. Whilst it's great to be able to carry on baking those family favourites, as it is handwritten, there is no mention of cake tin sizes, no need, because she knew what she used for each cake, unfortunately I don't. So I bought this pen and have written both the size and the cake names on my bakewear, so my daughter won't have the same problem. Obviously I don't intend to be handing over my recipe books any time soon, so it's really good to see that the writing has so far survived both baking in the oven and washing up afterwards!!

I got it to label some small metal hand tools where Sharpie ink just rubs off. So far, its perfect: no smudging or rubbing off. Seems to be unaffected by the odd bit of oil or grease. Also works well on shiny/slippery polyethylene film where Sharpies and other permanent markers don't always write well.Plus, it is really easy to write with. Somehow, the ink flow is just right. It doesn't gloop or blob, nor does the line get dry or patchy.I know these pens have a cult following. I'm starting to see why.

This pen is renowned in the art world and there's not much I can say that hasn't already been said. It's a brilliant tool to add details and highlights to paintings and is very versatile as my dad uses it to mark metal in his work.It cam become expensive to keep replacing it but I have found that it lasts a long time (depending on amount of use obviously) and it worth the money but there are other options out there which are nearly as good for a cheaper price.9/10 would recommend.

This is a great pen. I have used another well known brand before and the ink leaks after awhile, also after couple of months of not using it, the paint dried out. With Uni Posca pen, this has been almost 6 months and the pen is still working fine. I use the white paint pen to write on plastic surface mainly. If you made a mistake in writing, the ink can be easily scratched off.In summary,+The nib doesn't dry out easily+Doesn't leak/splatter when shaken compared to other brands

I bought this based on the strength of the reviews from bujo (bullet journal) youtubers. I do like the pen, it's bright white, which makes it great to label dark, matt covers. I can't recommend its use on glossy covers, I don't think the ink would stand. Some people use it as a white out, but I can't recommend that, because with strong colours, it will bleed through the white. I do like the nib, because it's easy to use, and feels firm enough to write normally.

This item arrived well within the timescale but I have only used it briefly since it arrived.I didn't know how it worked at first, but after pressing down on a piece of scrap paper and getting a blob of white ink (good job it wasn't on one of my projects), I found that the ink flowed very well and the fine nib is excellent for fine detailing.I may buy my daughter one of these as it is hand to have a white marker pen when you are colouring in for card making.
